The Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club can provide a one of a kind experience for your family. There is a program for any age at any level to enjoy. The staff is well equipped to develop any player no matter what their goals might be. Definitely a good choice for families in the greater Denver area.

Our soccer experience has been great! I love seeing my 3 year old daughter being excited about playing with her coach Isabel every Saturday Morning at Gates! I hardly can wait to continue our soccer experience over the years with the organization. They looked extremely organized every weekend at our location hosting lots of older kids and their teams.

This is a really great, compact set of indoor fields. The netting serves as a perfectly adequate separator for 4 different fields and a fifth back area for other trainings. Well lit, well marked, I only wish it were closer to my house and not in Aurora!

The Eddy is an amazing indoor soccer facility that is available to rent for on an hourly fee. The Eddy hosts camps, Futsal, and clinics too by the Rapids Youth Soccer and other soccer organizations. The Eddy has offices for Rapids Youth Soccer coaches and administrators, conference room, tables and bar top seating, bathrooms, 4 turf Futsal fields, and lots of training equipment. The Colorado Rapids MLS team also uses this facility for indoor training! The Rapids Youth Soccer is the largest Youth soccer club in the state. They start clinics/classes at 3 years old and go all the way up to the 1st team (MLS). They have several locations around the state, Fort Collins, North, Central, South, and Castle Rock. There are several levels of play, recreational, competitive, ECNL, and DA. No soccer club is perfect, but Rapids does a great job of communicating to parents, organizing fun events for players (BBQ kickoff, Rapids MLS game, mini age specific tournaments, etc), and putting the players first.

I left for 2 years out of the country and came back this summer, I enrolled my 12 year old into the competitive program and the experience was awful, expensive from what you get, the coach was nice and did a good job but seemed he he didn’t have any support from the directors, a lot of miscommunication I tried to contact couple directors and the general manager but never heard back. I guess they just became to big, since before leaving my daughter played for storm (the club they bought) and they experience with them was excellent, definitely changing clubs for the spring season

Our club uses the Eddy to train indoors in the winter months, it has been an amazing experience so far. The fields are in great shape, the temperature is nice in comparison to other indoor fields and the staff is great. I would highly recommend The Eddy for your Colorado Winter Indoor needs.

The BEST youth soccer program in the state! I have three children currently enrolled with the Rapids (2 in the competitive division and one in the rec program). All three absolutely love the program, the camps and especially their coaches. As a parent, I appreciate the clear communication and dedication to individual player development. If you have a son or daughter interested in goal keeping you will not find a better coaching staff! Both the director and the assistant director of GK take a wholistic approach in developing their players, which has a profound impact on these kids as humans and as athletes.Lastly, the staff is professional and highly effective in the delicate balance of running a business, developing soccer players and creating a fun, encouraging environment. Our family has had a wonderful experience with Rapids Youth Soccer!

My son really is enjoying this camp. I like that they allow him to play up with bigger older kids at his own desire each time instead of playing him purely by age. That goes well for him because he would rather be changed by older kids that good among peers. The facility is nice and the plethora of coaches with different things to offer is a hot too. Coaches seem will trained in soccer too, which is huge.

We like the Soccer skills coaching! This was our first year doing that and we love the experience the coaches have and I could see the growth and confidence my 6 year has with the ball now. We always like the teams but this was a great option since we couldn’t do weekend games this spring.

Really disorganized club, since is a big club. expensive at the rec and competitive level, uniforms 700$, really?, communication is bad, my u10 girl is in the rec program and I have tried numerous times to contact the director of coaching with calls and emails and have not any response. we have a club trainer but seems they are never in the same page with other coaches or directors, about lesson plans, training environment and everyone is on their own, our volunteer coach, did a better job, definitely switching clubs for the spring

This place, the eddy, is a great place for young kids to play indoor soccer, futsol, during the cold and snowy months. There are 4 fields, and 2 viewing areas. There is also a training area, and a weights area. It is a little bad that you have to go outside to access 2 of the fields. But all in all it is a great place, and is one of the best indoor soccer fields in denver.

My two daughters have played in the Rapids competitive program for four years, and overall, the experience has been top notch. Over the years, we have seen significant improvements in communication and organization, and the club continues to actively seek feedback to raise the level of services it provides. Training has always been high quality, and access to the fields at Dicks and Aurora Sports Park is a huge benefit. Both girls had exceptional coaches this past year, although our older daughter also struggled through a season when this was not the case. Fortunately, the curriculum, which is implemented across teams, ensured appropriate development even that year when coaching may have been less than stellar. As the club has grown, I have been impressed by the way in which the directors and coaches remain approachable. The staff is clearly committed to each individual player, and as the girls teams have found more success, the club has worked hard to find opportunities to challenge them and provide exposure. We have been very pleased, overall, by our experience with the Rapids.

