I saw Tenet on Labor Day... Not a fan of the movie but felt safe going. They have contactless options for tickets and food and the seats were sanitized and marked that they had been cleaned. Overall great movie experience.

We saw war with grandpa and the sound cut out during the movie. The manager went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, got us into the other showing and gave us a free movie pass. They were very apologetic but they made it right which made the night still good!

They have a good system now to abide by Covid-19 restrictions. For example, you order food at the bar or through an app instead of a waiter coming to you at your seat. They then deliver the food once its ready. I had trouble with the app as it wouldnt take my card info. Besides, that small hassle, everything else went smoothly.The food quality or options could have been better. I had a burger and fries and it was dive bar quality. For the price, it could have been a little better. This was an issue I personally had with movie tavern even before these Covid-19 restrictions.Seats were clean and sanitize and taped over. Once you sit, you break the seal. That was a good idea by their management.

The seats were huge recliners and very comfy! I would say the food is expensive, but if you go on discount Tuesdays its not too bad of a trip for the family. The tables in the handicap area can be moved and a stroller can be parked nicely there to keep the kids strapped in.

Comfortable seats. The popcorn had a lot of butter on it. Yummy. There was about 10 people. We saw Jaws.

If you go to the movie tavern, buy your tickets and food online to save waiting. They are running on a short staff. Food can be ordered so its ready when you get there. Or at least order popcorn and drinks that way!

Today on Valentine’s Day the seats were clean, the setting was good, the issue was that it took over 40 min to take our order today. The server said he did not see us along with another couple. The food and drinks were brought out after that but after 20 min they told us one of the foods was unavailable. The staff and management did take care of the meal and we appreciated that but the delay was driving my wife crazy. We made the best of the night and hope to visit again.

It was rly good during the pandemic.

Easy to find, staff is usually super friendly but slow. It seems like they are trained to never refill anything, even if someone pushes the button. The prices are outrageous, as are all concessions at movies. The brownie ice cream sundae is amazing, the brownie is thin but I think that is what makes it so good. Usually clean and comfortable. The worst part is the parking. The parking spaces are so tiny its nearly impossible to escape without damage.

Purchased tickets and selects our seats online. Showed the QR code on my phone to the employee at the podium. We got right in to our seats very quickly. My daughter and I ordered food. It was a little expensive but not as bad as I thought it would be and it was very good. Every thing about the viewing the movie was great, screen size, sound, and no distractions.

We came here for an early day movie. The food was great and the staff did a fantastic job in taking care of us. We like coming here and know that the place always looks clean.

Theatre wasnt really cleaned from the prior movie, I had spilled drink and a cherry stem on the table for my seat. The seat cushion was lop-sided from use and needed to be replaced. Watched a war movie in theatre 10 and could often hear the sounds from the theater next to us. Server was great though!

Great menu options. Comfortable seating with cushy leather recliners. Only complaint is that my party got their orders and halfway through the movie I still hadnt gotten my order. I had to call the server to remind her.

Unfortunately movie theaters have a lot of people pass through their bathroom. Its a throw up if youre going to get a clean room or not, as its like people purposely miss the urinals. Not a terrible bathroom, and theyve got the good hand dryers but its been covered in filth too often for me to give it a great review.

Food is great. Service Was Great. Its the same typical movie Theater/tavern place but except it has good food that is equal to a restaurant. Hence, it is pricey all due to the fact that all movie theater foods are expensive. So If Dining in while watching your movie is the que then go for it.

Great theater. Love the $5 Tuesday special. Comfortable reclining deets with plenty of space. Its our go to. Also nice to have seat service with a full bar.

It was good! My waiter was pleasant, my food and beverages were delivered in a timely manor and the theater was clean. Really cant ask for much more.

We have been going here for a long time and used to really like it. Now that its under new ownership its not good. The prices have increased a lot and the service has went downhill. One of our meals was brought out cold after an hour wait, another meal was never brought out and when we asked about it they said they were out of that item. When a movie ticket costs $15 and you order a $16 mac and cheese it should be awesome, but it was not.

Nice place, good food. This place has a bar as soon as you walk in. In order to get food, drinks, or snacks, you have to sit down in your assigned chair where your movie will play. There is not a concession stand where you have to wait in line. There was a lot of space between each row.

We enjoy going to dinner and a movie all at the same time.The food is pretty good but way over priced.Love the comfortable seats and beating to choose our seats in advance and know that there is plenty of room between seats.Would prefer a way to pay at the end of a movie without having the servers come through.

Tuesday nights are our favorite FREE popcorn. Food is a little pricey but you can have dinner and a movie.Movies are for a great price.The seats go back with lots of leg room.

Well this is still a great place to have a beer and watch a movie but honestly the quality of the food is not what it used to be before it became a Marcus theater. But I still love the atmosphere and the staff is wonderful.

Nice comfy seating with extendable leg rests, good food and drink selection, good size screen, good audio. I had asked for the food to come first and the drink later, but somehow that got confused and they brought it all at once. Not a big deal. I dont go to the movies often but this is usually my first choice.

