Great place to have fun. needs more light at night though

Seems nice enough. The kids liked the playground. I like that there was a bathroom because some parks out here dont. The baseball diamond was nice too!

Great for the kids and right next to a police station

Donny Hale Park is a great place for recreation. There is a playground that contains fairly new equipment and is placed next to the softball field so adults can watch the softball games whilst keeping close to their children playing on the playground equipment. There is a covered Ramada section next to the remodeled restrooms and basketball and tennis courts to the rear south.The park has an open grass area were many pop warner organizations can be seen taking advantage of the area. Every so often the City of Avondale is known to have special events hosted at this park that is free to the community such as free popcorn and movie night.

I only went once here and Ive never gone back. The playground area needs a light post when the sun goes down you cant see anything. Apart from that a man assulted a young boy there once after seeing that on the news just confirmed that i was never taking my child there.

Its the best for everybody

Only thing missing is more light on the playground for the kids! Other than that the park is great!!!
