This is our go to local park for a nice walk and to see the sunset. Well done, Bedford.

Quiet lake side. Theres currently construction going on around and near the lake so it limits passing through. The wildlife is a lot of fun and other park attendees seem to be very courteous on the walking path.

Every time we visit our friends near this park, we go for a walk after dinner. The place is nice and clean and makes for a nice walk.

A first time visit and I was impressed. This Lake should be called a hidden gem. Surrounded by manicured neighborhoods, and well kept.A great family outing, or a first time date, heck a picnic day with your spouse. Either way its beautiful.

Nice to watch the ducks around the lake and soak up the sun. There is some construction starting so there are fences being erected around the lake.

I love this park. Ive been going there now for almost 40 years.

This is a good little park with a trail around a pond in the middle. Plenty of space for kids to play on one side with picnic tables, and two fishing piers on the other side. I feel that the pond water could be better maintained, it is stinky and there is a gross film on top.

BBR has just about anything you could want in a park: picnic areas, large pond with 2 fountains and lots of ducks, a one-mile paved trail, 6 public tennis courts, restrooms, playground, a small disc golf course, rec center, plenty of parking, and more. Scheduled for major renovations soon, though. Bedford Splash will be expanded. Arts building will be demolished. Well see what it looks like after all the changes.

Walking around the pond is so relaxing. They also have benches and picnic tables around the pond to enjoy.

Starting next month (October) there will be construction, but we love walking the path.

A wonderful park. We really enjoy taking our dog there for walks. It feels safe even after sundown. Great place to play pokemon go! There are multiple gyms and pokestops and it rotates as a nest. It has a playground for kids, a lake for fishing, disc golf course, tennis courts, basketball hoops, and multiple covered spots for gatherings, a rollerball court, and soccer fields.They are closing it for construction and rebranding starting Oct 12, 2020. Hopefully it comes back even better although I dont know how theyd make it better than it is.

Took my 3 and 5 year olds to fish the Friday 8/7. Had caught some sunfish then finally caught 2 decent sized bass! Boys were ecstatic. Had lots of bites and highly recommend . Bathrooms were closed due to covid. Lots of what Ill call pond grass/algae looking stuff that I dont know what to call it near the walls. But were still able to catch plenty.

Lots to do ducks everywhere and can find you a nice soulmate their also... lots of pokemon stops and gyms

Lots of great amenities and views. A very large duck pond. They have a roller skating rink and everything else you can ask for in a park. Plus a great Rec Center and a community Water Park.

Great place to come and exercise or just relax with the family or dog. 9 Hole Disc Golf Park, fishing, baseball and soccer fields, roller hockey, pavilions with charcoal grill to use. All around a great place!

Great park despite its small size. Aside from the rec center and pool, theres a nice lake with a trail for walking or jogging. The people we encounter there are very nice. Oh yeah, and theres plenty of pokestops and a few gyms!

Beautiful walking trail around a large lake. Nicely landscaped and peaceful spots. Lots of sports areas, rec center, and even a little water park. Enjoy!!!

Great place to go to see fireworks on the Forth of July.Just one thing If your actually looking for a lake of ranch youll need to keep going past the light about a quarter mile or so. Theres a Kroger with plenty of ranch, and if thats not enough, across the street is a Dollar General and a Big Lots. All together still wont be near enough ranch of course, but it should get you through the day. Stay strong Ranchers!Ranch Cream

Its a lovely park in my neighbourhood. Lovely to have an afternoon run or just a relaxed walk about.

Very relaxing. Clean. Quiet. Good picnic areas in shade, nothing but full sun when fishing.

I love bringing my son here just to walk around. The park is well kept and clean.

Tons of walking trails and a nice lake only downfall is in the spring there are ducks and duck poop everywhere

The current phase of the beautification had done a great deal for the dock pond area. The addition of the fishing docks was a prime idea.

Its decent larger than some but I would not call it a lake, its a pond

I went for a festival put on by the city and I enjoyed the park. I loved the view of the pond and how the park is built around it. The park allowed my 6 year old son something to do while others in my group were able to do their own thing.

It looks very dirty,I wont let my dog drink from it.BBR is a beautiful place,my family goes there often.Ppl catch fish in the lake and the ducks love it,was there last night and it was very clean,no trash anywhere. Thanks Bedford.

I grew up here at this park. I remember walking here when I went to Shady Brook Elementary.

Nice park lake smells like sewage

Playgrounds arent open and restrooms are closed but people seem to use both anyway. Mostly people using the bathroom in front of the locked door.

Went walking with the family. Going to start making this an everyday thing. If you go early enough you beat most of people and pretty much have the place all to yourself. Well and the ducks, lol.

BEAUTIFUL PARK!! Watched the Sunset today while laughing with Family and Friends. I couldnt ask for more. The setting was perfect.

Disc golf and feeding the ducks so much fun

Ive play disc golf here twice. Its a little 9-hole. The whole area is well maintained and people have been very friendly. It seems relatively quiet both times I have went, but there wasnt a lot of people. Picturesque would be a great word to describe it!

Very nice relaxing little spot to go for a walk, take your dog, or spend time with your kids. Its maybe a mile off of Bedford Road but feels like a secluded little soot

Great little pond for fishing, lots of blue gill and some large mouth bass, I have yet to catch any catfish (if there are any, lol) Only complaint I have is the kids and adults chasing and trying to catch the baby ducks.

The kids love to walk around the pond and watch the ducks. The playground is large and updated for most ages.

Great park. They redid it over the last couple years. Very nice place to go and walk or run or relax. Also have frisbee golf if you are into that.

Beautiful park thats great for walking (or playing pokemon go) I enjoy the geese and ducks. Be better if people didnt let their trash accumulate in the water around the edges though and the womens bathroom is always gross

Nice place to take a walk. I take my 2 and 1 year old here all the time to see the ducks and play on the playground, its a good setup. theres frisbee golf if your in to that and Pokemon-Go people come wandering around most days.

Clean, fun and perfect for events. We often have parties here and have never had a problem with anyone bothering us or being in our spot. Very well maintained

Lots of space and lots to do. Frisbee golf, tennis, soccer fields, recreation center, picnic areas, clean restrooms. Arts center has painting and writing groups on Saturday morning. Bedford Splash is a good water park for smaller children, but not great for adults and teens because its small. Plenty of free parking.

My husband and I love this place. It has a nice walking path around the entire park. It has a creek running through it and a nice pond with ducks, geese, and turtles. It has a great playground for kids. Theres a water park, gym, playhouses, art Center and several pavilions.

It is starting to look nice for this summer. I just do not care for the policy regarding the ducks. Yeah, the let them starve and not be able to get into the lake. But there are plenty of turtles. City council.

BEDFORD CITY SERIOUSLY NEED TO UPGRADE THE BASEBALL DUGOUTS, SAFETY NETTING TO PROTECT THE SPECTATORS AND ESPECIALLY THE SPECTATORS SEATI G AREAS...THEY HAVENT CHANGED IN OVER 20 YEARS, SADLY!!!!