Movie Tavern is a good quality place to get a meal, while watching a movie in a comfortable recliner. (Our waiter, JD, took good care of us.) The food is not over the top, best quality, but it is good quality at a good price.

Disappointed with the change in their food. We used to come here because it was so good. We decided to give it a few more tries, but everything is frozen then cooked. The chicken sandwich was a frozen round pick wand tasted drenched in fryer oil. Weve tried the burgers a few times and they are frozen patties as well with dried out buns. Ranch has no flavor. We have decided to give up on what used to be a place we enjoyed. Please change the quality of your food, for a price of 15.00 for one burger, it should be hand pressed and grilled. And a chicken Patty should never be round.

Went here with a family member who loves this theater. Maybe I just went on a bad day, but it was one of the worst theaters Ive been to. It felt dirty and slightly run down. Screen was small. Lights didnt turn off until 3 minutes into the movie. Ordered a water, a soda and a bag of popcorn and it took about 30 minutes to get it.I just didnt have an enjoyable time at all.

Exceptional food but a little expensive! Arrive early order the food and eat while you watch the movie. Its a nice way to get out of the house. A great feature here is the comfortable reclining seats. If you sit in the front you can lean back the seat and tilt your head up to see the screen. Of course, there is also a table to set your food and drink on. You can order an alcoholic beverage just buy pushing a button.

I’ve loved this theatre for years but recently the food is terrible and expensive. Screens are small and sound is not that good. There are several similar theatres that offer a better experience.

The service was good, the seats are comfy. The food is way over priced. The game day platter had wings, 3 sliders and cheese covered fries they were way too salty, the seasoning was way too much. We paid 62 dollars for the game platter 4 drinks and a large popcorn, a theater is always expensive tho.

The establishment is overpriced. We had four adults in our party and the tab was $90.00 dollars. Its definitely under new management. In addition, if youre a water drinker, plastic cups are used (bad) and you must fill them up before being seated in the theater. If you need a refill you have to get up and get it. My thought is water is free, the staff is paid per hour so serving you free water isnt cost effective even if you buy their overpriced food. Also, it seemed to me that their staff was reduced. They dont have many servers. I dont know if the new management cut overhead or if employees left on their own. It is slow, orders are not complete and the food is overpriced. I recommend eating somewhere else and just paying for the movie.

Hey theyve stepped up the cooking!! My wifes steak was really quite tasty, I did the tavern burger with bacon which was packed with flavor very juicy yum! We had a nice waitress too!

I went the entire movie without seeing a single server. So there I sat, menu in hand, hoping to at least be able to get that free drink the girl at the ticket booth had promised when I signed up for the rewards program. When I was leaving there was another customer waiting to have their ticket check, but no one was around to check it and direct them to their theater. I hope she didnt want food. Two stars because the theater was clean.

I love the comfortable reclining seats (that have cup holders and trays for food), the surround sound, the staff is very polite, and the food is always good! Sometimes to food takes a while to get there but thats understandable when theyre busy.

The bartender was terrible, he couldnt even read our Ids correctly. Then we go into the empty theatre to watch our movie as we were the only people in the theatre. Then we order over priced food and finished eating. Then we attempted to order another beer and we were told by a punk kid he didnt feel comfortable serving us? WTH! Needless to say we were dumbfounded at the treatment we received as the only paying customers. So we politely left.

I love Movie Tavern and has always had a great experience! The reclining seats are super comfortable, the food is delicious, and the service is always good. Im so glad I live close by and can make this my go to theater.

Enjoyed the movie Lion King in a relaxing atmosphere. The recliners were comfy and the food was better than I expected. Servers were friendly and efficient. I will definitely return.

They have a new policy on the size of purses you can bring in which I completely understand. They sent me back to my car but let the next lady through who had a backpack which I thought was strange but whatever. Food has been changed since they joined Marcus theaters, some for the better, the pizza and chicken has been downgraded. Service is always good though which is a plus.

Today we came to see the bad boys 1110 pm. It was frustrating because, they took a hour before they even acknowledged that our light was on..though Im not sure if it was cause they saw me waving them down. So by that time we decided we only wanted drinks.. they once again never came back. So we had to get up and miss 15 mins or more? Trying to get them to find our order, then giving us our money back so yes pretty upset..

I need to come here more often, especially with the lack of time in my life! Tickets arent ridiculously expensive like AMC or Regal, and the food here is actually decent! Also a great place for a good drink while doing nothing but watching a movie.

We went to movie tavern last night and it was one of the worst customer service experience we’ve ever had. We got there about 45 minutes before the movie started and the bartender told us that it was better if we order food from the theater so we’re not rushing, even though we told him that we had plenty of time, we thought he was doing something nice but then we realized that he just didn’t want to deal with food. It was a late show so the place was pretty empty by then, we went in there and after hitting the service light and took them 30 minutes to get our order. We asked our server Taylor when the kitchen closes because we might try to order more food. They brought the food and a few minutes later we hit the service light again to try to order more food and she never came for over an hour until she dropped off the check during the movie. Definitely the company that bought this place has a lot of work to do.

