The first time we went to Races2U, the owner was very kind and helpful. Whenever our slot car malfunctioned, he would quickly fix it and we would be racing again. The owner was flexible in letting use the tracks available (well, except for the desert track because he said it was very difficult to control the slot car (another words, the desert track is for expert racers)) We didn’t mind though. The second time we went, the owner was there and again we had a great time. :)
Warren brought Races2U to our home for our 8 year old’s birthday party and it was a huge hit! His team couldn’t have been more lovely and they created a wonderful experience for everyone in attendance. We look forward to visiting the shop up north soon!
As much as it pains me to say it, this business needs some work. It could be really cool for adults, but the presence of children under 10 years old kind of wrecks the place. My friend and I were looking for something knew to do and thought this would be fun.The racing simulators were cool (except for the 6 year old looking over my shoulder, constantly telling me I was losing). The slot car oval was also fun, but the cars we had to use were really beat up and would randomly stop every know and then. Once again, we had to deal with little kids grabbing the cars while we were trying to race. Our final event was the drag strip. Great idea but many of the cars were inconsistent with their speed, but we made it fun just messing with each other. It does have a few redeeming qualities. First, the staff was awesome and pretty helpful. Second, compared to some other new recreational experiences it was cheap. Finally, you can enjoy yourself and not worry about breaking anything because a lot of it has already been roughed up.Overall, Im glad they are able to provide a great atmosphere for kids, but for adults, they need to have some better options.
Just left from there with the hubby, the kids and their BFFs. The hubby wanted to check it out, but myself and the kids were skeptical- two 13 yo and two 17 yo. We all had an awesome time. I didnt race (max is 5 at a time on 1 track and on the simulators. The other tracks are 2 at a time.), but I entertained myself with the scavenger hunt and taking pics. Spencer was very helpful and an all around awesome host. We all had a great time and would recommend it for all ages.
Great place to take kids for an hour and they enjoy it thoroughly. But, as an adult could not help notice the roughed up nature of the cars and of course did get to race one of better ones when I pointed it out. Overall, staff and upkeep is really great but I guess as they encourage kids to play.. so you will noticebeat up car but do ask them for better ones . Will definitely recommend this place.
My son, husband, and myself had fun. I love new experiences. I did not realize this would be a new experience. Its nothing like the home tracks we have tried. The guy who runs it made it fun. My favorite thing was to see my response times to the green light.
My twin nephews celebrated their birthdays last year here. It was a fun time for both children AND adults, thats not an easy feat. The owners are wonderful and know how to make it fun for everyone.A couple of things to note, this is not a very large venue, so it would be good for 15-25 person party tops. They do not serve food or beverages, however you can easily have food delivered there. They have a back room where you can set up food, plates and utensils.
Very nice tracks and ample space! Had a blast!Service was nice and owner is very humble.Fun for kids and parents too!
Great variety of tracks and good cars and equipment. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Three generations of my family had loads of fun. Will go again
This is fun for kids and adults. they have a bunch of racetracks setup and even a virtual F1 track. If you think you know how to drive think again.
Its a pretty good place to take the kids for an hour.
Really fun place for a kids birthday party!
