We love this park, which includes a welcoming, well maintained play set for the kids (with two swings), a skate park area for boards and bikes alike, and a well maintained, clean tennis court. Theres also areas to BBQ (bring your own grill) and tables and benches are available. Plus, if you bring you bike, those 5-10 will be able to ride freely and safely thanks to fencing near to Old Hammond Hwy.

Nice clean playground. The canal running behind it is clean and attractive. Decent fishing if you feel so inclined.

It was great to be somewhere that the children were actually being children and there are multiple places to shop within the area

Great for kids. Skatepark is completely neglected. The ramps all have lip lift and the random Woodward ramp is completely falling apart. The box has lip lift and doesnt make much sense for skateboarding.

This place is well shaded...which is a must in South Louisiana! There are lots of interesting hills, clean play equipment that is in good shape and a small skate park. Four stars only because the grass needs to be better maintained and no bathrooms.

I come here for a calm place to skate, as an alternative to the big Perkins park. Its small, but more private. Only gripe is the one water fountain is far from the skate area and usually warm. Oh, and no restroom.

For some reason I never feel safe there. It is as if you are taking a chance by being there. You cannot be seen from the street. I use park because of the shade for walking the dog - but feel it is a risk so dont go that often.

Quiet and shady urban park adjacent to the north branch of Ward Creek, where one can see many birds, butterflies, fish, and turtles. Main features include a small but fun playground, several picnic benches, accessible walking trail, tennis court, small skate park, many trees, and some natural areas. No restroom.
