If youre looking for something to do with a group check out hipside peddler! Matt was an awesome guide, very organized, and helped us out from start to finish! We had a group of 10 last weekend and got to tour some eastside bars and breweries that were AMAZING! My fav was Central Machine Works Brewery so be sure to add that one to your list. Lustre Pearl was adorable and had some great cultural murals outdoors. I think its a great experience and allows you to adventure through Austin in a different way Thanks for an unforgettable experience for our bachelorette weekend!

I booked Hipside Peddler (“Vendor”) for a service to be rendered on July 12, 2020. The total cost of the booking was $498.00. This was a group booking for attendees traveling from all over the United States. Unfortunately, due to the increase of COVID-19 cases in Texas, current traveling restrictions placed on several of the states where the attendees were coming from and a couple of the attendees being high risk (myself included – pregnant and asthmatic), we had to cancel.The cancellation was made on June 26, 2020, over two weeks before the services were to be provided giving ample notice to the Vendor.These are extremely unprecedented circumstances, and all other cancellations our group had to submit were processed with full refunds with no issues. I have attempted to resolve this matter amicably with the Vendor via email and phone and have explained that this was a group booking, so a credit for the amount is not acceptable.The Vendor has refused to provide a refund with the excuse that the purchase is non-refundable. I would understand charging a cancellation fee to account for the expenses associated with running business and processing a credit card transaction. The Vendor has not incurred any expenses due to our cancellation. as such, there is no reason for refusing a refund of the entire amount when NO services have been rendered and cancellation was submitted with ample notice.

We were planning to use hipside peddler for my sisters bachelorette. I bought a non-refundable ticket (knowing that was risky due to COVID). When Texas shut down their bars for a second time I knew we would not be able to make our tour. I called Matt from hipside and chatted with him. While he couldn’t offer a full refund, he gave me a store credit to use whenever I wanted. Or I could also sell the credit on Facebook marketplace. So sad we won’t get to use hipside in a few weeks, but would definitely recommend and will come back once given the chance. The people here are so understanding and willing to work with you. All you have to do is show them some respect and be willing to work with them. Kindness can go a long way

Matt was so accommodating to our missed tour and Alex was a wonderful peddler guide!!! So fun and exciting. Everyone needs to use this company they are great.

If I could give a zero star, I would! We were traveling to Austin with a group of friends for the first time and we thought this would be fun....We looked at other reviews, and this company seems great...Save your money. Don’t book this tour company. This tour was horrible. Our guide took us to a bad part of town and our pub crawler bus broke down. We had to take an Uber back to civilization. The first bar he brought us to was empty and the employees were so rude. The tour guide denied anything wrong with the bus and said that we weren’t peddling hard enough, meanwhile we were completely wet with sweat. It’s was a horrible start to the night. Just not a reliable company. I would not recommend you book with this company.

I booked Hipside peddler for a bachelorette party and we had an unexpected change of plans (Bride got sick) and we weren’t able to come to Austin at all. Matt was super cool and took care of us! Will totally be using them on our next trip to Austin. Highly recommend

Editted: We had some technical difficulties with our bike on the east sixth route. We reported it early to the driver but it was not called in immediately. We pedalled hard for a while before we chose to cut it short. Previously gave one star but since then the company handled the feedback well and understood the situation. Would only recommend taking other routes they offer that are more populated with more lively bars.Note to the commenter: we were unable to wait for the repair to arrive due to the part of town we were in when it was called in. some people had been holding on to the bike when we were pedaling earlier and making us uncomfortable - which is not your companies fault or within either one of our controls, just the situation at hand. Thanks for your help to resolve.

Amazing! We rented the bike for the East Side Group Tour for a Bachelorette Party and had so much fun! Our driver Wesley took us to some awesome bars - Highlight of our weekend for sure!!

Really good time. Professional operators. Quick to respond to queries. Took us to some really fun and interesting bars. Would recommend for something different for your time in Austin!

Andre and Rachel are a really wonderful couple and we thoroughly enjoyed our two hour ride with them. It’s a must-do for an Austin trip as you get to check out local neighborhood spots and drink some local beers. Next level fun.

Hipside Peddler is the best. We opted for the 2 hour ride and Rachel, our driver was so much fun! Great way to pre-game before hitting up the town at night. Highly recommended.

Had a great time getting to tour the east side of my city!Music was fantastic and our guide made it a lot of fun!The peddler itself was extremely clean and modern.You get to burn a few calories while sipping on suds with good friends and get a tour. That is at least 3 birds with one stone!

Perfect combo. Beer while exercising!! Loved spending time with friends and enjoying the Texas tailgate in a different way. Comfortable bike with lots of options for keeping your drinks cold!

Exercise plus drinking! Yes! The ride was a blast. Great setup with multiple phone chargers, loved the music (we let them DJ), and the adjustable seats made a BIG difference for us shorties. Rock on, Hipside! (And thanks again for the great ride!)

Peddling is so much better on the East Side! The seats had backs on them, which made the ride comfortable and safe and there was KARAOKE! The owners are extremely friendly and fun to hang out with, and the bars visited had character and great drink prices. Highly Recommend!

This was so much fun! Our bachelorette party really enjoyed ourselves. We stopped at some really great bars with good drinks. We were able to dance and listen to music. Our tour guide/driver was extremely nice and very helpful. I would reccomend this to anyone and do it over and over again!!

What a blast!!!!! Hipside peddler is an awesome time. Hanging out with friends enjoying exercising and a bit a drinking. The music was great and so was the DJ... lol. I cant wait to do it again!

The absolute best experience and time EVER. I (unfortunately) moved away from Austin a few years ago but still love coming back to visit as much as possible. My last visit was my best visit because of Hipside Peddler. 1. I got to have ALL of my favorite Austinites in the same place, drinking, moving, interacting, socializing. This was so much better than doing a big group dinner where I cant catch up with multiple people. 2. It was AWESOME to see the East Side and how much has it has grown and changed since Ive lived there!!! 3. All I had to do was show up and then have fun. All of the stress of my visit, planning, coordinating, etc., was taken care of by Hipside!!! I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in Austin but especially anybody visiting or returning that needs to see/have fun with lots of people in small amount of time. #RIDEHIPSIDE!!!

Had THE MOST AMAZING TIME on Sunday Funday with Hipside Peddler!! Went with a large group, some who I knew and some I didnt but everyone was having a blast and exchanging numbers by the end. Ive been on other mobile bar crawls and this one blows them all out of the water. Amazing guides and super comfortable ride! The music was knocking and the energy was through the roof! Do yourself a favor and book them for your next birthday party or group event! So much fun!!!
