From the outside the place looks great. I had a personal interest in the visit, I went to visit the grave of Bishop Vincent Harris. He is my dads brother and I had not been there in years. Three of my siblings and myself were passing nearby and decided to go visit it. They have really made it nice.

Free to visit & park. Opens at 9AM. Felt totally welcome to come & visit and take pictures. Note that there is Mass at noon weekdays, other masses at other times, weddings & funerals as well. It took me 3 trys to visit just to look.

THe Basilica is Beautiful, the people were very nice to us. Usually as travelers most people ignore us but these people were very hospitable. We enjoyed Mass and the Celebration of the Eucharist there.

Was a great Experience was lunch time and the people was kind and friendly they opened the cathedral for us and the cathedral was stunning. And very peaceful!

I drove by after work mid week. I thought the architecture was beautiful. I spoke with a priest out for a walk and he was kind and invited my wife and i to come by for Mass. The next available time we will make plans.

The Handels Messiah concert at St. Anthonys Basilica is an annual Christmas favorite. Come a full hour early to choose your seat. The acoustics are amazing and the architecture is a masterpiece.

They had signs outside dos and donts we made a way inside the church on a Monday was very very nice if this is the thing you like cathedrals must see

St Anthonys Cathedral Basilica is beautiful, serene, comforting. I spent about 45 minutes enjoying its environment and came away much refreshed. We came to Beaumont specifically to visit St. Anthonys. It is well worth the effort

Its a stunningly beautiful celebration of God our father.

The beauty and peace of the cathedral are indescribable, and the love that Monsignor has for God and for all Gods children is obvious and a real thing of beauty in itself.

I can not really rate this place as we never got in. We only wanted to see the church as I love to look at church architecture everywhere I go. The sign says locked on the doors but go to the rectory to be let in. Never found it. Such a disappointment.

My father was dying of cancer and I came here to be close to God and light a candle for my dad and cherish the beauty and Holiness of St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica....God comforted me here....The inside of the Basilica is incredibly Beautiful with Rich paintings over the walls...The blue stained glass windows are breath taking

If youre visiting Beaumont, St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica is a must-see! It is one of the most beautiful Catholic churches Ive ever seen (and Ive been to most in the diocese). Everywhere you look inside the Basilica, there are elegant artistic flourishes, Latin prayers and representations of our faith. The focal point is a breathtaking, full color painting of Christ, Mary and the disciples spanning the wall behind the altar. My favorite is a snow white dove (the symbol for the Holy Spirit) that hangs suspended from the pinnacle of the dome.

Not use to catholic churches but it was very good do to the event of the day. Bishop was good with his word. Songs were wonderful, people were very friendly.

Well worth anyones time to plan a side trip to see and attend, for a look back in history, or to refresh and feed their Spiritual soul during Lifes journey.
