I love this center! Its artistic, entrepreneurial vibe is exactly what this city needs more of . . . I went to The Front Page (a great place, by the way) for a networking event and soon found myself window-shopping from one unique store after another. This center has plenty of parking too. Ill definitely be a regular now that Ive discovered it.
Specifically went to Medici the new coffee shop on my way to work. Much of the indoor and outdoor sitting space is connected to other businesses which is great in terms of overflow. You can see from the pictures the sitting areas are designed for patrons to spend time gathering together.I enjoyed a cold brew coffee, black so no cream no sugar. This coffee is amazing. It went down super smooth without any burnt or bitter taste. The flavor blend is La Morena but I think the coffee flavors will change seasonally.I had not realized this is a chain shop. I have not been to other locations but Im pleased to have a strong brand representative convenient to my commute area. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the beer and snack selection. These are 2 areas desperately needing improvement. It your going to have a beer/coffee hub in the heart of Austins growing and gentrification boom, you need more than 5 taps and should be from local breweries. Snack wise if your doors open at 6am but the tacos arent there till 8am, thats a no-go because most people in this town dont want to eat sugar carbs/donuts and bagels for breakfast. We crave substance. The bar setup/design is a bit backwards but I was there very early in the morning so no one was there to make it difficult to get my drink in a hurry.I plan to return to try some of the hot offers when the Texas heat breaks. See you soon.
Limited food options, but cafe Medici has your back. Great coffee and snacks. I feel like the rest of Springdale General is missing something. That x-factor.
Very cool space in a neighborhood that needs new activity. But its underutilized on the weekend. They need to encourage more weekend activation: events, art, popups, fleas.
Beautiful area. I didnt partake in any services here, but I will definitely come back.
Come for a coffee, tea, gift shopping, art gazing experience!
Love the wall art of inspiration.
Very pretty and modern. The acoustics in the empty building are not good but with proper decorations and filling out, it will be perfect. Very spacious and airy. Definitely a positive addition to the area.
Still developing but has the potential to be a cool shopping center. Has Car2go parking spots so thats pretty cool and convenient.
Nice place I liked the meeting g we had their .
Sheepishly, I’ll admit that I was here because a client I’d wanted to see and who offices here was unavailable. But she did say my consultant and I could use the common space, so we grabbed a table in the coffee shop. We got a lot done, and if I’d needed a haircut or tattoo, that could have happened then and there—just down the hallway.
Up and coming.. adding restaurants and more businesses.
