I have not been to many Michaels before. So, I am not sure how the selection at this store matches up to other stores. However, I was extremely impressed by the people working here. Every one of them, with whom I interacted, was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. If that is their usual mode of operation, I would highly recommend this store to anyone who has a lot of questions going in and wants friendly people to help them find answers.

Someone told me to check Michaels for gel pens. I finally found a very small selection and the best set was $45 for 20 pens! I was like ah hell no! I went across the street to Target and found the EXACT same pen set for $22! Thats a HUGE difference to me! Thought you should know!

It was vary clean they have a wonderful Christmas sale going on All Christmas stuff is on sale at least 50% off

I go in there and the lady was very helpful: I got mask supplies. I have to alter every mask Ive ever purchased to make it reach around my big fat head.

Thought they were going out of business! Half the shelves were empty. The discount section was full. Actually found a few items we wanted to purchase but when we made it to the register (we were the only people there) the cashier told us we came to the register the wrong way and would have to go all the way around. We were in front of her and asked if she was serious. She was. We left. Called the manager to share our experience (Ron?) but he didnt seem too concerned. Wont be back. Take our money to to the other Michaels (or even JoAnns!)

The manager here was really nice. Was looking for frames that were not in stock and he informed me when and how to reach out when a new shipment arrived just before the sale ended. It was a simple gesture but much appreciated.

The frame shop is top notch and the rest of the staff is great too. But mostly the frame shop, great people doing quality work.

Great pricing and selection. The sales associate was so helpful. She was able to grab a few buns for me that was boxed up and not on the shelves.

Great selection for all the art supplies I needed with my children. Plus the clearance items were amazing this time round. Foam airplanes for a dollar, I know theyre going to keep the kids entertained for hours.

It was amazing! I got everything that i needed! I called and had great service, they put it on hold for me and i picked it up in less than 30 minutes. They had wide variety of drawing supplies and it was amazing. 10/10 would go here again.

Its ok..its kind of in a raggedy little parking lot but the inside is decent. The staff is pretty good but nobody seems enthusiastic about being there. Theyre def willing to help but, again, not very enthusiastic. Im not one to need someone to jump through hoops for me but I dont want to get the impression I may be inconveniencing you somehow either. Theyre also often out of stock on some of the liquitex colors that i use so...

I like this store in particular because its bigger than the others and their holiday merchandise gives lots of options. This visit though there were a lot of empty shelves and their clearance hasnt been as good as it has in the past. I miss the already framed art for purchase also. Cant wait for the Halloween display.

Good, but they have already moved on from Halloween and put out their Christmas decor. Theres more of it Im the store than Thanksgiving and Halloween combined at be this point.

Long lines and poorly laid out floor plan for the store. Products located in multiple spots makes it difficult to shop and compare. No one cares Im sure but if I have to carry 1 product across the store to compare with the similar products then Im gonna be lazy and leave the one I dont want behind. I.e. Im not taking it back and thats going to create more work for your employees. Im not proud about this but Im not happy I have to do it either.

Good place, very big, nice workers! They only issue Id say they have, which is actually small, some stuff, not many, has been stolen/bent/broken from other customers. Thats not the stores fault thats on the people who steal.

Placed an online order for store pickup. Got an email when it was ready. Called when I arrived, pulled up to front of building, popped the trunk and they put items in my trunk. Very simple and no contact. One item I needed was not in stock and they shipped to me. Only complaint was I needed to pay shipping even though I had placed a large order.

Best variety of beads and crafts for many things a person may thing of doing.

Super boring store, everything is overpriced and the items that you really need are impossible to find among the array of similar items, different brands, for some reason shelved in various places, and not in one specific section. Will never go there again.

I want super thrilled with this one. Not a lot of in store withers to help us find what we were looking for. And we had trouble finding it because it wasnt organized well at all. Otherwise, its a pretty big Michaels, so they have a bit more product than a typical Michaels.

Took my daughter and my great-granddaughter to Michaels my great-granddaughter is an artist she got everything she needed and wanted my daughter is decorator she got what she needed and I just enjoyed the shopping with him very nice place

I dropped off an extra large, extra expensive print of Oregon to have framed using a discount code, the Michaels frame Staff was friendly, patient and worked with me to get the perfect frame for my print. Due to circumstances out of their control the staff completed the framing a few weeks after the agreed upon date, because of this one of the staff members (Jessica) personally delivered the finished framed work to my home in Hood River Oregon over an hour and a half drive from the store. Now thats customer service! Thank you!

This Michaels has a hood assortment of craft and hobby materials. Its a bit on the small side and feels like a really old store. The associates are friendly and knowledgeable. The parking lot has ample parking.

Come on... Its Michaels! What isnt there to love?! Craft supplies... Love them... And holiday decor for every season. And just unique finds to decorate my house year round. And if you ever get the opportunity to get one of their $5 grab bags... Grab it. They are usually filled with so many items that are useful and fun and worth a tremendous amount more than the $5. I can spend a ridiculous amount of time in these stores every time I go.

