The venue that hosts ProgPower USA, one of the best Metal festivals around the world and the longest runner on the USA, the stage is big enough, I love the fact that the first line is pretty nearby to the stage, two bars available, clean bathrooms, confortable seats if you are a sitter. Lights, sound and acoustics are perfect.I want to go back!!
I love this venue when going to see some of my favorite artists. It’s not too big or too small and always gives you an intimate show. I really like how GENADM gives you the option to sit or stand and the crowd is never outrageous. Staff and security are super friendly and helpful as well. My only complaint is the parking deck. There is only one exit and it is such a hassle to leave after the shows. Everyone is literally stuck and then when you get closer to the exit, there’s another ramp below with people trying to come up. I would suggest not parking there if you’re not patient.
Back in 2011, Is Lloyd Polite Jr. at the C. S. T. (Center Stage Theater) to work on his next song of Cupid in his fourthcoming album of King Of Hearts?
More bathrooms and better parking needed, beer lines are the slowest. Smoking area is just the sidewalk. ATM semi functioning. Much better venues in Atlanta these days. Only reason they get a 2 is how intimate the actual concert space is. That is the only positive aspect. I say this as someone who has been here multiple times over the last decade or so. Love seeing bands here, do not love the venue itself and it is always an ordeal. 0.5 star venue 4+ star shows? Awkward.
Great venue! First time there, The padded seats were amazing after driving from Greenville, SC and being stuck in Trump motorcade traffic on a Friday in Atlanta. Devin Townsend was amazing! The only thing that I didnt like was the exit ramp to leave. Its very steep and traffic bumper to bumper on the ramp.
I have now been to this specific theater twice; most recently to see EarthGang and Dreamville, and before that to see drag superstar, Bianca del Rio. I am a multifaceted woman. This venue is nice and very clean and the drinks were a pretty good price. There was a wonderful woman selling pizza and it might be dramatic to say this, but she and her $5 slices saved my very hungry life. The only flaw in this venue is that the seating is on such a steep incline that I feel like Im being left out on an inside joke. If you are like me and dont trust your ankles and are top heavy, take your time shimmying to your seat and proceed with caution.
Nice venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Would recommend to anyone asking. Ticket price is very reasonable for a venue of its size.
Great venue I had the please to visit multiple times. I love that there are bars inside and you have the option to buy tickets on the floor level, super close to the stage. The auditorium is built as an amphitheater, so the acoustic is great. Parking isnt the best, but it is pretty decent and in the same building. Definitely recommend going for an event there.
Favorite venue in the ATL. Not a bad seat. Relaxing and close up. Or you can go to floor to dance/ take pix. And Soul asylum was awesome as ever. And local H was new to me, but LOVED them, too.
I go here most Sundays for worship. My church has a satellite location here. I love the people, atmosphere and fellowship. If you haven’t tried attending Free Chapel - Midtown I encourage you to try it!
A great venue! Its got its own parking but if its a sold out show, get there early for a good spot. They got a bar of course. Its a small setting, its got seats or a space for you to stand near the stage. It might be better than a bigger venue.
This was my first time there. Really cool venue. The way the parking deck is kind of crazy, especially the exit. It was decently priced for the area though. Well definitely be back.
Nice intimate venue with very hard to find parking unless you arrive extremely early.
It has great potential; BUT DONT GET THE SEATS IN G SECTION NEAR THE WALL NUMBERS 5 AND 6 STARTING AT ABOUT ROW G-K!! IF YOU DO YOU MAY MISS THE SHOW! There is very little stage visibility in that part of the room!!Otherwise it is a nice intimate venue for a good concert or other events. Its old it that good kind of way. They have bars and food. The night I went they had big slices of pizza for sale, but I didnt try any.If one of your favorite artist is going to be there... REMEMBER! AVOID THE F@#$*! SEATING IN THE SECTION I ALREADY TOLD YOU ABOUT!!FRFRThe pics Im posting are of the artist I couldnt see. The keyboard is his, and all I could see occasionally were one of his hands or legs.
