Good place to watch a movie but dining in is a bit questionable. They only offer typical movie items like popcorn and nachos. Maybe its a covid thing. I did like the reclining seats. You arent jammed in like a conventional movie theater. Commercials before movie are deafening loud. I will probably return and see more movies there.

Clean location customer service good. Theater very spacious seats comfortable would be a plus if they were heated. Too pricey, purchase small water, small popcorn small drink $19.95. More than likely will not visit this location again too expensive.

The bartender was really nice and competent. The dressing is nice and our family enjoyed it. The food it good but not a lot of options. Their were two options.

This is a very good theater, despite the lack of premium options such as Dolby Cinema or IMAX. First time Ive been to the theater in a while and the staff are incredible. The theater is nice and clean and feels very nice. The screens are also big in the auditorium which is nice. I would recommend going to this theater if you want a good experience

Always my favorite theater.The theater is always welcoming when we enter and they always have someone to greet you at the door to scan your electronic tickets so you can bypass the main counter. The atmosphere of the theater is clean with good customer service, but remember it does get busy.There is a kitchen so that you can order food (I highly recommend joining the AMC A List - because if you do they will deliver your food to you in the theater which is awesome and convenient). The kitchen, of course, has your movie basics like popcorn and candy - but they also have items like nachos, pretzel bites, chicken tenders and more. They also have a really decent bar for the adults too. I love that they have special drinks for movie releases as well.The reclining seats are by far my favorite out of all of the theaters as they truly recline and are very comfortable. They recline like a lazy boy and allow you to really feel relaxed. I recommend row G if you can get it - it makes for the perfect view and experience. The seats are also really roomy and they are sectioned in two so it makes for a little bit more of a private experience without smelling the popcorn off your neighbors breath.Overall love the theater and the experience and the assigned seating. The app makes the experience even easier.

I’m not one to take the time to write a review. But unfortunately I’m very irritated. I bought tickets on the AMC southlands website, I filled it all my information correctly and it claimed that there was an error. I did not receive my tickets but it had no problem taking the money from my account. What I’m really upset about is the customer service. I called to ask what the deal was and they were no help. They couldn’t explain why it took money from my account but I did not receive my tickets. The gentleman knew I was upset but failed to make up for the mistake. He was a horrible manager

Way overpriced! Food options are extremely limited. What we did order was so small we were hungry through the entire movie and we still paid nearly $70 for a movie date night. Based on this experience, we wont be going out to movies ever again.

Although the way of the world is different now, the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Huge, cushy reclining seats, book ahead seating so you dont have to come early to buy tickets (easily cancelable, too), and foid service to your seat... just some of the reasons we love this movie theater. Its tge only one we go to.Its in a lovely outdoor center filled with restaurants, shops, and water displays you call stroll around before seeing a movie. In the winter, they bring in an ice rink, too.After coming here, youll be sooilt for all other movie theaters.

I am very disappointed with the food at AMC Southlands! When it reopened with the dine in, the food was very good and fresh! But the last few times the food has been cold, missing items to the meal, didn’t finish our food and it just was not appetizing! Last night was the last straw, we got The nachos last night with the cheese cold and clumpy almost like it just came out of the cooler. The avocado chicken sandwich we ordered had no avocado and cold. The side salad had no dressing and when we ask the delivery person he never came back. Going forward I will be eating at any of the fine places around southlands. I would Suggest eating before you go to the movies now! Sorry, long time stubs member!

Its a movie theater. Sure, it has a bar and wait staff that will bring food orders to your seats, which is the real treat: reclining seats. Yes, the seats are extremely comfortable and the movable trays are convenient.

The concept is a good idea but the execution is horrible. Combing a line to order food and normal concessions is flawed. The line was so long and all I wanted was popcorn and a drink. If you didnt get there at least 45 minutes ahead of your movie you would never make your movie in time and who knows if you would have gotten your food by the end of the movie. Landmark Theaters have this concept correct. Let people get their own popcorn and soda and take orders at the seats and deliver it.Customer service here is the worst. Kids who could care less about their jobs. Kind of a reflection of management here. Need to avoid this mall crowded theater. Not worth the horrible experience.