No loyalty at all. After giving these guys my money for 14 years I asked for a refund over their broken promises and they wouldnt give a dime back. I have spent tens of thousands with them. Be cautious. Dont pay early because your money is gone forever. Lots of drama at the club as well. Pick a different club or a different sport.

I have had my son involved in Rapids soccer since he was 6 (He is now 9). During that time - he has received excellent coaching in a very casual environment. Our son has not found his competitive streak - and that works perfectly well with the Rapids organization. We have easily been able to find a spot where he can grow his skills, and most importantly have fun with his friends! I would recommend any and all children interested in soccer to explore this excellent organization!

My daughter has played for the Rapids competitive program for four years. Shes improved by leaps and bounds, and still loves the game. The training atmosphere is top-notch. Each training session is focused and well crafted to teach a particular strategy or skill. While its not super social like the ol recreational days, the coaches and her teammates always manage to have a good time while still training hard. During the 2015-16 season, she had an excellent coach who pushed her team, taught them a lot, and managed to secure first place in their P1 division. Wins and losses aside, the team improved noticeably, and that is what counts for me. My daughter is also a goalkeeper, so she is lucky to receive specialty instruction for her position from the Rapids 1st team goalkeeper director, Chris Sharpe. He has also motivated her and recommended her for national training centers, which is a stellar opportunity for more GK training and a chance to get on the radar with US Soccer coaches. In addition to putting each players development first, I also appreciate the clubs administrative side. The communications are clear, and youre not flooded with numerous emails about events or trainings. All in all, my daughter and our family have had a really good experience with the Rapids.

We’ve had our kids in a few other local soccer clubs, and the Rapids have exceeded our past experiences in coaching knowledge, technical skill development, organization and overall communication. They’re organized, which is key for parents managing busy households. Our kids learned so much during summer camps in comparison to other clubs’ camps. Highly recommend!

Great organization with the ability to grow as a player within the organization as much or as little as you want. My daughter (now 10 yrs old) has been playing with this organization for 5 years and my son (8 yrs old) for 2, and I have been a volunteer parent coach for 4 yrs in their rec. program. We have had a great experience and when any issues have come up I am always able to talk to someone at Rapids and they have been responsive and helpful. We have found our team placement to always be fair with wins and loses and ties in a season. When my girls were winning all the time they moved up their division within the rec program so they would be challenged again. I have always appreciated the support they have offered me as a volunteer coach from providing weekly practice plans to phone support to answering questions as simple as explaining how to do a push pull. They even come out to your practice fields and provide support on how to run drills and practices effectively for you and your team. I cannot speak to the competitive side of Rapids as we did not allow our daughter to try out for it until this year. She will be playing on the U-12 Burgundy team so I will review next year and let you know how it goes. But I can tell you I am impressed with the direction they are growing in regards to expanding girls soccer within the Rapids and Colorado at a high level equal to what they offer the boys teams.

For kids 8 years or younger this league is a complete waste of money! For the price you pay (uniforms are not included) I expected at least the league to provide the coach (a parent volunteer, not league trained employee) with practice balls, but no. This league also doesnt provide refs for games, or whistles for whatever parent decides to volunteer for the role. Because there are no refs, game rules are not enforced. Additionally, the game facility and parking are insufficient for the number of games they have going at the same time. Plan for a 10 minute walk to your field, if you can even find it and if you can even park in the parking lot. Otherwise you will be walking from the Cornerstar shopping facility. For a supposedly higher echelon league, I am very disappointed in this organization and lack thereof. If you want your kids to have fun and learn the game, save your money and stay in city rec soccer for as long as you can!

Ive been a volunteer coach for my son and daughters Rapids youth soccer team for several years and it was sincerely a joy. Both kids have moved on to more competitive Rapids teams which is the right move, but Ill miss it!Ive been exposed to a number of great coaches and directors at Rapids, especially Kincaid and Ian, and Im impressed with the new ED they brought in this spring. No program is without its flaws, but Rapids has been responsive to any issues Ive had, and I appreciate the overarching goal of growing strong, little people and players vs just winning soccer games.

Every year their recreational staff changes and they continue to remain disorganized. There seems to be a big descrepancy between their level of service for competitive teams and rec teams. There is very little communications for their rec leagues. You are always left guessing when the season will begin, what the schedule will be, who will be your coach. We just realized our childs first game will be in 9 days but they havent assigned a coach, given us a practice schedule or even reached out to the parents since last season. We were not informed that the first game day was coming up. This seems to happen every season.
