Very pretty falls. The hike down was not bad but involved stairs & hills. There are nice overlooks to see falls but many people were in the water & a bit obnoxious. We walked down to riverbank & over a good bit of rocky shoreline & found a quieter area to sit & enjoy the view. There are some pretty cascades nearer to the viaduct underneath. You can brave the path and go inside. The falls were awe inspiring & were flowing great. There are benches at the top near the parking area.
Beautiful falls here and we can access this Tinker Creek water easily. It has got paved path to go up and down near the falls. It s a small park but much beautiful due to waterfalls, paved and unpaved trails to Overlook, fun to watch flowing water. Easy to go there and have fun with family. It has got a great history.
What is not to like? A beautiful slice of nature. Accessible parking and walking paths ... mostly. There are a few places that I have only found access with stairs, but you can get close with the paths. Nice view of falls and a good place to watch the seasons change.
Viaduct park was wonderful. Short paths to the waterfall and the train arch. Outdoor areas for pic nics and lots of green space. I should have given this park a 5, probably shouldnt have penalized the park, but there were many people on the narrow paths without masks. I give those anti-maskers a 0 (zero).
This was a real treat, never would have known this place existed. Beautiful scenery. One tip, don’t bring a low profile vehicle; you basically have to drive over a curb to get to the entrance.
This was really nice! It was only a short walk down to the river from the parking lot. There were little paths to wander around, a mysterious tunnel, and a pretty waterfall. The river continued on top of the falls, shallow enough for a creek walk but with small pockets deep enough to take a dip and cool off!
Outstanding facilities you can walk around see the falls from the top a ton of historic markers everywhere it explains the very first power company for the tree City Bedford Ohio there are ruins that you can enjoy and places just to sit down and enjoy a picnic lunch probably one of the best parks Ive ever been in well kept and beautiful scenery
Absolutely beautiful!! Easy access. Definitely a surprise for being in the middle of the city
To say this place is spectacular is an understatement. Not sure how I came across this to want to visit, but I think it was a YouTube video. We had the park entirely to ourselves on a chilly December afternoon. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The waterfall is bigger than I thought. The viaduct is really neat. There is ample parking lot for 15-20 vehicles. The path to the waterfall is a moderate hike on a paved trail. Plenty of signage to read about the history. The only negative I have is that for such a nice place to visit, there was no picnic tables or restroom facilities. Will definitely stopped back in the summer.
Very pretty and impressively clean! I suggest walking to several different spots and looking around instead of just staying in one area. Theres also a great big rock to jump into the creek from. Loads of fun bring food and drinks and stay for a while.
I love this place... as a native of the area I grew up going here with friends and family and over the years they have made various improvements and it keeps getting better. And with the location being so close to Downtown Bedford it can make for a great date night.
Great little hike, easy for kids and adults. Very pretty. Lots of history to read about also.
Really excellent park located near Cleveland. Substantial parking, good facilities. Walkways are clear and appropriate for most age and activity levels; falls are beautiful. Access to waterline is ample.
This park could really be incredible. It needs some TLC. The setting and the falls are incredible.
Such a beautiful park with an amazing waterfall! Just the one trail that goes to the falls. It’s about a mile round trip.Facebook: ZenAdventuresInstagram: AdventuresZen
This is a very nice park with a paved walkway. Several spots to see the waterfall. Nice close quiet getaway. A hidden gem.
Beautiful area to enjoy with loved ones, or anyone that you have in your life
So peaceful here. The park is well kept. I really like this hidden gem!
Awesome views no matter the season as Tinkers Creek meanders through the rock lined waterway. Well maintained all throughout.
Short, accessible walk from parking lot to view the falls. Very nice.
This place is great and you can get up close to the bottom and top of the water fall. Super fun!
A beautiful park near the eastern Cleveland suburbs with a river running thru it and a 5 to 10 feet waterfall that has three branches .
This place was amazing. Go explore it more when warmer weather comes. N plus the history museum is up the street going check that out too.
The falls are AMAZING!
Difficult to access some of the features of the park, but very beautiful and fun to explore with friends
Truly loved it here. Nice trails & so much to explore!
This park is a stunning beauty! Do you like waterfalls? I do believe most people do and this one is spectacular. So close to the city too. Great paved path to the falls. The Overlook is perfect. You can get down by the creek easily. Also enjoyed the history of the area, learning about the former dam and mills.
Beautiful park. The waterfalls were awesome!
Fall is good. Mini fall, difficult to get to good location from where you can see it properly.
Great park with some train history and some sweet waterfalls. Kinda hidden away.
God Bless America Viaduct Park Rocks! If youre ever in the area and need a 15 minute break from your travels this is certainly a place for you to visit located in one of the best cities in America Bedford Ohio postal code 44146.
Very fun to go and swim or even try the natural water slide. Need to visit if you live waterfalls and nature.
Great hidden gem. Makes you feel like youre not in Ohio anymore. Have to hit the trail and see some amazing rushing water. Tinker river falls is a sight to see make sure you find the easiest trailhead for your desired hike. See some brilliant engineering feats in the man made viaducts.
Falls were beautiful. Not much room to park.
Ruins of an old village and an epic viaduct make this a great hiking spot
Lots to do hiking, beautiful spot, visited often in past.
Love to visit this place. Great in the morning!
My day off is Wednesday, so since Im not feeling well I decided to look for a park to visit and see if the fresh air helps. This is a very cozy place. Im sitting on log down by the river, as I write this.
