One of the prettiest park and not a long drive from Bellevue. There is a nice little beach and you can see a lot of people swimming and boating. There are several trails to walk and bike. There is enough space to maintain social distancing. You can also see a lot of people fishing! There is also a lot of guidance and how to maintain social distancing and have added banners to raise awareness to prevent COVID. There is also ample of parking space! Highly recommend visiting this park.

Beautiful park. Ample parking. Benches were a mess. I shunt expect them to be spotless, its outdoor and not under cover, but they had stuff all over then. Couldnt even wipe them down sufficiently. But if you are there for the beach and a grassy place to sit, its lovely.

Nice and secluded Park beach in Newcastle, get off 405 of the Newcastle exit turn right turn right again and just follow the sign down the road to Newcastle Beach. Park is medium sized theres a huge grassy play field and a covered area for picnics with some barbecue grills, the beach area its kind of small though. Good place for some quiet time or to walk your dog, they have a lifeguard Tower and they have nice restrooms as well. Good ample parking.

Newcastle Beach park has a large open feild, as well as a playground, bathroom, covered eating area and swimming area. If there is a lifeguard on duty you have to take a swim test by swimming across the roped off area (you might not be able to wear goggles during the test). If passed the is a larger area and a dock to jump off. The area without a test is considerable smaller and shallower but fun for younger kids. There is also a small beach, preferable you would lay your towel in the grass next to it. The playground has a large structure with a side as well as so pretend train cars. At the covered area there are a few picnic tables as well as two grills.

This park has the most massive hydrangea bushes; they are so big they tower over my little Camry. Pull the flower clumps sorta apart for the surprise of beautiful almost batik-ish colors that you woulda never guessed would be inside- periwinkle blue, turning to violet, turning to the most gorgeous maroon shade. Be considerate about how you do it and the man who tends the grounds here told me I could cut all the blossoms i wished. This park also has a unique row of old support posts for a long gone dock which are unique because each has a several foot tall seedling tree now flourishing atop each one. Its like a demonstration of the circle of life, new life springing forth from old lifelessness... And at sundown, the sunset is directly across lake washington and makes a perfect backdrop for the baby trees. You just gotta go and see for yourselves! This is my absolute fav park on this side of the mountains for sure! I newcastle beach park!

A perfect park for summers. It has a lush green field, descent size play area, board walk, sand beach and picnic areas (covered and open). Parking is limited to 125-140 vehicles. Restrooms and beach shower is also there. Very near to the freeway.

We went on a very crowded day so it was hard to get the full experience but it seemed like a nice place. enjoyed being able to have lunch right by the water. good play areas for kids.can be a little high volume so I wouldn’t go during peak hours if you are easily overwhelmed.also, the no dogs allowed rule is not a good one.

My boys and I have now nicknamed this park Goose Poop Park. Although from a distance the grass looks green and inviting, it is full of goose droppings and feathers. The floating dock is also laden with poop. Very unsanitary and gross. In all fairness, the view of the lake is beautiful and an occasional eagle flies by which is fun.

It has a lot of potential. It has nice green grass, but the birds poop in too many areas (see dock in picture), and the water has weeds all over. There are better options elsewhere. Also the swim shallow section is like 2 feet deep and kids need to pass a swim test to go in waist deep water.

It is a good beach / beach park to visit on a Sunny Day. There were many families on a Holiday when we visited this beach with family and young children. Most families had come in groups and were enjoying Barbecue food (they had brought with them the barbecue system). The water was still cold but the children enjoyed this place very well. great location and secluded. not a big park, but has everything you need! Even lifeguards! One Caveat is that its a hassle to go back and forth to your car to the water/picnic tables

I love this park but beware in the summertime towards the end the bird poop is atrocious! Its a great play to play for kids ...maybe up to age 10? Toddlers find lots to do and the great thing is you can ride your bike! A big circle paved trail all around the park and also an off-road smaller trail on the south-side. Lots of corporate parties here during the summer so go early for parking.

Im excited to say we are going back again tomorrow. If you get there early enough the parking is easy. Its quite popular but there is always a place to enjoy the Sun and be near the water. My wife likes to get in and play in the water and theres a shower right there if you need it but its really designed for toddlers its a kids wading pool. I am happy to sunbathe and enjoy my podcast. Its so nice to be out near the water on these hot summer days. of course it has restrooms and theyre fairly clean. Theres no lifeguard nor any staff but none is needed. Like I say theres plenty of room for everyone. I was a little Disturbed to see that a band was setting up because youre not supposed to have loud music there. But we were on our way out so it was not an issue.

A theft took place this morning between 9 AM to 11 AM. Parking lot was half full and the thief saw a purse through the vehicles tinted window. Within 15 minutes, the police who came to investigate said the thief had tried to use the credit card at a nearby Best Buy. Hide your belongings at this park lot or better yet leave valuables at home.
