Spent the evening in the garden at the hormel house. It us so beautiful.

Held the father-in-laws 90th birthday party here today. Worked great! The venue was perfect and the Hormel staff was entirely professional, helpful, and personable. Lovely, convenient, and comfortable venue. Charming staff.

We were at a music contest but I have been in the building several times for different events. It is beautiful and full of great history.

My wedding was here recently and it was great. I would recommend it to engaged couples looking for an affordable venue in which to get married and have a reception. Many of our wedding guests toured the home during the reception and they had many compliments about how beautiful the venue was.

Ive attended many events. At the Hormel House. Ive never been disappointed. I love the big new addition.You cannot help feeling a bit, elegant, when you are there!

I attended a wedding here, which was a lovely place for an intimate and memorable wedding. The interior was warm and inviting and was just right for someone who wants a little extra for their small gathering.

I went there for friends graduation party. It was spectacular!!

As the name implies it was the home of George Hormel, founder of Hormel Foods. Very well maintained with a lot of history about the Hormel family. The home is located just 2 blocks from downtown Austin. They have added an addition, which can be used for various events (i.e. meetings, conferences, weddings erc.). Plenty of parking across the street. They have a commercial kitchen for food preparation or they allow food to be catered in.

We attend the handmade gift event every December to stock up on essential oils, soaps and gifts.

The remodel & restoration is absolutely wonderful. Very meticulous. Wood work is great example of craftsmanship from the period.

Super cool historic home run by people who really care & have a passion for the place! A must-see if you are visiting Austin & like history or want to know more about the Hormel family who created the world-famous Hormel company. Is the perfect place for meetings or weddings etc!