We have been to this store about six times in a 3 month period, trying to get some pictures framed. Although the staff are helpful, and, we were refunded the purchase price for a print, it took six tries for them to get our pictures framed appropriately, including the aforementioned print that was damaged during their efforts. Even if the staff were very pleasant and helpful, I am very dissatisfied with the experience and dont intend to return there for framing in the future.

They havent gotten any shipments to restock their acrylic paint colors. Im sure its just due to Covid19.

It is a fairly standard Michaels. The location was a bit older and run down, but the store inside was clean. We went about a week before Christmas, and the shelves were a bit bare. Thankfully, they had what we were looking for, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the store was full of people and they only 2 registers open, and the line stretched back into the store. Well give them another shot after the holidays.

Wow was this place popular this year. Lots of seasonal Xmas items gone. Staff was helpful with directions. Got what I needed. Check out went quick.

I was picking up yarn for my wife and had no idea what I was doing. The staff was exceptional. They checked the lot number on the yarn so it matched and even carried the multiple skeins of yarn to the front for me. While Im not a craft kind of guy Id definitely recommend this store for their exceptional customer service.

Well its a big box full of a preponderance of crafting supplies. The staff is really friendly. Plenty of parking. Located next door to a sewing machine repair shop.

They arent the biggest most well stocked Michaels Ive been too but they have a nice assortment of things. The fancy paper stock was pretty empty when I went, but I still found enough to complete this for my daughters birthday. I also love the coupons they offer.

I went to buy some yarn. They have a good selection, and the store was orderly and well organized. The line was a little long but it was a Saturday so its to be expected.

I visited this Michaels location today (5/16) from out of town and didn’t know it was curbside pickup only. Jake (sales associate) went above and beyond to help me. Since the online order would have taken 3+ hours to make it into the system he gathered my items for me on the spot. This saved me 2hrs is driving back to town on another day. Thank you Jake for making an exception for me and saving me a lot of headache.

This os my go-to place for giving gifts. I always pick up a basket from here to put gifts in they are almost always 50% off and make gift giving just a little more enjoyable.

Michaels is Great when you need a specific the thing. Craft that bugs and picture frames for me. Every once in a while I just need something that I can only get there.

A bit frustrating, went there the other day just to get a small item. There was only 2 checkers, and about 5 people in line. When all of a sudden one of the checkers says after she checked out the last person. Oh I have to go on my break leaving her co worker to handle the rest of us. The frustrating part was there by this time only 2 of us left. I dont know why this mindless checker couldnt just checked us out. I had only 1 thing and the elderly lady behind me also only had 1 thing. We had to wait for another checker to come which was somewhere far away. Taking him some time to get to the front. Then his scanner didnt work. Its just common sense a COMMON COURTESY if you have only 2 people waiting with 1 thing each. Check em out sure your break isnt that important or at least wait for the back up. Ridiculous...

Michaels has a large variety of reasonably priced items for crafters. You can usually find what you want there, and make sure you get on their email so you can receive their fantastic coupons

It is my go to because it is the closest to my place but I am not lucky with the staff every time I have questions.... The last time I was there I asked 3 staff members where were their cotton yarns like Sugar n Cream type of thing. The 3 of them said they dont have cotton yarns (????) and the last one said I should check the store by next to them (fabric store). When I went there the staff was laughing saying is not the first time Michaels send people there looking for yarns and things they DO carry there. Maybe they are just lazy to look for it?!?! I dont know.... But if you need help with something just drive a little more and go to another location, they will probably help you better.

Great customer service. This time I went to the custom framing in the back, Jason was at the counter and he helped us see what was best for us. Custom frames are expensive. Michaels has a wide range of options for cheaper simple frames you put your items in, that still look good, But the custom frames can make your photos/paintings look so much better.

This is a pretty good location for sales. I often find the very last of something in the sale area at a great discount.

This is the largest Michaels that Ive ever been in. Id say the best option for craft needs anywhere in Beaverton and Hillsboro.

This is an average Michaels, generally clean but also very often under stocked and with very few employees available or knowledgeable.

Go in to the store and find what I need. Come to register where the ONLY cashier sends prior customer to her car for something and is now unable to help anyone else. That woman was nowhere to be seen in the near empty lot as I left, either.

This store has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Today there was a line of around 45 people and only two cashiers. They have 7 REGISTERS. Finally I get up in the line to a rude, grumpy lady that does NOT look happy!! Every time I go to this store I see a bunch of scowling faces that seem to hide from the customers rather than help them. Get it together Beaverton Michaels!

Michaels is a great store with a ton of great hobby and craft supplies and decorations. I recently decided to get into bookbinding and came in for some supplies and was pleasantly surprised to find they had most of what I was looking for.Unfortunately they dont sell cloth, which was a bummer but other than that I was able to find pretty much everything I needed.Their prices are also quite good and they always have coupons on their app. Remember to download the app before you go to pay! They almost always have some kind of awesome deal going on.

The only place I was able to find photo boxes. They make excellent gift boxes and look cool (they had some cute designs) I have yet to find other stores that sell photo boxes. It seems they have fallen out of favor

I can always find something I need when I shop here! They have a huge inventory of items for anything creative do you want to make. But be ready for low employee appearance, as not many are working, so hard to find help. The cashier was nice and found a coupon for me to use for a couple bucks off.