Your average movie theater with food. The seats were comfy, 2 appetizers took 30 minutes to come out, $7 beers, $17 tickets... In my opinion, Alamo is better.

The service was horrible. My son and I arrived 45 minutes before the movie was to start. We waited 15 minutes to have our order taken. It then took another 45 minutes to bring our food and even though we ordered first, we were served our food last. And I only had had ice cream. 45 minutes to put 3 scoops of ice cream in a bowl. Need better staff. I would give them a minus 1 if I could.

Worst customer service!. Came to see Like a Boss at 4:20 when the guy at the box office was so rude toNot even want to hear our questions. Turns out “Google” didn’t update their showtimes so we had to leave to another movie theater. Teach you employees how to greet guest. SO RUDE! Won’t be coming back

The service is pretty much trash. I sat there for 25 minutes because “If you need anything push the button” I shouldn’t have to wait 25 minutes before someone comes down because they seen our row of 5 people was lit up. Then once the girl came. She tried to tell me they don’t take cash which is a lie. Then I get my order and it’s all the way wrong. The movie was great. I’ve been a Jumanji fan since the original movie with Robin Williams but no I won’t be coming back and I won’t refer anybody to go here. They’d be better off going to an AMC or eating before hand.

It was pretty good except,they took forever to bring us our food. Also,the movie was so loud I couldnt even think. It hurt my ears. Other wise,it was okay.

Do not order food here! We have been regular customers since before they became the Movie Tavern, and have had many enjoyable experiences. The last few years have been horrible. We get there a half hour early as recommended, so we can get our food before the movie starts. Today was the worst - after waiting for 10 minutes for the theater to be cleaned, we were second into the theater, hit our lights before we even sat down, and were probably tenth waited on. When we asked our waitress why, she replied that the lights dont always work. I ordered a Guiness in a can, and the server brought just the can, no glass. I asked for a glass and it never showed up. My beer was flat and not quite cold. We asked for ranch dressing, also never showed up. The food is expensive and mediocre at best. The servers were nice enough, but could not make up for the negative parts of this visit.

Comfy chairs, the staff are pretty quick and attentive to your needs, I was pleased with my experience. Ill definitely be going again.

Ive always enjoyed going here with the family. Mornings you can catch breakfast. Evenings, dinner drinks and a flick.

Always takes 3-4 times to bring the ranch that is SUPPOSED to go with the appetizer. And pretty much anything else you order, you have to keep asking multiple times before it actually comes out. I mean, theyre not being malicious, but its just bad service.

I really liked the sound and movie quality but I dont recommend ordering food at this movie theater. My food was cold and the couple next to keep talking the whole time. So I just got up and sat somewhere else...

Took my granddaughter to see Dumbo. Theatre was clean, the bathrooms were pretty clean and the staff was warm and friendly. Food was just okay. A bit pricey but overall experience is very positive.

The staff dont come around when they have to. I waited 35 minutes for my popcorn and 2 drinks. Then u push the button for someone to come and they never do.

This place was my first dine in theater experience. Kind of ruined other theaters for me because this place is so great. I visit here whenever I can because the movies are great, and I love eating a full meal while drinking a beer and watching a nice movie.

This place is one good renovation away from being spectacular. The staff is friendly and quick! The food was as described, but it’s rundown venue made me uneasy about where the food was coming from.

We haven’t been to a Movie Tavern since we were last in Denton TX. I took my other half on a date night around the corner of our house in Aurora CO to see the sequel to one of her favorites, Bad Boys. The server was new but doing well for what he was up against. The seats were comfortable and honestly, I don’t do theaters. The crowded, loud, smelly room does not fare well with my nerves. I was stepping out of my comfort zone this evening and In the end I actually wasn’t waiting for the show to conclude. Usually I’m sweating in suspense of the credits scrolling making it okay to make my escape. Not tonight! On the way out she said “that’s the best movie experience I’ve had in years.” No anxiety for me, and she had a blast. Totally worth it. Thanks, Movie Tavern!

Good movie theater. Reclining seats, good popcorn. The food is very pricey! A number of years ago the food was less expensive, you received larger portions, and I actually used to order the chicken strips kids meal! Now they have revised the menu. Customer service with the Servers that I have experienced is not as good as it used to be. The prices are expensive, with smaller portions. I continue to see movies, enjoy my time, the reclining seats, crochet up a project, get some popcorn and a beverage, and Im good. Enjoy. CAB

The idea that they bring everything to your seat is cool but in a full movie they are slow. It sounds like a restaurant with all the delivery eating and moving around during the movie. The screens arent as big as AMC so the moving around is noticable.

The movies are great, service was off forgot to bring my change back to me half way through the movie...
