Very different feel to the part of Atlantic City that we all know and love. I have to say it has an old-style Village feel to it with a bit of Waterfront all I have to say is come down check it out see for yourself its very relaxing and also can be very beautiful and very fun I think tear is enjoyment for all ages there are restrooms here as you can see there are restaurants also bars also fishing piers like I said something for everybody to come out and enjoy the Atlantic City Aquarium physically so here

Went on the Dolphin watching boat tour. 2 hrs long. If you want to see dolphins. This is your place. We had to have seen over 100 dolphins. Maybe we were just a bit lucky. But there were everywhere. Schools of them. Then as the boat speeded up they were swimming and jumping in the wake of the boat.

What an awesome waitress! Amber She was amazing considering our table consisted of 9 guests. Young & Bright!!! Food was Dee-lish Definitely bringing my mother back again so its just us. ️

We went parasailing down near here. What a nice place and we had a great time.

It was fun went on a dolphin watching boat ride. And boy did we see dolphins. It seemed like they come right to the boat. It was a wonderful little cruise. Would def go again.

Easy spot to visit by boat. . Just could be so much better. Restaurants are below average. Not much to do there.

Outdoor beer/ alcohol garden, perfect for sunsets and watching the boats idle by. BackBay Ale House is right across the way for snick snacks and more alcohol. For breakfast, Gilchrest has a killer breakfast, specializing in thin pancakes. There is an Aquarium and small shops here as well at Gardeners Basin. Dock your boat in a slip here for the season, and you can drift the inlet in 5 minutes, or pull up to the Cove in Brigantine. Good spot!

The rooms and the hallways were dusty and muggy making it hard to breathe properly. My room specifically smelled. The rooms said no smoking but it smelled like someone was in fact smoking in there. The room and bathroom all in all werent properly cleaned. The elevators smell like piss.

This is a local spot where we all congregate and party. Its usually a great atmosphere and really cool vibes

Came here to find out it was CLOSED!!Called the number they provided to find out information and prices and never did they say it was currently closed. Maybe next time around.

This place is refreshing and relaxing. Boat tours and backbay ale house are a very good combination.

Fish the highrler pontoon boat. Great cspt and mate. Also love the pancakes at Gilchrist. None better.

Visited the beach section and very few people wore mask!!! Thats a problem due to Covid-19. Will not go back anytime soon for safety reasons.

Always a pleasure!We took an Atlantic City Boat tour to Dolphin watch. It was great! We saw Dolphins and had a great time! Great tour and fun times! Then we had lunch at the Basin. Nice time with good food.

We love to spend the day at the basin. Gotta get the seafood from Fish Heads, scrumptious.

Was on vacation doing a NASCAR tracks tour out east and stayed in Atlantic city New Jersey for a week between races and stopped in the historic Gardners basin for something to do we went into the aquarium and got to touch baby stingrays they were so soft would recommend going here if you are in the Atlantic city area

Beautiful little space of restaurants and sites. The Atlantic City Aquarium, located here, is very nice. Beautiful view of a bag full of fishing boats and yachts! Lovely place! Dont miss it!

Fun day out. We road the ferry boat under Brigantine bridge for about 51$ with AAA discount, 3 people. Cute restaurants and bars.

Great little place to visit. There is a bar and a restaurant. The aquarium is a great place for kids as they have a lot of touch tanks. Lots of little learning experiences for the little ones a long the way. Great scenery to take pictures, too.

Checked on Friday before coming, it said they were open, went Tues. And they were closed again.

A friend and I was there to remind people about how awesome Gardners Basin was when we used to have the free R&B and oldies concerts. It was filled with love for music and friendship.It was a place for families and friends to enjoy the vendors, setting up tents and chairs and barbecuing delicious foods while enjoying great entertainment. Were praying that they will bring the concerts back!

The place was very wonderful, my kids enjoy watching the fish and playing with the stingrays. We had a good time, it is a fun place for a family to go visit.

This is a cool little cul-de-sac with a terrific breakfast & lunch spot and a great bar located right across the street. Here, you will find all five of the recommended food groups by the U.S. Dept of Health,..SugarStarchGreaseFatAlcoholGilchrists is terrific and the Back Bay bar is awesome.. Ive spent hundreds $$$ there!

Ot too touristy just a fun place to go for breakfast. Drinks. Or diner. Take a boat ride or visit the aquarium. Ample parking. Gift shops.

Back Bay had good seafood & Mason jars. Sit on deck for a nice view.

Always a great place to go to get some sun, spirits and great food with family and friends. And the boat rides are Everything!

Always enjoy going to Gardeners Basin for dinner at the Back Bay Ale House. Its great catching the sun setting too. Its a shame that the little stores had to close; still unsure why they were forced to do so.

As fishing spot its great, I definitely would not call it a tourist attraction. Unless of course, you want to see people blasting music while they smoke weed and wipe down their tires.

Gardners basin is a hidden gem of AC. There is an aquarium, a couple of restaurants & some small vendor booths selling various items. In the near future, the AC boardwalk will completed all along the inlet connecting GB with the main boardwalk. It should be a great walk/bike ride (maybe tram service). In the meantime, the basin area is a fun way to spend a few relaxing hours (Gilchrists restaurant is great for breakfast - best blueberry pancakes in NJ), out of the hustle bustle of downtown AC.

A beautiful landscape on the water. A nice place to spend the day. Plenty of free, wheelchair accessible parking, too.

A world away from the city!

Been here a few times and every times when I was a kid. And now its still amazing to see what has become of it. Places to eat drink walk and relax on the water.

Food was very good

I love Gilchrist for breakfast. Food is great, service is great, and scenery is beautiful.

The shops, boat ride and the food is all that the people are nice and helpful!

What theyve done here is short of amazing!! Its now a beautiful day trip in Atlantic City. You can go for a boat ride, shop the quaint shops and get some eats! The latter consists of restaurant and other vendor offerings. Its quaint, but not disappointing at all!! A far cry from what the area used to be for sure

I was there before couple years ago. Its present state looks a little rundown. Its definitely not the same.

Rocking all day long with the boat traffic inc. A big tour boat that goes right by. Did get free admission to the aquarium with price of slip- $1.50 a foot.
