I was born and raised in this park and its beauty continues to bring me back as an adult. There are over 20 miles of hiking trail, 12 of which are open to off-road cycling/mountain biking (called Bedford Singletrack), and about 8 can be used for horse riding. There are 2 feature waterfalls, as well as a few hidden ones. There are 4 large picnic areas, some of which can be reserved. Finally, there is an all purpose path that runs through a majority of the reservation for walking, running, cycling, and whatever else! Overall, its a great place to be outdoors.

Loved it, beautiful scenery. why didnt I know about this place when I lived within the city. I took my dog there for the water.

Went to the wrong side of the river looking for the falls, and Im so glad we did. Absolutely gorgeous way to spend one of our last mild days of the fall.

Arguably the most well maintained single track in northern Ohio! These MTB trails are awesome... fun and fast with enough technical sections to keep even seasoned pros interested. 12.5 miles for the full loop but you can make it much shorter with various cut offs along the way. If you are coming for the first time I highly recommend downloading an app like mtb project or single tracks to help you navigate the trail system, it can be a little confusing and you may miss some great trail if you don’t know your way around. Shawnee Golf course is in Excellent Shape!

Great hidden gem. Makes you feel like youre not in Ohio anymore. Have to hit the trail and see some amazing rushing water. Tinker river falls is a sight to see make sure you find the easiest trailhead for your desired hike. See some brilliant engineering feats in the man made viaducts.

All ways a nice place to ride and check out the scenery.

I love it here. I dont understand why teens think a nature reservation is a great place to scream and yell in the parking lot with their car systems up all the way for hours. I agree with the other reviewer who said he wouldnt want to leave his car for long. Its a shame bc the area is beautiful.

I would say if you have a chance you need to check this out. Bedford reservation is a very beautiful area they have creeks hiking horseback riding. And a golf course. They also have a few designated areas for picnics volleyball and other stuff. I would strongly suggest you visit. The golf course is called Shawnee it has 18 holes and a driving range.

Another great part of the Metroparks. Hiking and biking trails (paved and singletrack). Bridle trails. Pavilions with tables and grills. They post trail closures daily, on Twitter and their website.

Starter is really grumpy. Course was backed up all day. Easy to lose balls in the trees.