Compared to Movie Tavern, filthy. Sticky trays, absolutely caked drink holders (that cant be used unless the trays are flipped out), popcorn embedded in the seats, etc. Patrons stand in long lines to order way overpriced boxed-lunch-style meals or sodas. No ordering at seats. Also, very little space for purses/coats. This theater is ok... maybe better than a traditional theater experience, but not much like the dine-in movie experiences you can find elsewhere.In fairness, the screens are great and in pristine condition with very clear viewing, and they did not have the sound so unbearably loud it blasts you out of your seats; the actual viewing experience was perfect, as long as you can overlook that you are sitting in a sticky, crumby mess (thus the two-star review vs a one-star review).We will only come back if it is our only available option. Its not awful; its just not great. This review is based on a single visit; not repeated.

This theater is very nice in appearance. It has a bar for adults and a kitchen so that you can order food which offers more variety than your usual popcorn and hot dogs. To make things even better they will deliver food, drinks, and adult beverages to your seat in the movie theater. Its definitely one of my favorite movie theaters.

Its a nice theater. The reclining seats are nice. The options for food is nice. Knocking two stars off because their seats are too close to the screen and most of their theaters are very small. If you dont reserve tickets way in advance the only options are seats that will leave you with a sore neck. Not cool.

Overall, we love this theater. Clean, well maintained. Staff is nice to work with. Safe area to be with lots of external happenings. Summer time the fountains out in front and winter the ice skating rink. Shopping right there and restaurants as well. Great atmosphere.

For my first time going to a theater of this type it was a very pleasant experience. Seats were roomy and reclined just like a Lazy Boy! I didnt order dinner, but it was cool to have that option. Assigned seating makes for a low stress experience. I would recommend, and will go again!

They spend all the money to renovate but do not take care of the place. There was popcorn all over the place when we first walked in. Bartender was super slow too. When Im spending top dollar for something I expect a top dollar product. This was not it. Must do better!

Seats are fine, the biggest issue here is the cost. 4 tickets, 3 small drinks, 2 small popcorn, order of pretzel bits and a box of candy for over $100 is a good reminder why we dont go out to the movies much anymore. Not to mention the 20 minutes of commercials.

Super comfortable chairs and plenty of room. Service is slow however and being forced to order at the counter and wait in line vs ordering from your seat lost stars for me. Consider adding the order ability to an app on your phone or at seat ordering for a better experiance. Also before my movie and during the middle of film the kitchen was at a 1.3hr delay, this combined with the larger gentleman with the huge beard hovering over everyones food without a beard net on did not seem very appealing. But the theater itself was nice and comfortable. Great screen and sound.

We were here late night and parking was terrible!Cinnamon pretzels was the worst i had. They were cold, hard and hardly no cinnamon powder. We even asked for extra cinnamon, and nothing. Tasted like cardboard.The oreo shake had lots of oreo chunks in the bottom but the shake did not come with a spoon.And they did not give us napkins either.They were suppose to deliver our food to us, and they did around 30 minutes into the movie.Typical reclining seats with movable table.Hope your experience will be better than mine.Thanks for reading..

Great selection of movies and very nice recliner seats. But, its a movie theater and they will charge you $10 for a bag of skittles. Very pricey but nice.

Its really nice, comfortable seating, swing tables, spacious. The nachos however, those were 14$ for just chips. It hardly had any topping, that was disappointing. I should have taken a picture of that. Probably wont buy food there again.

Bought tickets for a 2:15 pm showing. At 2:25 they started playing ads for thirty minutes, some ads were repeated two or three times. Then there was twenty minutes of previews. The movie started around 3:30 pm. No one wants to sit through an hour of ads and wait an hour after a movies start time to actually see the movie. There was also a woman sneezing and coughing through the entire movie. Gross.

