We love to walk out here. There is plenty to see. A lot of endangered animals and plants. Wonderful, natural habitat! And so close to home.
Like what they are doing out there.Restoring the native habitat, replanting plants and trees.Used to be oil fields, not that long ago.
Who set the clump of trees out there on fire the ones on the right as you walk through the fence?
Really nice little preserve area near the Kern River. Good trails for walking.
I have found that this is a good location to take my dogs out and get some exercise myself with a little jog and being able to be at one with nature the only downside I have found that there is not much shade and getting to the water to cool off seems to be kind of difficult as well
Run. Saunter. Bring your dogs. Bring your kids. Stay on the blacktop path. Explore the dirt trails. Climb the hills to get your heart pumping. Its a great place to walk.
I dont love it I just like it better than most
Words escape me...but this place ...serene, amazingly Quiet, you can walk slowly, hear thue birds sing, actually......almost hear God!...I wrould suggest...look down closely at the tapestry at your very feet! .you may the music..of silence!
A good place to bird watch and walk dogs. single women should not go here alone. do not go at night. homeless camps abound here and have a notorious reputation
Great place to hike, bicycle, or ride horses.Very peaceful out here.
Like what they have done with this area which would otherwise be just oilfields. They have many trails walking/biking/horseback riding and through out they have saved unique tree systems and animals out here. Please keep it clean folks!
Really nice walk if the weather is right..
Nice preserve tucked away in the middle of the oil fields
