Lovely park with a nice, paved walking trail around the small lake which people are sometimes fishing in. I have seen turtles there as well. There are quite a few ducks/geese and plenty of droppings as you might expect, but they tend to be mostly in the area near the pavilion. The pavilion has picnic tables and I believe bathrooms? If you play Pokemon Go you wont be disappointed by the number of gyms and Pokestops.

I love it here. They have lots of events for the neighborhood and families. My step son loved it. They have movie night. Plus swimming.

Beautiful Park. Although currently under renovation, the only downside of it is there is Basketball court.

The 9 hole par 3 disc course is a perfect way to work on fundamentals and up your confidence. Fun with just a few areas that increase in TECHNICALITY.

My dog loved walking around here and smelling all the smells back before outside got closed. The area with the bridges over the water is especially lovely.

If you believe in seclusion this is the place for you! Janelle that is in charge of the spring break brought all the kids to the public playground and informed all of her campers that they are not allowed to speak to or play with anyone else on the playground. I asked about it and was informed that it’s one of their rules. Why would you bring 7-8 year olds to a playground and not let them interact with the other kids? Parents try very hard to instill inclusion in to their kids and apparently it’s not something they believe in.

This has just about everything you would want in a park, except that many things are closed either because of the coronavirus or because the park is due to be renovated soon. Theres plenty of parking, 6 tennis courts, a mile long paved walking trail, a pond with ducks, a disc golf course, and more. There are baseball and soccer fields, but those are only for league play. The recreation building has basketball, ping pong, and more, but is probably closed due to the virus. Bedford Splash, a small water park, is closed for 2020 and due to be expanded. The theater, Arts building, and Senior Center are all closed because of the virus and probably wont survive the park renovation.

Half of this place is under construction and you cant even go all the way around the lake! Side walks are covered with duck feces!!

Have been coming to boys ranch for a Fourth of July celebration for many many years with my children. The only thing I can say that is not the same as they took out the sand volleyball court and thats a shame because the kids love that more than any of the other things such a swing slide and climb

My friend had a birthday party here for their child. There were plenty of tables and chairs for the large group and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Looks like a great place with an awesome pool in the summer as well.

It is no longer open for use. Being torn down and a new one being built.

A very nice and peaceful place for walk. Also you can have it is as a picnic spot for small reunion type function. I usually see people do it small functions, fishing, outings, enjoy sun and read book. There is also a attached 3 tennis court and a baseball field. There is also a child area with lots of swings and slides.

Tell you what my bf likes this place a lot he found a disc and that made his day

Great Park, has a hockey rink, open Fields for the dog to play in, disc golf, tennis, soccer, and baseball fields.. I heard theyre tearing the hockey rink out early September this year though and if that happens I will change this rating to a one-star.

The center was clean but it had an outdated, older feel to it. Small rooms and lower ceilings here contributed to the rating. I was here for meetings in March 2020. I did not go to gym or workout areas which looked pretty nice.

We went here for a cultural celebration. Its a nice area with parking, a big field as well as a little fountain with a creek that runs along its borders.

This is an absolutely beautiful Park. Easy accessible. We love it highly recommended

50+acre city park. Has a nice small water park for children, a small workout area in the gym, with meeting rooms. There is a well stocked pond for fishing. They have baseball fields and tennis courts. Volley ball pits and a roller hockey court. The City holds its annual 4th of July event there.

Not a bad pond to fish, lots of folks moving around playing disc golf and enjoying the outdoors.

I dont know if I came onthat season for the boys ranch but they do not have any activities for infants or toddlers just for teenagers as they have a basketball court and the small office room for a gym that is a size of a closet maybe they are more suited for summer activities

Love the boys ranch. Location is perfect, many activities and a great event hall for rent.

This is a large open space with a playground, aquatic/splash park and other facilities for kids. The playground has all the usual equidment like slides and ladders, and a rope based climbing frame. A small stream backs around the playground diving the park, with equally small bridges.

