Perfect place to take a deep breath and relax. Just be careful with some sculptures they dont like the jokes.

I appreciate the fair price for the garden. Impressed that the sculptures are waxed for gentle touching by the visually impaired.

Happened upon this spot by accident. Was totally worth it. Highly recommend it.

A nice walk through this sculpture garden gives a look into history and the life of sculpture Charles Umlauf. Tim at the office was very helpful in providing us the guide map and information about Charles Umlauf and the garden. And there was a informational video to watch. Very cool experience.

A great cultural piece in Austin, this garden holds pieces from throughout Umlaufs life in a beautiful garden. A great when you want to change up the pace from queso and frisbee.

I recently moved to Austin. Out of curiosity I went to an UMLAUF “After Dark” event. ($5) It was fascinating. They had a captivating young musician, inexpensive drinks and a beautiful semi-lit garden to stroll through. I really liked Charles Umlauf’s sculptures; he must have been a very sensitive man to capture such amazing moments. I was brought to tears by the mother and child pieces of which he made so many. Their indoor art gallery also rotates beautiful exhibitions.I then read the list of membership benefits and immediately joined. My favorite experience now is “Yoga in the garden”. It is truly a body-mind-spirit experience.The UMLAUF is a treasure not to be missed!
