This was me and my youngest sons second time to the caverns and my oldest sons first time. We truly had an amazing time. The staff is very welcoming and informative. Our tour guide Sam was incredible. His knowledge about the cave and its history was beyond impressive. The passion he has for this cave is something one doesnt get to witness on a daily basis. Truly special. Our experience was magical and inspiring and we now plan on doing the Southern Indiana Cave Trail. We will be back again in the future sometime, hopefully for the new kayaking tours.

Very neat place. I went as a very small child and love tgat I was able to bring my daughter here and check it out. There was a bit of a wait(holiday weekend) but they have nice trails to walk and you can pan for wonderful things why you wait. Well worth the trip.

OK, so I was really scared. I almost had a panic attack when just thinking about going. When we got there though, we had Sam as our tour guide. His mix of sarcasm and humor made everything better. It was so much fun when we took the tour, especially the cave thunder! When we got done, we went and got souvenirs (of course) and then we checked out the sinkhole! The souvenirs are not that expensive either, so that just made everything better. I had a great time! Thank you so much Sam!!!

Really fascinating to learn about and experience the largest under ground river. Kids will love spotting the small cave fish. They are all white and blind.

This place is wonderful! It might seem expensive, but TOTALLY worth every penny. You get a 60 minute tour through underground caverns, and on a hot day, the temps in the cave feel AMAZING. Our tour guide was very knowlegeable and professional. She was able to answer all the questions that our group had. We will likely go back next time we are in the area.

Amazing place to visit, very informative and interactive, steep walk down and up but wasn’t to much of an issue for anyone. Boat ride was amazing our guide was fun, no complaints.

A great time was had by all, we went on the boat tour and also found gemstones and fossils. Our children are 4 & 6. They both loved their adventure. The tour guide was super nice, and funny. I even managed to get up and down the steep hill in a walking boot! (Broken foot) which the guide was also accommodating to wait for me and reassure me that I wouldnt get left behind.

$20. I wasnt sure what to expect, apparently they have one of the longest continuous underground rivers in the US... They require masks and you are socially distancing during your tour and on the boat. They have built a dam to create enough water to take a boat back in the caves. The caves dont have much for formations. Its an interesting boat ride/tour. They were training in our guide and he had a tendency to hit the walls and the passengers in the back were constantly ducking or pushing off the rock to avoid getting crushed against the cave walls. Towards the back of the cave them slam a boat cushion on the boat seat so you can hear the echo through the Caverns. Definitely a different cave experience than most.

Such an exciting find. The guides and gift store staff were incredibly fun, friendly and knowledgeable and shared so many interesting stories of their personal explorations of this massive cave system.

Best boat tour of a cave Ive been on. Knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Cave thunder and the moon room were highlights. About an hour long, you can also usually see blind cave fish and mud bugs, which we did. Well worth admission, the entire tour is a boat ride which makes this one unique for me and I recommend it!

We had an amazing time at Bluesprings Caverns. Our tour guide was Grace, she was hilarious, and very fun. Between the cave, and mining we spent about 3 hours here. We will most definitely be coming back.

Pretty quick tour, great for little eyes and short legs (4 yr old). The hill to cave is steep, but the ride at is slow and relaxing. Grace was a great guide. Cant wait to come back.

Nice, clean place & a great short getaway. Our first water cave tour. Short but nice hiking trail (Tom, the Bluespring’s Cavern cat, tagged along with us, which had the family laughing). Could probably use more picnic areas/ benches (spread out) in the park area. They plan to offer a kayak tour later this year/ early next spring. Dillon, our guide, did a great job.

Loved this place grandchildren had a fun time there and tom the cave cat was very friendly and definitely need to get a cherry apple milk shake

We had a great tour with a small group. The tour guide shared personal stories as well as cave formation facts. His jokes added some extra enjoyment during the tour. We saw several white fish and translucent crawfish. The cool temperatures were a nice break from the hot day. The gift shop offers some fun activities and cool souvenirs. Remember to bring cash to tip your guide.

Visited the last weekend in June. GREAT way to get out of the summer heat.Very fun and informative tour. Guide answered any question posed to him. The cave itself, wasnt as impressive as others since the formations were pretty much non-existent. Still a tour worth my time!

The boat ride was awesome! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The walk to and from the boat is a steep one but worth it.

I am livid. I have been planning a trip to visit This cave & several others for over a month and the notice of the Caverns being closed on the DAY I was headed there (Oct. 7th for a private event) was only posted 8 hours ahead of the day?!?! I am now stuck with a wasted trip.

We went there a couple wkends ago, it’s a little over 2 hrs and they were not doing tours because the river was flooded. That would have been fine if they’d said that on the website when we checked 2 days before we drove all that way. And another couple from IL, said they called 20 min before they got there and were not told they were closed. I’d like to go back, but I’d be really PO’d a second time if there were no tours.

What is there not to love? It is a boat ride inside a cave? Really, thats it and that is enough. There are prettier caves and larger caves, but how many have boats you can ride through the cave on?

As is to be expected: No gift shop/inside open other than restrooms due to COVID-19, but the boat tour itself was good - pretty much what youd expect in a cave tour. The boat ride was extremely smooth and great for little kids in that sense. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well-maintained.

Looking for a quick weekend date with my wife when we found out about this place. We were both interested and Im sooo glad we went. They have sifting stations setup along a flowing water trough and you can purchase bags loaded with sand and gemstones or fossils and arrowheads. The staff were all friendly and engaging and thats not to even speak of the tour itself. Our tour guide Michael was very knowledgeable and entertaining as he took us through the underground river pointing out the albino blindfish and crayfish. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and cant wait to go back again.