I absolutely love this park. We get to sit and have lunch. The kids get to play their little butts off and the best part is the walk around the pond and all the turtlesand ducks. There is also a lot of shaded areas that you can sit or stand to stay cool if its hot.

Public park with great running/walking path. During the summer months, the Bedford Splash pool is great to visit. The ducks and geese live near the lake year-round.

4th of july here since I was a kid has been a blast. the roller hockey rink has some fun memories and the gym has always been a place to go relax and enjoy the cold air during the summer months. The pond is redone and looks amazing. good just bedford.

I think is perfect for the whole family on any outdoor occasion.

Always a great place to visit for over 50 years. The grounds have been kept up and in use and a nice compliment to the neighborhood and something the people of Bedford have taken pride in. There have been severl Sports Camps held here during the Summer over the years, and Swimming in the Pool, Scools have had their end of School Parties here. There have been Art & Dance Classes held here in the Past as well as Plays, and Craft Festivels. A rich history has taken place here. With much more to come.

It’s a nice park for families or couples if they just wanna walk around for a bit or just jogging by the canal.There is a tinned area with plugs and washroomAnd there is a small play ground for the kids but it’s far from the bathrooms

They have a very good playground and the pool is fantastic. Pool is staffed with ample lifeguards. But they have other facilities there, I just havent used anything else.

They lie about open gym, it says open gym Mon Wed and Fri but they always have Jazzercise, so the open gym is a lie

I love the park but the bathrooms are atrocious. Im not sure if it was this way before all the new attention from Pokemon players but when I go with my girlfriend, she makes me drive her to the closest gas station to use the restroom rather than to use the bathroom there. This definitely needs attention. The best part is that I get safe the entire time I was there... Even when I was there til midnight.

Im not sure of all what they have to offer but they do offer dance classes they do offer many things they have a nice walking Track theyve got the Chisholm park right behind it over there where you can go and walk they have many different activities during the year they have the Fourth of July fireworks show so its a good place lot of things are free there

Great place

This Pokemon go thing is out of control!! Its like the walking dead for real!! People aimlessly walking around paying attention to pretty much nothing at all. I cant explain the feeling when you look around (and mind you youre at a nature park), and literally I saw less than 20 people who werent face first into their phones. Thats out of many of hundreds!! Totally ruined the whole experience and really creeped out my entire family and I. Again unless youve been there and seen it for yourself I cant really explain how uneasy the feeling is. Put your phones down zombies and enjoy what God created, isnt that why you came to the park in the first place?

Great lake with fun disc golf course -just be careful of the last holes water hazard! The Boys Ranch facility hosts lots of great events as well from Valentines to Halloween to more. Still a great place to play Pokemon Go, as well. Go check it out!

Very nice park, it has been re-done

This place has so many memories for me. So much things happened at this place. On Saturdays, they have this party thing for kids. Its so litt and fun. They have a big park and gym inside. A waterpark included too. I totally would recommend this place for birthday parties or just a simple hangout with friends or family.

Good place to walk dogs, there are bag stations as well as dog friendly water fountains. The fountains, usually the one near the playground, seem to be clogged a lot though so I find myself avoiding them and just bringing water with me. Good scenery though and my dog seems to enjoy the smells.

The City of Bedford has transformed this place. I used to go here and was not impressed we frequent it for baseball games now and I love it the tennis courts have been redone and the entire Lake intro area is amazing... Definitely check it out

I believe this facility serves as part of the Bedford Recreation Center. There is a blacktop for roller hockey that sits off by itself. There is a nice pond where there are always ducks and geese. People fish, but I dont know what they catch. There are a couple of pavilions for birthdays. The pond has a well kept sidewalk for walking all the way around it.Since Pokemon Go started, the place has been extremely crowded. Now, you will find food trucks and vendors pretty often.

This is one of my familys favorite places to do almost anything! We celebrate the 4th here, we celebrate birthdays at Splash... we come to the festivals and we play at the park on pretty days. We are here as I type this review!