Center Stage has been around for a long time and it still hosts some of the best events in Atlanta! The security staff here is sharp and on time in the event of foolish behavior. You can feel safe while enjoying libations and a great show or in this case a fabulous costume contest. I highly recommend this venue whether you live in Atlanta or are just visiting!
Venue was staffed appropriately and they all were very helpful and professional. The environment felt safe. Building is a little bit older but the staff and cleanliness made up for that.
The place was hot beyond compare and a death trap, no railings to hold on to going to upper level seating. It was dark and nobody to help you to your seat with a flashlight or anything. If someone missed a stair or fell it would be a disaster. I only gave 2 stars because the comedy performance was great! The venue leaves alot to be desired. Im sure fire codes are not in place.
It was very comfortable and not too big or over crowded. We drove almost three hours for the Christopher Cross Concert which was everything we imagined. We enjoyed Center Stage Theater and will be back.
The concert with Brian was awesome and spirit-filled. Amazing vocalist and anointed. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with his spectacular voice. What a gift from God. The singer that opened for him was extraordinary and totally immersed in his presentation and everyone was totally caught up in the spirit. Bless them to continue their great music ministry.
Been to several shows here, whether youre standing or grab a seat, theres never a bad view of the stage. Most recently saw LP & Kat Cunning here. Great view, great sound, great show!
I was actually attending a Van Hunt show in Vinyl. The staff and support folks are always accommodating, friendly and profession. The sound system is exemplary. The drinks are worth every penny! Great venue for a funky show!
Its quaint (a little old), but theres a good view throughout the theatre (the far left and far right have blind spots, but depending on the show it wont matter). Their ginger ale is strong! The Avery*Sunshine concert I just went to was so amazing. That lady is a gift to this world.
Caught TxT and the show and venue were quite impressive. Seats at the top allowed for an incredible view. Staff were patient, friendly, and helpful.
Sabaton absolutely crushed this arena. The entire 1000 person, sold out at capacity crowd was nuts. The acoustics worked for a metal concert despite the very intimate setting. I would definitely come back for another show of any kind. Theres ample parking day or night and great food in a two block radius.
We went to Vinyl, which is a small club with live stage in the Center Stage building (along with The Loft, the other small venue in the same building). Vinyl is mostly standing only when the place is packed, but this was a smaller teenage rock band (Laundry Day from New York - they are great!) with a smaller crowd (about 50) so there were tables and even a VIP section with comfy chairs that was available. Black ceiling, walls, floor for that classic old school rock club look. Sound was crisp and well-mixed and nice loud volume but not unbearable. Full bar, but this was an all-ages show and majority of crowd was under 21 so no drinking going on. Just a great old school club vibe.
Awesome venue! No bad seats and the acoustics were very good!Highly recommend for any show!
It was nice but the seats are not made for comfort. Drinks were reasonable price. Sadly its only one bathroom for men and women. Sadly no snacks.
Saw Allen Stone here at a sold out show and it was awesome. The venue handled the crowd well and the floor was the place to be. I never felt overly crowded and my group and I had a blast.
Seats are small, but great views of the ring! I had a great time for my first NXT event and I cant wait to come back! Tickets are cheap if you purchase them at the box office so thats the way to go! I didnt like that you have to stand in line outside because it was cold! I did like that you can park right under the center!
Drinks at the concert were good and reasonably priced. Seating was available. I really enjoyed myself.
Great room with seats. Easy parking.