Bedfords history began here as the power of the Great Falls of Tinkers Creek was harnessed between 1821-1913 for a saw mill, grist mill and electric power plant. Families such as the Benedicts, Willis, Gates, and others all left their mark on this important parcel.Hidden by time and muffled by the roar of locomotives, this area has been revitalized and opened in 2002 by a cooperative effort by Cleveland Metroparks and the City of Bedford. Walking paths, overlooks, and wayside panels help preserve the past and conserve the natural surroundings, while telling the story for future generations.
Pretty but only .5 mile trail....
Never knew this existed until I randomly found it recently. The view of the falls is great. Pet-friendly trail, but make sure your dog is leashed and away from the edges.
Very nice waterfall that only takes about five minutes to walk to.The waterfall was the only part of the park I went to.Even if thats all you do,its worth it.
This was a very nice park. A short walk down into the gorge
Simple short hike with great view of tinker falls
I was rather frightened. This is not a place for those who have mobility problem, even though the water falls made for a nice view & video. I would not suggest this place for those who have trouble remaining upright.
Beautiful falls and trail. Great relaxation for the whole family!
A lot of forests. Great place to take the family and have a peaceful picnic and hike.
Nice park with picnic tables and water fall.
This place was beautiful! A brilliant outing for me and my daughter!
Nice small park with many informational signs. The history of the area is fascinating!
Went for the waterfall but that area has so much more to see and learn about! Must see and I will be back.
Beautiful place with a history behind it.
It was ok. I was expecting a longer trail with waterfall views. Nice falls
Beautiful park to explore during any season. Great Falls of Tinkers Creek is breath taking. Paved trails make for easy access.
Beautiful little park with lots of history. Short but paved walking path, good for strollers or those with mild mobility issues though there is a slight incline on the way back up. Beautiful waterfalls.
Short walk with scenic views of river, waterfalls, cliffs, ruins of mills, and masonry tunnel and viaduct.
Super Pretty! You have to walk a little but is beautiful. History everywhere.
Lovely waterfalls! This place is a real gem! A little hard to find, GPS brings you close, but if you find the viaduct you are there! Nice walk down and back to the falls!
Out of the way location. Small park, but well maintained. Nice walk downhill to the waterfall area; high overlook at the top. Pretty with the fall leaf colors.
Beautiful place, near home. I will be going again.
Great experience for me and my wife
Nice, leafy trails to explore. Just about perfect to take a 5 yo to. A good number of historic signs to tell you about what used to be there. It is a little tucked away, but worth seeking out. If you have child (or adult) who is into trains then you can watch them go by from the old train bridge.
Great view and overall a nice place to visit. 4 stars because there is always some graffiti on the rocks but most of the time it is taken care of by park staff.
Great trail to view the Tinkerton Falls
Beautiful area in a surprisingly urban location
Beautiful scenic waterfront!! Great place for family visit to explore and rock climb!
Very cool park! A quick walk back takes you to the falls.
The main attractions are the falls but here you have a little of everything. historical history walk, jog, trails, falls and the park. not much hiking in this area so if the locals want to getaway this is mainly it. the main attraction is the great falls and one of the reason i was here. the great falls is about 20 feet high with a 80 foot crest with a high water flow level. im sure its nice in the fall but im glad i saw in the winter. lucky i had a great January day to enjoy the park. just the right amount of people so i could get plenty of good shots. so if you are in the area and need a break from the traffic and dont want to walk miles to see a few waterfalls. this would be a great place to spend some time.
Graffiti and trash takeaway from the beauty
Cool little park. Not much hiking, but nice place to stroll along the water.
This is a fun park during both summer and winter. One of my favorites.
Short hike with beautiful waterfalls
Absolutely amazing place! If you love railroad history or natural beauty this area has both. And historical industrial history to boot.
This was an amazing little piece of nature and history. There are markers indicating historical facts related to the location. The train track being rebuilt and the old mill were some really cool stories. The walk wasnt lengthy to get to the good stuff either, highly recommend this for anyone who just needs a taste of nature.
Beautiful, calm, clean, and easy to get to
We had a great time climbing all threw the ravine there. We went threw Tinker falls to viaduct park and then back. We had a blast. Very beautiful and peaceful. I was impressed with how clean the water and park itself were. Its definitely a wild place and Id love to thank who ever has a hand in keeping it that way! Great work!!!
Beautiful waterfall, easy hiking trails and very clean.
Breathtaking
Dope local hideaway
Easy access to a beautiful park.
A great short hike and plenty for the kids to explore
I love to come and just listen to nature. I wish they would put some picnic tables down by the water so i could have a picnic there. They do have tables by the parking area but no shade there.
Great park. Easy access
This park is a nice place to hang out and kill time and also get a little history lesson about the early days at the waterfalls. There is also plenty of access to the river to cool off in the summer.
Beautiful and scenic
Great place to hike around on a day off. Clean trails, a bit slick down toward the bottom, but my 10 year old was able to navigate.
Okay. What a BEAUTIFUL place. I cant ever forget this. Im not from here so everything new was incredible. I love this place.
Beautiful! One of Gods many gifts to us! Good workout from parking lot to Tinkers creek and back. Very clean! Its always a pleasure to visit
Loved it. Beautiful place.
Beautiful place!
Great treat!
We had a long drive and took a nap in the car while parked here. Very peaceful and clean. The trail to the waterfalls are a must if your here. Glad we stopped. Loved how they had the history on plaques to read as you walked the path.
Beautiful scenery.
