A beloved park, so many fond memories there. It’s Incredibly maintained, spacious, has a cute bridge and an amphitheater stage area that has music in the summers. I’d recommend walking along the path closest the the river, can’t go wrong there. You can also ride your bike through it on a path.

Beautiful, Tranquil place, with the river flowing through. Fall colors are amazing. Proximity to the nice downtown is a great advantage. Too bad one pRt of the river bank is private and not accessible.

What a WONDERFUL park to visit and walk around in! We wanted to get some exercise and walk around the outskirts of Bend, and Drake park was by far one of our favorite parts! Lots of ducks, geese, and space to walk on the trail. Grass is green, trees provide lots of shade, and calming water to gaze upon. Not much bird poop around as it seems the grounds are well maintained.

A beautiful park to take a walk. There are exceptional gardens and scenery all around the park. The pond is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking if you have the equipment.

A beautiful public space in Bend. People floating the river in 95 degree sunny weather. Very convenient short walk to downtown. The park is part of the attraction that brings visitors here, with many deciding to move here. As Sam Elliot likes to say: Safe journeys!

Comfortable rooms out in the country with about a 1 mile easy walking trail to the town of Genoa. Nice pool with 5 hot tubs surrounding it.

What is there not to like about Drake Park!? I love that its only a few minutes away from my house lots of people watching beautiful grassy sunny places to lay out and enjoy.

Very nice public space. Vast open lawn with plenty of shade. The walkways and seating areas around the water is well done. The perfect place for an easy stroll in the evenings. Just a stones throw away from places to eat.

Beautiful park, multiple spots to float.There are multiple places to eat that are extremely close also. One nice thing in the summer is they hold music and movie events for everyone to come watch. I would recommend the park for any water lover, dog lover or fun haver!

Bend is not a real town. It was created by a wish from an innocent child. Its like by law - everyone and everything have to be cute. I will not be surprised if their mayor is a bunny in a chick suit sitting in a pumpkin. This park is no exception. The river is cute, the ducks are cute, the geese (who are supposed to be mean) are cute, and all the cute people are walking their cute little dogs.

Exploring Bend, OR we found Drake Park It made for a great walking area because it was huge and had beautiful views of the river.

Great entry/exit point for kayaking and water sports on the south end of Mirror Pond, love to bike ride the paved trail and the tap houses and restaurants in nearby old town are great.

Its a great park just outside downtown Bend-iego right on a calm stretch of the Deschutes River. Plenty of open space, walking paths, bike paths and ball courts. Summertime concerts are a frequent occurrence and usually very good. Downtown pubs are really close as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes. Seriously idealic park in beautiful Central Oregon.

Floated the pond here and then relaxed on the grass. Lovely place to relax.

Beautiful, huge, old trees. Lots of nooks and crannies to relax in. Right on water and next to downtown. Parking is a bit of a challenge.

Not sure what the big hype about this park is, it’s big and pretty with a pretty view of the river, lots of space and lots of bird poop on the sidewalk. Walked my dog around for a bit and then went in to town. I hear it’s more eventful in summer months.

Calm peaceful park just minutes from downtown. Still waters of the Deschutes. I found the horse drawn log skidder interesting. Nice old growth pines ad well as many other trees. Well maintained with multiple paths.

Drake Park is just a beautiful and peaceful park to visit. Lots of action going on in the summer months. Its a unloading and loading area for river rafters. Thre is also many events that take place here, as well as a great place to go for a walk, a swim, or feed the ducks.

A great park to visit as there are plenty of trails to walk swing sets for the kids or just a great place to hang and enjoy the reflection pond on the river. Located just off the main street of downtown bend where there are plenty of places to eat and recreate. Highly recommended

Floating the river from Riverbend Park to Drake Park was probably one of the top five funnest things Ive done in my life. I cannot wait to come back I loved every second.

Few mornings have been better spent than strolling along the water at Drake Park. Each season and every visit offers something new so grab your coffee or other beverage and enjoy some true serenity. Only way it could be better would be an actual playground for the kiddos. As much as they love a good walk, they get bored after a bit and I would have loved to enjoy the park more while they played.