We moved here from Delaware over a year and a half ago, and since we found this theater we havent gone anywhere else. The location is great, we are members of their A-List. They have bags for splitting the popcorn, which is great for us, as my husband is severely allergic to milk (to the point we cant even butter his popcorn), and I love butter. My daughter has also had problems with their butter.The seats are in pairs, so if you go as a couple, or with a kid who likes to cuddle when watching a movie, you can raise the middle armrest and cuddle. Between each pair of seats is a table like spot, that I find great for putting coats or my purse on, so it doesnt invade my seating space.And the fact that we have reserved seating works out great. Weve been to a movie or two where there were theater hoppers who were sitting in our seats. They didnt want to move, and only did so when I told them I would go see an attendant about it. They then bounced around 4 more different pair of seats before I actually did see an attendant, because they obviously didnt have seats to the movie and were inconveniencing people who had not only paid, but reserved their seats.The only thing I dislike is their sparkling water uses aspartame. I only drink water or sparkling water, but even a little aspartame will give me a solid migraine for two days and I feel like the poisonous substance is destroying brain cells. So I am really glad they offer complimentary water/ice cups, as I will fill those up with ice and a little water.This is a great theater!

Thus is my favorite theater for movies. The main things I enjoy about this particular movie theater would be the super comfortable seating. Each chair is large and reclines (as far as I know they all do) and it makes sitting through a movie very comfortable. Second, the food always seems to taste great. I really enjoy eating a meal and watching a movie. Prices are decent...could be worse if you ask me. The drink prices are steep... But nice to enjoy a beer with my meal. We always make reservations online, so we know which seats we have in advance. An excellent place to see a movie!

Great theater with stadium seating, dining, always very clean, a bar and plenty of local shopping. There are several other dining establishments nearby if you prefer to eat before the movie.

The jalapeno burger actually was pretty good. This is not your typical movie theater food. The hamburger was super juicy and had decent flavor. It was a little bit of a challenge to eat in the dark so be prepared to get a little messy. Just as a warning, it is a $14 Burger. Bathrooms and the theater could use better cleaning.

This is The Best movie theatre Ive Ever been to.I think the younger employees need to learn some respect...But this place is Great.A younger blonde girl walked up and loudly dropped my food onto my table and said Here you go, sir. Then walked off.But other than that, the staff were Very nice...The bartender was Awesome...And the cashier was Smart.There Are actually automatic recliners in here, they Actually bring your food right to you (you just have to tell them your seat number), and its Very comfortable in the movie auditorium.This place has my recommendation.

In-Seat food service, you still order at the counter and then ages later they bring you the food while almost spilling it on you in the process. This place is a joke.

First and last time going go South lands 16 to see a movie.On Opening night we went to this theater to see The Joker. We were in theater #5 Broken seats B7 & B8. Which we did not know were broken when we purchased the tickets online.There was not indication the seats were broken. The ticket sells guy in the booth was not helpful and was just kind of there.The Theater was not the cleanest nor were the Employees very friendly. This will be my first and last time going to this movie Theater.Bad choice to go see a movie..Movie Tavern we will be back to see you soon...

Even though it is far from where I live, this is a place more than a theater. The sofa is very comfortable with the sense of safety and comfort! The sofa is much more better than a lot of AMC’s. The counter provides small cups for people who just want to bring some water inside, like me. Very sweet experiences in this place every time! Thank you guys for working so hard to provide us such a good experience beyond watching a movie.

This theater is clean and customer service is wonderful. The prices are the reason for the low rating. A movie is typically $10. Food $15 and I treated myself to a glass of wine. It was $16. I wanted to decline but the bartender had already poured the glass. Either drink it or it goes to waste. If I choose to return to this location it will only be to watch a film. No food or drinks for me.

I come to this theatre 1-2 times a week. I have the A List membership which saves me tons of money! All the food I’ve had has always been good. The customer service is also really good. I know a lot of people in the surrounding cities come to this theatre because of the amenities.

Overall it was a good experience. I took my younger cousin to see the new Lion King movie today (8/3/19). It has been ages since I’ve been to the movie theater, so it was an interesting surprise to have reserved seating. I bought my tickets online. The price of tickets goes up the later in the day you go. They scanned my phone when we got to the theater and we were in.Waiting in the line for concessions was a pain. They only had one register open and the people in front of us were taking their sweet time ordering. 2 large drinks and a large popcorn was almost $25. Ouch! Having the coke machines out in the common area was nice so you didn’t have to stand in line for a refill.The theater was very clean. The reclining seats were awesome! Definitely like the fact that there is enough room for a person to walk by without having to stand up so they can get through.Will definitely come back...especially for low cost early showings. Just may forego concessions at those prices.