We were unable to do the tour of the cave due to the water level being unsafe for the boat. I would recommend calling the day of your visit to make sure that it is open and available for use. The staff was very kind when they informed us of this and gave us other options for caves nearby. Nearby is about an hour away.

Called them and they said they were open and for us to come. Drove 4hours there, made it 4 hours before they closed and told us to turn around and go home. 8 hour drive for nothing. Its probably cool if your a local, but if you have to drive a distance your playing Russian roulette. Highly disappointed.

It was pretty nice and enjoying the cave was a plus. The hill was a struggle to get back up there it was worth it.

My family really enjoyed this. I have one eight year old high functioning autistic child and one seven year old child with ADHD. The caves were really an experience! They were really awed by the wonder of being so far underground and the mystery of it all. They rode in near silence which is very rare for them.One thing I did not like was the climb back out! Showed this out of shape, five month pregnant lady just how out of shape she was on her 30th birthday! But thats really my own fault.I also agreed with my guide, time really does slip away down there. Our tour felt like 20 minutes as opposed to an hour. Wish it could have went on longer!I didnt take any pictures because I didnt want to ruin our tour with all the flashing.

We loved this tour. The only thing we could ask for is a little more walking. Literally the entire cave is a river so you have to travel by boat. Nothing that could be done about that thought. The tour guide was fun and accommodating for our large family even with a fussy young one. We will definitely go back!

An interesting ride, worth a visit. The cave was formed by erosion of limestone from an underground stream. The stream was damned to deepen the water enough for a boat, giving those not inclined to walk through a cave the chance to experience it. The walls are coated in clay/mud with sections where the limestone shows through. Guides provide corny entertainment while sharing the history of the cave and the science around it.

Had a great time there today with my family. All the staff is really nice.

Spent 36 for me and my wife. I would suggest to have a tour for the adults that want to learn and listen and adults with children tour separate. Me and my wife couldnt hear anything about the cave at all. But we had a good time

Would not recommend this place at all! We drove an hour for tour stated on website ( you cannot make reservations) last boat was at 4, arrived at 2:30.. was told all the boats they were running today were full!!!

Went to Blue Springs Caverns for a Cub Scout overnight trip. Absolutely beautiful! A great experience. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We got to see cave animals on the boat ride and the gift shop had a lot of unique souvenirs. It was an experience that I will remember!

Interesting cave tour via boat. Short in comparison to other cave tours, but our guide (Grace) was an absolute delight. She was funny and knew a lot about the cave system. In all, it was a nice, cool activity for a hot summer afternoon.

Micheal the guide really is what made the tour fun. Funny chasier at the shop too.Its a relaxing boat ride through a dark cave with small wildlife swimming oe resting near the boat. Worth the $ because of the length and how calm it turned out.

Beautiful place! However if you have anxiety like me... Im going to let you know now, this is not the place for you. I couldnt be more excited about getting back to land lol.

Great place to take Scouts. In the winter they have an overnight package for Groups. Plan to get dirty, it is just part of the caving experience.

Nice local venue. Tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Boat ride was fun, but might want to bring a light jacket as it is cool in the cavern. Walk into cave from building is long and steep. May be challenging for elderly and little ones or those with physical challenges. Was a cool summer treat.

While the cave doesnt have the formations of some others, it does offer a fun, easy ride with some unique geology along the way. Funny tour guides and an expansive gift shop made this a great repreive from the summer heat.

Being closer to Indianapolis than the other Caverns was why we went there. Nice gift shop. Amazing experience to take a boat thru the cave, see the cave life, experience pitch black darkness for a minute, feel the wind coming from other caves, etc. The guide was knowledgeable and told fun stories of exploring the cave system beyond the main river. Highly recommend.

Amazing place, well worth the price of admission. Boat trip is about 50 minutes. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed this place. Gift shop isnt spectacular, but the staff is awesome as is the tour.

Very interesting, the main attraction is the under ground river,they give tours with electric powered boats water is very clear.

Great experience! The tour was interesting and it was an extremely unique adventure. As mentioned in previous posts, this is not a place to get in any hiking, but thats OK. There are other places around the area to hike before or after. The boat trip through the caves is why to go. Very worth the trip.

Loved it! Not many typical cavern formations, but is a very unique caving experience. Our tour guide was Grace and was very funny as well as informative. Very glad we made the time to visit Bluespring Caverns

They require a face mask on the boat threw the caverns. Even if you have tour full of people not wanting to wear mask they still require it.

This was a great tour. The guide was super personable and made the tour even better. We made it the day before they had to close due to high water. The gem mining is the best experience weve ever had with lots of gems and a surprise fossil!

Perfect trip for a hot day or a really cold one. All of the employees are very knowledgeable and so much fun. We cant wait to go back again!

Amazing adventure! The boat lost power and we ended up using our seat cushions to paddle our way out. My son was disappointed that he didnt see any hot cave mermaids. Maybe next time The giant bags for gem mining are a great deal at $20. If you have a bunch of ADHD kiddos they will get bored after 5 minutes and you can do it yourself to help your special kiddos.

Hadnt been here since I was a kid with scouts. Cave looks just as pristine as it did then. Guide was atticus, he was really good.

A unique place to visit. The tour is fun and well worth taking. The guide is funny and can answer most any question. Id like to stay over night in the area setup for camping in the cave.

The moment I stepped out of the car I knew this place would be great. Atmosphere is very cool from the flowing water out front to the rocks and bits of history inside the shop. My tour guide Henry was such a happy and sweet person who greeted me with an immense amount of calmness and content. It was very refreshing. He was also incredibly knowledgeable on caving and the cave itself was incredible. I would definitely go again to see if theres any changes or maybe see a bat.

This is an excellent tour. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The cavern itself is absolutely natural. No graffiti. And groups are small so everyone can get their questions answered.
