Really fun group activity! One of the best birthdays ever! The staff at Brainy Actz were great!! We found a Groupon deal which made this experience very affordable too. Going back for more fun!

So much fun! The host was awesome, he kept us laughing. When we arrived for our appointment, the group behind us was lagging a little so they gave us some free axe throwing time. I have to say, I LOVE this place. Well definitely be coming back.

I booked the Axe throwing with three teenagers and myself. Weve been to several other axe throwing businesses on the East Coast and northern California that were amazing! In comparison, Brainy was horrible on so many levels. It was highly unsafe! The blades were dull and some even had chips. Because of this, they were bouncing back past the throwing line. The handles were sharper on some than the blades! One of my boys cut his finger on a janky handle.They allowed other customers to play some hardcore rap with derogatory language. Typically dont care about this, but another family with 7-8 year old children were also in there.... highly unprofessional and disrespectful!They even shut the door going from the lobby to the axe throwing area, leaving all of the customers unattended without any employee.Not to mention, the place just seemed unkept and unattended to - trash all over from previous customers. No paper towels in the restroom, and Christmas decorations still up (Its March!)Although my kids did have fun throwing axes, this place seems very unsafe and unprofessional compared to the two other places my family has experienced and thats what we were looking for here...Sad we didnt find that experience.

This was my first experience doing an escape room and it was fantastic! I was smiling throughout the experience a good amount of the time. Did the pirate room with 7 others for my bachelor party. If youre curious, we succeeded! With such a positive experience, I am kinda hooked on escape rooms and want to do more in the future.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Made reservations for a birthday party, showed up, & not a single person was at the place. All the lights were off & we called the main number got in touch with someone & they explained that the person, Macie, would be there in 20 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes, almost an hour past our reservation & Macie FINALLY showed up as we had decided to go ahead & go to our dinner reservations. A very let down moment & the birthday kid’s day was ruined. Very upsetting.

Great experience with Axe throwing very nice staff her name was Becca Amaro very thorough in instruction and very pleasant differently will return and ask for her to be out instructor again

Super fun experience for my first time being in an escape room. Tim was our host and he was super nice and kept the experience alive. All in all a good time with your friends or family

It was an amazing experience! I would recommend for all families of different ages. Tim was a great host for the evening and did an amazing job!

Its one of the best things Ive ever done. That is what my 12 year old daughter said when we finished the paint room. The team there was super helpful and took great care of us.

I had such a great time in the rage room and the axe throwing. Whitney and Dustin were both great and accommodating. Best stress relief I have ever experienced. I highly recommend it! I cant wait to try the rest of the activities they have to offer. I will definitely be back!

Being Native American of the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe, I was curious as to whether or not the DNA of axe-throwing had been passed down into my genes. It was. I feel like Rambo now. Anyway, the staff was really friendly and helpful and it was a great time.

Went with the whole family over Christmas break. Fun place! We enjoyed the escape room, staff were friendly and helpful. We got a deal on the price with a groupon too. Would definitely try some of the other activities next time.

We have done two awesome escape rooms here! Both rooms were very different and featured unique strategies and puzzles to solve each one. Staff was very attentive and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Would highly recommend!

Awesome experience all events are very fun different from many activities around Bakersfield. Allo was a great host she was very helpful accommodating and kind. Would come back without a doubt

SO MUCH FUN!!!! I came for a date night and had an absolute blast throwing knives and axes. By the end of the hour we could actually aim and stick most of the axes it was fantastic, a great stress relief and just a little competitive, perfect for a date night! They have a bunch of other activities and I cannot wait to come back and try them all!! Ask for Dana she was an excellent host

Had a really good archery tag experience with some friends. I really recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a blast and get some great cardio as well. The escape rooms and other things they offer are eye catching and I will definitely be returning.

The rage room was so much fun. You get to break stuff in a room for about 20 minutes. It’s actually really safe and a huge stress reliever. I felt great after we were done. We came for my birthday and had a fun time.

Went through one of the three escape rooms at brainy actz and had an absolute blast! The room kept us entertained and guessing until the very end. Great experience and wonderful staff!! Dustin miller, the manager was extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall great experience. They also have axe throwing, nerf and archery wars, a paint splatter room as well as a rage room! Will absolutely be back to try out the other activities! 10/10

We got a tour the place looked amazing a perfect place to pass the time we did one of there escape rooms pretty challenging I highly recommend this place and will return soon.

Tried the nerf wars experience and our kids had a blast. I saw that they offer escape rooms and axe throwing so we will be back soon! A must try in Bakersfield.

I was not impressed. I was expecting the rage room to be full of things you can break but the front desk lady just set up a few things to smash and it was over in a few minutes. The room was not clean there was smashed items all the edge of the wall. For the price I was expecting a lot more. Maybe shelves set up of things you can break and throw, not just a few items set up on buckets you cannot smash.Not worth the price.If you want to rage go to the dollar store and buy $40 worth items and smash at your house.

Someone used my card to book a time slot at this place and they refused to cancel or refund my money when I notified them of the theft. Shows you their values.

Showed up during Open hours and it was closed. Called the number and was told they couldnt get a hold of the person who was supposed to be working and never got a call back after i was told i would. Wasted an 18 minute drive for nothing.
