Its a little venue that is tucked away inside a place of learning here in Austin Texas. The cast, crew, and people who own the show are really wonderful folks and are also very talented. The plays are always so very well done and very much worth the price to see them. Go by and check them out, you wont regret it.

If you are looking for reliably enjoyable performances, this a great choice. On the other hand, if you are looking for something culturally revolutionary that will be offensive to some people then go somewhere else. I enjoy both, and Austin Playhouse does a fantastic job of the tamer side of theatre.

I have annual subscriptions. I enjoy the plays very much. The ensemble cast is excellent.

Nice cozy place to watch a good play!

This is a small theater that doesnt look like a professional theater at all, but you dont mind one bit. It was a packed house for a reason. The seating was comfortable and sturdy, and you were very close to the actors and live band. They utilized the small space perfectly. This theater has a monumentally talented cast of performers. I mean, wow. It was amazing. I will definitely be going again. They have made a fan out of me. Also, the staff and volunteers were very friendly.

I have been here several times to see a variety of plays and I can say they never disappoint. The plays are great and the actors are all very talented. The theater is small (best guess is about 100-200 seats), but not cramped. Concessions are reasonably priced as well. If you havent been here before, I highly recommend you go at least once.

Although the building was a little warm, I had such a fabulous time seeing Guys and Dolls last night!! Its impressive to see such brilliant use of an old abandoned mall. Will definitely be coming to shows next season!

I went to see a production put on by ACC. It was kinda hard to find the theater, but once I found the enterence, the rest was pretty great!

Great folks. Witnessed the play El Publico The Audiance, had so much laughs but also left with a cliff hanger. We need that play finished lol. Great performance guys, gals and horses.

Their plays and actors are absolutely wonderful! After we saw our first one last year we bought season tickets for this year and have been so happy!

The plays were great but the venue is difficult to find. Its in an abandoned shopping mall so it feels weird to walk past a bunch of closed stores. Its not easy to find.