Usually its nice, the last time I went I was treating my mom to a movie here to see the movie Judy. I went to get the drinks at the bar to get her a glass of wine and a glass of water and the bartender handed me two small Dixie cups of water. I asked her if I can get full sized cups and she said no we are too busy and then slammed my receipt on the counter. I feel like they need to maybe have a better system there if theyre going to be serving people especially for the prices that are being charged. Movie was great, service was horrible.

The only thing I had a problem with was the hand blowers in the bathroom. I couldnt dry my hands cause the 2 I tried didnt work. I walked over to where they usually have towels and none probably because everyone was using because the dryers didnt work. I had to walk over to concession stand to get napkins. Other than that everything was perfect.

This movie theater is GREAT! It has reserved seating, with comfy recliners, and everything is well-maintained, modern and clean. You can order food in the lobby (dont worry, the line moves fast) that gets delivered direct to your seat, and the food is quite good. Its a fun place for a family outting, with a beautiful park-like setting outside, surrounded by the Southlands shops and restaurants.

My overall experience was great. Options to do refills would be nice and having the tables so close it not easy, kinda awkward to eat anything. If this location would allow ordering via the button or their site. I would have done ice cream. I wasnt leaving the great movie to do so though. Also, what is the point for the cup holder under the table?? Not thought out...

Good food and drinks. Very pricey, $11 for a large beer. The teenage kids that work there dont take any pride in their work and dont clean up as well as they should.

Do not eat here unless your insurance is paid up!! A few bites into our meals, we all noticed the meats werent right. By that, Im referring to the consistency as well as the temperature. When we brought it to the food service manager, his response wasOh, Wow, Yeah Ill check it out. Not even an apology or asking for details of anything about a $70.00 purchase!! Really??? 17 years in restaurant management and 12 food safety classes allows me the knowledge of PHF, (Potentially Hazardous Foods) as well as temperature safety guidelines and what it means to stay in business!! I will absolutely not be back

Comfortable reclining seats. There is a tray for food which I used for my purse. The rows are spaced wide enough and high enough so you dont have to worry about distractions from the people around you. No one can kick your seat or block your view. Picture quality and sound were perfect.

Self serve drink area is always a disgusting mess. The last three times we have been here they have been out of almost all the flavors for drinks. Have the basics but out of cherry, vanilla, orange etc. They were sold out of a large selection of candy. We have been coming to this theater for the last 5 years, and it has gone downhill fast. Will not be returning.

I love AMC and the monthly deal. You can see three movie a week at any AMC location for around $22, plus you get perks. Its such a great deal. Now to this theater. I love the seats. I dont like that sometimes the cup holder isnt on both side, if you share a drink with your partner it can be awkward without a cup holder in between you and them. Sometimes the soda area is a hot mess, so it losses a star for me, ew. The other down fall with AMC all around is the half hour of previews. It is a lot. Cut that in half and I would be way happier.

Saw the new Terminator movie here. Cleanliness is always an issue in the restroom at this location. The lobby floors are sticky from spilled soda and there was gum under the chair table and cup holder. Kinda gross.

Love going here, lots of room feels like home, the chairs are very comfortable, you will like great for all ages great for kids

I must say that with being the second time at this theater I was highly disappointed with the quality level of soda machine area with trash bins full, spills on the countertops. Then to make it even worst in the Male bathroom 4 out of 5 urinal stalls had out of order signs on them, no paper towels to dry hands, soap dispensers were close to empty. I think that I will be taking my business somewhere a little more kept up.

Beautiful theater! Comfortable and spacious ~ a little on the pricier side but if you see an early movie (before noon) price is very reasonable! Not to mention, the management is very nice and accommodating!! So far my experiences have been superb!

Great place for movies, but would highly recommend to just get any food that isnt popcorn nearby as Southlands has many good places that will cost the same but food will be warm and good tasting.

We went to see IT2. The usual crowd there, teens, families and couples on dates. Really wish they had a better quality of food to serve and more reasonable prices.

