There is no greater wakeup call than when you walk into a store that permeates the awesome smell of leather. Row after row of beautiful boots and leather goods in every size possible. Parking was a bit of an adventure in the front of the store, but worth it to get in. Prices are pretty steep, but they have a great selection.

My sister and I stopped by looking for a pair of boots for her. While we were shopping around, the salesmen offered to help us get the right fit or order the correct size if we couldnt find it. We quickly found the perfect pair and a very helpful salesman cleaned and polished them up before we checked out. I was very pleased with the friendly customer service and ended up buying myself a pair of boots even though I wasnt originally planning on it. I spent well over an hour trying on boots and getting assistance from Andrew. Spectacular selection of traditional boots, but not really riding or work boots. They were great about finding my size if I saw a style I liked. Since I was traveling, they shipped my boots to my house and I had them in 3 days! Great place, go find your perfect boot!

Allens boots is a really nice shop to get quality cowboy/cowgirl boots. They have a large variety of boots and other country apparel with some of it on sale. The main drawback is that the prices are pricey although it makes sense since the boots are high quality.

I very rarely get to come this way, and its always a treat going to Allens. The amount of artfully crafted footwear at large ranges of pricing, including great sales, is a true sight. I had the opportunity to bring someone this time around who was mesmerized at the sheer amount and variety of beautiful boots, and got to relive the experience in their eyes. Theres a boot for every style and personality, the staff is very cordial, attentive, and its overall a great experience. Even if youre not planning on buying a pair, I thoroughly recommend a visit to this magical land that smells of leather and wood.

This place is massive and will likely have a pair of boots to suit your taste. They have regular cowboy boots as well as short booties. The staff here are very helpful but follow you around too much asking if you need help with every pair of boots you pick up. There are some boots on sale but some prices are around $300-$400 a pair.

I walked in here not expecting to find a boot that actually fit my foot, but ended up with a pair of luccheses on sale that fit perfectly. Noah was the best. He helped me so much and was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I loved my experience in this store and expect you will too.

Every time I visit my girlfriends family in Texas I contemplate buying some good old fashioned cowboy boots. Just like the ones I used to wear as a child when I walked around pretending to be Garth Brooks. Today I stepped in Allens. Initially I had no intention of going to a retail outlet and had planned on going shopping at a thrift shop. I know how expensive boots can get. I was sized and directed to he aisle with all the boots that would fit me. Didnt think I would find something in the range I was looking for. A lot of boots are 500 and up. Saw a few over 2000 dollars. But if you look hard enough there are several 200 dollar boots. Some on sale with with original sticker prices of 400 dollars. Anyways I got a beautiful pair of Ariats that I am sure to get years of use out of. So Thanks Allens. Also big shout out to Ryan the sales associate who helped me.

Such a cool place to stop into! For someone whose not from the state this store embodies everything I imagined Texas to be. They are covered wall to wall in cowboy boot, all different colors and price points and have a section for cowboy hats and gun holders. This store is definitely a must see for tourists.

We were visiting from St Augustine FL and stumbled on this awesome place after eating dinner they were closed. So we went back Saturday morning and were glad we did! Walked in wanting some black boots and Keva was so helpful. She was able to tell us what other pair of boots I had at home by a picture my wife showed her. She then walked down the isle and pulled them off the shelf so we could compare. Needless to say we were super impressed and purchased boots and a belt! Will be back for more shopping later. Oh and make sure you ask for Keva!!

This place is authentic, and I would say almost a requirement to visit in Austin. Its not just a boot store, but an experience. The smell of leather, and the shear number and style of boots is amazing. My wife and I went here to get each other nice boots for our anniversary. The staff was very helpful and nice. Worked with us to figure out our style and budget, and got us the perfect boots. I would recommend to people interested in an Austin experience, and definitely to people interested in getting some boots.

An excellent place to find beautifully crafted boots and hats. The prices depend on the quality and style, and are reasonable depending upon your selection. We were able to find a nice, good quality black straw Western hat for our friend visiting from Norway. I felt the $50 spent was worth the price for the hat we purchased. The customer service was excellent, and the sales people went out of their way to help us find the perfect hat for our friend.

Great store with a helpful staff and a very large selection. The S. Congress location is better suited for outfitting hipsters and posers, whereas their location in Round Rock is better stocked for those that wear more functional Western style attire, but both stores have enough of the basics to merit a visit. In both cases, the staff is friendly, honest, and helpful. Tell them what you need/want. Be honest, and theyll get you outfitted.

I have never been to the actually store so it may be a great place. I placed a order online, they decided the shoe I ordered ran small so they sent me a larger size. It was to big. I tried contacting the store by email and never received a email back. Tried calling store after I got off work in which their online customer service person was not there tried on a Saturday they didn’t work that day either. My husband finally got ahold of them a week after I received my shoes. They told him they could sent the correct size. Now they say they don’t have them anymore well they probably would have had them if they would have contacted me back. They did refund no problem at all but I am disappointed in their overall customer service.

Everything cowboy you need to look amazing with extremely helpful staff. This is not a cheap store by any stretch, but very high quality and deep selection.
