Fun 3-4 hours...and cheap...We arrived at 3pm, took a second to check in, and we started the easy course. The easy course in itself is challenging and fun! It cost us 12$ a head for both the courses, and we had 3-4 hours of fun! Also, the clubs and balls are sanitized, so thats great as well!

I havent been to Peter Pan since I was a kid. I think I possibly had more fun now than I did then. The carefree atmosphere is still there and to be able to enjoy putting around with a beer and enjoying the beautiful weather is what Austin is all about. Theyve done a great job at making it as contactless as possible during covid while still keeping that Austin vibe. An easy date night and a must on a weekend trip to experience an old staple.

A fun place to gather with people of all ages to chase a little colored ball around a course of 18 obstacles designed to challenge your skill and patience. Lots of unique handmade colorful pieces of art adorn every hole. Its a neat gem in downtown Austin to pass an hour or so for only $8 per adult. Take your own cooler but no glass. Lots of fun and plenty of shade among the two different 18 hole courses.

Lots of fun came on a Thursday around 12 to 4. Did all 36 holes. Definitely enjoyable and liked that we were able to bring in food and drinks. McDonalds nextdoor and Starbucks across the street made a nice snack. But would definitely bring some bug spray next time.

Great mini golf course! There are two sets of 18 holes, one easier and one harder (which was the one we did). It was not overly difficult, but still challenged my group and provided a great time.

Youre either this tall *hold hand 3 to 4 ft from the ground* or this drunk *hold hand 6 to 7 ft from ground* but otherwise a good time to be had. Their parking lot is laughably tiny with some overflow allow the behind the adjacent McDonalds (next to the grease trap NOT the parking parallel to POMG as you might assume).Pandemic update: you need to purchase a pass ahead of time which is expected, however you still go at your own risk in terms of capacity. The nature of the courses do allow for social distancing, but only at the whim of your fellow patrons. Hand sanitizer is available at the entry point and the appear to do an adequate job sanitizing the clubs & balls between uses.

Only cost me and each of my friends $8 for about 2 hours of fun. Of course we took our time with each hole (we were curious and got out of others peoples ways when we were taking too long), but it was certainly worth the money. The place is well kept up and there is an amazing atmosphere. My one issue is the parking, the parking lot was full and it took us a while to realize we could park legally in the McDonalds parking lot. However, only on one specific side, just be sure to pay attention to the signs if you go here.

Been a fan of Peter Pan for a long time, I regularly used to take friends visiting from out of town here. With Covid going on, a few friends and I who have been following shelter-in-place rules thought maybe it wouldnt be too bad, since people try to be well spaced anyway and the website said masks were required.Well, less than about 2/3 of the people there had masks. Plenty of people either had them and didnt put them on while being near each other, or werent even carrying/wearing. As it got busier people had very little consideration for spacing as well.I get that Peter Pan has only so much control over how their customers behave, but there was essentially zero enforcement. I dont plan to go there again anytime soon, and will be discouraging others as well.

A fun, Austin-y place to go with kids or friends or both. The grounds are nice and well-kept and there are tables in the front to use for birthday parties. It is, however, very small. The parking lot can be a challenge and you feel like youre right on top of others when playing. Its also cash only and the man working the day we were there was very unpleasant for such a fun place.

Fun mini golf but we left early because no one cared about covid regulations. Signs said that you had to carry masks but that they were optional unless you were within six feet of other people. It was absolutely packed and everyone was crowding each other. Probably half of the people were not wearing masks. I get that it’s outside, but a maskless crowd is still not good. It might be easier to distance when it isn’t a Saturday night, but it wasn’t fine when we went.

$17.50 for two adults. Can bring your own drinks. No glass. Parking isnt great but can park in McDonalds, just read the signs and be respectful. They provide wipes and sanitizer for Covid. This is an Austin classic that is great in its eclectic nature and ridiculous statues. No water features. Ball isnt taken at end in some ridiculous fun and difficult 18th hole. Two different sets of easy or hard courses that are well placed to use a small space well. Just papier-mâché pieces of Austin classics, like the capitol, penny backer bridge, dinosaurs, and lots of ants. No bats though...old, bit dilapidated, but enjoyable and a nice Austin prime location get together.

Most important fact is: BYOB mini golf. Pretty much worth it just for that fact. Theres two different courses to choose from but beware of a few holes that seem almost impossible to make par on. It can also get incredible crowded so be prepared to wait for each hole, the people watching is usually good though. Theres additional parking in the back of the McDonalds.

Review №29

Course difficulty is wildly uneven and hole design layout isnt exactly creative, but it makes up for it in cheap fun. The holes are dotted with these delightfully creepy sculptures. Its maintained pretty well, its pretty clean and theres no tearing at the greens or weird liquids in the holes. There will be some obstructions from branches or leaves that fell from the overhead trees lying in the way, so you may want to keep an eye out for those before teeing off if you care about that kind of thing.

7 bucks a person (cash only), and I definitely think its worth it if you have a couple of friends you want to bring along. There are only two courses, and each took my friends and me about an hour and a half for each. Theyre open late, so its good for evening golfing. Some of the sculptures for the holes are... interesting to say the least. You can tell the artwork is more in line with the art styles of when the place opened (1948!), but theyre well made and stand for a good laugh/photo shoot. The only thing I didnt like was the assortment of empty/half full beer bottles along the sides of some of the courses. They werent in the way, but it would be nice to have seen a little bit of cleaning up, although we might have just come at a bad time, it was a Saturday night after all so who knows. Overall, even though the place is a little old theres lots of fun to be had at Peter Pan Mini-Golf, definitely would go again!

This place has been around since I was a kid, and it’s still a blast. It’s still cash only. They still sell impossibly sticky (and delicious) snow cones, and adults are still welcome to BYOB. Just bring a cooler, and something to cover your drink, if it sports a label indicating it contains alcohol. They have some new hole themes, and fresh paint on all the statues. Also new is the Peter Pan coozie they sell. I totally bought two. They were only like $5.

Super fun place. 2 different courses to choose from. The props are in great shape thanks to who ever fixed them up and painted them. But the best thing about this place makes me wish I could give it 6 stars; This place is BYOB! Thats right, bring your own beer. Or other drink as long as its not in glass. This was a fun place. It was great to experience a small part of Austins history. It was nice to see the history articles at the end of the West course too. I will say though that although I enjoyed it this was probably the worst mini golf course Ive even been to. I get that its old but the greens were covered in leaves and debris, the cement was in a state of disrepair, the carpet needs replaced where its worn thin, and the night lighting is so bad you cant see all the deformities in the cement under the greens. Needs some pretty extensive maintenance and walkway lighting to help with the shadows but overall Im glad I finally did it.

CASH ONLY! But if you dont carry cash then dont worry, they have an ATM there that is happy to charge you a convenience fee :) As far as the course goes there are some holes with phenomenal designs and some which are a bit glitchy. Overall, I say the reason to visit here is to take funny pictures with the statues so you can post them on social media in an attempt to show that youre a happy person. If you are looking for fun with putt putt though then I would lean towards an inside course where you dont have to sweat. Keep in mind were all lazy Americans.