This is our go to movie theater. Great comfy seats. Yummy popcorn. Tuesday $5 specials.My biggest complaint is the hand dryers are on the sink themselves. I dont know what genius came up with that idea but he must have been super high that day or has never washed his hands in his life. Im assuming it was a man that made this design since most men dont wash their hands after using the restroom. Anyways about these dryers, you wash your hands, leave them in the same spot and it blows air to dry your hands but at the same time it blows all the water in the sink right at you so you end up walking out of the bathroom with a wet shirt and pants..... Really???!?!?!?! Time for a new plan AMC...

Movie great, always go, one time I get food its $60 dollars for a burger, chicken tenders, and an oreo milkshake. The burger sucked, tenders were OK and shake tasted like it was watered down??? Yeah great movie theater, dont order food. Just eat before or be sneaky sneaky if you want.

Ive enjoyed coming to this theater ever since the Southlands mall first opened in 2006. Even during and after the massive renovations they went though a year or so ago, the place has always been one of the cleanest and most well maintained theaters Ive been to.Even during the weekends the crowds arent too bad at all, and I cannot stress how much I love being able to reserve specific seats for a movie, even a couple days in advance, so I dont feel a need to rush to get good seats for a movie.I really like the addition of the Bar and Food they added too. But just like all the other concessions at theaters, theyre a little pricey, and theres plenty of restaurants surrounding the area where you could get a much better meal for the prices they offer.But that aside, my friends and I still enjoy coming to this theater often.

Best customer service from a manager or supervisor named Stephen. I messed up my movie time and he got me into the next showing once I did arrive. They always help me out and make things right and I love that! The theater is also very clean and the food is always great!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED with no apology. It shouldn’t take 30 minutes to get tickets for an afternoon movie. I didn’t have any special requests or questions. I just wanted tickets. Our fun family adventure turned disastrous. For $60 and elevated blood pressure, it definitely is not worth it. There are too many other options to ever return to the Southlands AMC. They need employee training or new employees if they want to stay in business. Pass!

Was the best place to see movies. Now not so much. No one outside to sell tickets. If you needed to buy them, you came inside and stood in line with the prepaid tickets. Next was the concession line. Two open, one of course is the Stubs Premium line. Ordered and got seated. Food came out wrong, and now is delivered under a large plastic container. I dont have room to put the unused container..The Southlands AMC was a great theater. NOT SO MUCH NOW.

Never go to the small theaters theres always something broken, the normal sized and large ones are regularly maintained.

Anything regarding service here is ungodly slow. It would be faster if they just got vending machines. So slow we missed not only the previews but the fist 10 minutes of the movie just for a couple drinks and some sourpatch kids. Keep in mind we showed up 20 minutes before the show time. Management and staff here really suck at their jobs.

I love this theater but the food we ordered, ultimate nachos, was absolutely dreadful. The two ladies sitting next to is ordered the same and both thought the same thing. The whole thing was very sloppily put together and cold when we got it. Unfortunately I really dont want to order food there after this and the last time I ordered and the food wasnt put together well either. Im not expecting gourmet food but it should be somewhat edible for the $12 you pay for nachos. I wish I could have taken a picture but the movie was starting so I couldnt.

AMC is a good place to go chill watch movies take your mind off of work and everythinga good place to find sexy women sometimes they do come through the movie theater every now and then on the other hand definitely in this area Southlands has a lot to offermost definitely also that I remember every Tuesday and it is $5 movies make sure you sign up to be an AMC stubs member and dont forget to get that popcorn and shes very good also check out the women too as well hehe lol

The food is actually really good! The Royal burger and pretzel bites are delicious. Theater is clean and staff is friendly. Drinks at the bar are great (and strong!) Wish you could order from your seat, and if your order apps or dessert it all comes at once, but otherwise this is a great choice for dinner and a movie!

Have never had a problem here. Food is good. Their new nachos are amazing. Theatres are clean. And with reserve seating were can just relax at get to our seat on time.Only thing i can say, its awesome they have alchohol, and thats great but way, way over priced. A beer is 11 bucks, and thats too much even for night club town town.That my only negative. Other than that...hreat!!

The food is really good and its an overall good place to go on a date or just a group of friends. The reclining seats are comfortable and theyre usually not that dirty. They serve alcohol and bring you everything during the advertisements playing before the movie starts. I have yet to be disappointed the times that Ive come here.
