Great looking place but dont go without your own company and friends my wife took our 10month old to run and play and I guess the usuals there didnt take too kindly to a new dog with actual energy and very friendly yet they acted like a bunch of petulant children. We understand puppies have energy and shes 40lbs so she cant play in the small dog area but the way they acted I wont head back there ill stick to the streets.

My dog Jessie had SO much fun here! I enjoyed watching her run! the people there are pretty cool for our 1st time going there!

This place was so nice. Our friends recommended it for our toddler. He had fun on the slides and walking on the bridge. It was clean and well cared for. It even has a sand pit, though, it looked like it had some grass growing in it. But hey, youre at a park. Grass is normal. Lol great place to go for the kiddies.

A range of free and non free facilities for the kids. Excellent playground for kids up to 12 years old. Easy parking

Great park for small children 2 years and up. Theres a smaller set of equipment for the toddler set and a larger set of equipment with a little bigger kids. Thats in the play area there. They also have a jogging and walking path but Im not sure how long that is. They have numerous bird nests up on the poles which are very interesting. Seems like a lot of parakeets and parrots have made the park their home.

Agree that its the best I have seen so far but it doesnt get 5 stars......no concession stand.......

Loved this place!! I came here with my partner to ice skate. The circular fireplace when you walk in the door is amazing. The staff was friendly and quick to help out. No issues with the rink and it was not crowded. We had a great time. I will definitely be back when I visit next time. Thank you for a great experience.

I know Im being biased but I was told that you cant walk your dog around the park while walking my dog. You can only take them to the dog park, which is only useful for certain dogs :/. Otherwise its in decent shape.

Decent park, kids playground could use some updating, did park could use some sanitizer.

IA nice walk in the park on a sunny day .it was great to get outside and get a little exercise.

Great place for seniors pool and accommodations

This is a very nice public park. The facilities are well maintained and kept clean. The ball fields are especially well attended. The only issue can be the toilets. On several occassions the toilets at the ends of the park were closed necessitating a long walk to those that were open. Last time I was there toilet supplies were lacking.

Went for skating lessons for my son. Reasonably priced and includes public skating in the price. Has a decent waiting area with a fireplace.

Don’t bother they open and close it whenever they feel like it there’s no consistency in times..Just go down the block and go to Wantagh state park at least you know they’re open.

Great outdoor recreation area. Basketball, handball, tennis, baseball, huge playground structure with safety mat, indoor ice skating, and PARROTS! The park is home to a large colony of Monk parrots, whose colonial nests are built among the baseball field lighting. Google Newbridge Park parrots to read more about these birds. Ample parking. Road signage makes it easy to find. Nearby restaurants make it a great destination for family activities.

Cleanest dog park I have ever been to. Friendly people.

Its a fun place to bring children of all ages. Theres a playground, handball and paddle ball court and basketball court. Plenty of places to ride bicycles and theres also a baseball diamond here and benches to enjoy networking and friends and family activities. Parking here is free and with inquiry there are free neighborhood activities for county residents

A cool park

Not a bad place to play basketball. If your career is doing something for society that needs you to take a drug test the next day, do not go here!!!! People smoke marijuana and you will smell like it when you get home. Im warning you.

Visited the dog park. Lovely. Lots of dogs of different breeds and sizes. Nice to see both dogs and human enjoying the outing.

Came to LI for a interview and stopped and had lunch at the park...

I live up the block from this park and come here very often. The town just doesnt care. We pay so much in taxes and everything is a mess. The walkways are terrible and all ripped up. This park is no where close to handicapped accessible and they go the cheap way out to fix things. The no animal policy seems completely dumb and unfair to me and many others. Whats the point of a dog park if I cant walk my dog there for exercise? At least emotional support dogs should be an acception. The skating rink is good. So are most of the courts.

Not happy with the lack of cleanliness there is here. Poop covered the turf and it was days old. Some of the owners there were good about picking it up, others not so much. Will not be back unfortunately

Great playground, good for any kids over 4 and under 13. Very clean. Good walking paths, from 1 mile posted to over 2 if you do entire perimeter. Lots of parking, nice pool and great skating rink. Awesome dog park we havent tried yet but plan on it next spring.

Very well maintained, Excellent Manacured Fields, Wonderful staff And overall a great experience to Enjoy this park With all of the amenities! Also has a nice walking trail, tennis and other courts, a great playground, a huge outdoor swimming pool and separate Remodeled locker rooms, showers for men and women. And as a bonus there is a indoor ice skating ring Located on the grounds and also this park offers a dog park at the end of the fields. This park truly has it all!

Been visiting since my childhood. A safe place to recreate with plenty of options for sports and activities. Fun at any age

Loads of feral cats over 60 cats no litter boxs dept of health been called several times two women feeders and a man made dirty megshift wooden box homes for them 6 ft long by field 4 behind fence and pool next to track dirty cans if food every day stinks of urine and feces cat feeders have key to fence and put dried trees to cover housing and mess feral cats carry desise and it is disgusting to breathe in while bikeriding or running on the path or swimming at the pool...make our parks healthy and clean send a complaint to town supervisor stop these ppl from feeding feral cats as pets and get the cats to shelter or home not our family park!

Great playground area with well-maintained equipment, nice and clean ice skating rink, nice and clean outdoor pool. Nice staff at the latter two complexes. Residents of the neighborhood get a discount for the rink and pool.

This was my first time at this rink. My son had a hockey game versus the Arrows. It was a nice rink, but since it was so early, the pro shop, concessions, etc were not open so I cannot comment on the facility as a whole.

The pool is terrible. No seats that recline and they regularly close the diving boards. Just go to wantagh pool and dont waste your time here
