It was 15 degrees out, December 18 2019. I did not properly dress for the weather which is my own fault. I went in to see if they had some hand warmers for sale and got ignored until a very nice cop gave me an extra one he had on him (bless his heart). I just needed a warm place to activate the hand warmers for a few minutes before going back outside. Instead I got yelled at by the lady working to go back outside (I was causing zero harm). Only minding my own business. I just find it interesting that they call themselves a welcoming center... when they’d treat a freezing 16 year old like that.
Its fine. Good place to grab a water on a hot day. Museum currently closed. Very small exhibit but it youre in the store you might as well visit the museum (when open). Its just a few displays in one small room but a couple of props for photos ops.
If you are new in town or need to find information on whats nearby, and I dont mean just in Battle Creek but within that part of Michigan, then you should stop by this place. The staff is very helpful, friendly and not only provides you with maps and printed info but also makes great recommendations from a locals perspective.
It was okay. Very informative. Seemed like someones hobby of collecting Kellogg items turned into a business. The bathrooms are clean. Not what i expected for a welcome center.
Mostly a pamphlet display and nic Nack shop. Person there was very nice but not particularly knowledgeable. Clean rest room, interesting cereal display. Road work on Jackson Street makes it hard to find.
Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful locally made items for purchase, as well as other memorabilia.
Great welcome center
