Much better place now. Has basketball hoops, play structures, swings and few gym equipments, covered area w/ picnic tables. Dog area is open during certain hours

Not a great park but okay place for kids.

As of Aug 2015, park is functional: a green field of grass with enough room to fly a kite or throw a ball, and some minimal basketball hoops. The small playground equipment is clean and safe but rather exposed...a bit too hot in summer (no shade) and cold in winter (no treeline to protect from the wind). The community center behind the park has interesting tenants and events irregularly, and theres a nice community garden on the side.Note: planning a renovation of this area seems to be one of the agenda items on the Belmont City Councils to-do list this year, so depending on how long it takes to gather community input, draft plans, get feedback, get bids, etc, this review might be out of date as early as 2017.

Its a community center not really a park. with a large outdoor play area with basketball courts and a very large grass area.
