The only issue I have would be that there really needs to be more public restrooms. The one on the path was being used by a homeless couple taking a shower and dressing in the toilet area. Otherwise was an awesome experience

Excelent place to visit, work out and enjoy nature. Trash Tuesday at the lake: 1 hour free kayaking and gathering stuff from the water. Fun

Loved this path in south downtown austin along lady bird lake. Probably 15 ft wide with room for pedestrians, bicycles and electric scooters. Its flanked by trees for shade most of the way, with stretches over the lake. My dog had a blast(pick up after your dog n dont be a loser).

Excellent trail to walk, bike and sight see. On the day I visited the weather was great and the skies were clear. People were also very friendly and cordial whether they were just getting in a stroll or walking dogs.Definitely a must do in Austin.

Wide trail, lots of people running, biking, and walking. Plenty shaded, along a river, multiple play areas along the way. Crushed granite trail. Makes for a great run!

Good place to get some exercise and fresh air. Caution though, several groups of inconsiderate people were hogging way too much trail and several individuals were not paying attention and / or yielding to others.

Great place to walk and enjoy the river/lake view. Loops around over the bridge if you are looking for a longer walk. Lots of parking available by the mexican cultural center. And easy to grab lunch with all the restaurants nearby.