Parking is extremely limited as of winter 2019. There is one parking deck available in the area, beneath the venues. Other nearby parking decks have been found to be closed, permit-only, etc. and very little (
So the Earthgang concert was amazing first of all. As for the actual venue, it was cool. I liked that it was kind of small and intimate. Seemed like there wasnt really a bad seat in the house. They had a standing area for folks into moshing and standing right up on the stage and they had stadium seats for people like me that wanted to be able to chill and vibe. Only downside to the small size was the how INCREDIBLY LOUD it got. My ear were ringing the next morning. I would recommend taking some sort or ear protection. Not sure if it was the venue of if they didnt sound check well.
Very old theater thats in need of some repairs and updates. Although its a small venue, I like the intimate feel. There is a parking garage underneath that is 14.00.
There was not a bad seat in the house. Avery Sunshine is a great artist. I will be going back
Great place, great bands highly recommend
Great music hall and ticket prices were reasonable. It is no Tabernacle but a nice venue all the same. Really there is only 1 tabernacle. The Bands were amazing, Neckdeep, Seaway and Creeper. The staff were helpful when help was needed. However security did not card me at the door like they should have. Bathrooms were clean and attendants came in and made sure all the toilet paper was filled and she was sooo very friendly. Awesome rock venue
Great place to see a show! Not a bad seat in the house! Went for the Joywave and Sir Sly concert.
Nice facilities. Seating feels a bit cramped, but all seats seem to have a nice view of the stage. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare. There is a lot a short walk away around the corner but its not well paved so probably not the best for anyone who uses a walking aid or a wheelchair.
Center Stages capacity is ranges from 900-1050 and the seating feels like a mini auditorium. Parking is available at a deck attached to the venue and goes for $10.
Awesome experience at the SlyWave concert!!! Amazing bands and the sound quality was banging
Nice venue with seating and floor option. Was there for the Epik High concert.
Best little club in the city!!
Perfect spot for entertainment.. ample parking and great staff.. saff Eric Roberson and friends
Nice place! Very spacious and east to see the artist you would like without having binoculars lmao.
An amazing venue for a Rock n Roll festival! Id say for any show! Theres not a bad seat in the house.
Great place to see a concert, which we traveled from Chattanooga to see. Had a blast. Accomidating place and it seemed like all seats had a great view.
Wonderful concert n nice location . We paid 10.00 to park and came out of concert to see our car was booted! Ticket said it was foot til 5:00 am. What the heck!
Good acoustics, good views from all seats. Concert was great. Only downside was uncomfortable seats, some of them need replacing.
This place is amazing!!! I went for an NXT wrestling event in July. I had broken my knee and was in a wheelchair. The manager and all the staff were so accommodating and helpful. I was blown away by everyone and had an amazing night. This place is great as well because there truly is not a bad seat in the place. Even the nosebleed seats are awesome.
Smallest venue I have been to, but I usually see outdoor shows anyway.Place was well organized, clean, and suited for rock/metal concerts.Security did a great job and the staff was very friendly. They were able to get everyone into the building very quickly, so our wait was super short.Drinks were good and I didnt feel ripped off. Was like $5 for a 16oz can of alcohol. Ive been charged double that at other places.
No bad seats. Drinks are reasonably priced. Only negative might be parking for sold out shows.
Overall, this venue is an intimate, up close and personal small concert hall. The sound, to me, wasnt that good, too much feedback. The DJ was fabulous, DJ Stormy, she made the show worth while. My favorites was Tevin Campbell and Lela James. Tevin was outstanding, a very good show and in great voice. Lela is in a class by herself, unfortunately a short set. Tiny, well even her little child couldnt help her, once she brought her on stage. Lets face it, shes in a group and not the lead singer, I see why. I didnt like the fact that the show was listed for a 6pm start, had to wait an additional hour outside in the chill. Not sure what time the show started, but again, thank goodness for the DJ. Any seat in the house is a good seat, next door parking is a big plus. Good drinks, thank goodness.
YOOO this is probably one of my most favorite concert venues. Ive been to many concerts at many venues but this one sits close to, if not at, the top of the list. I saw J.I.D on tour with Deante Hitchcock, Mereba, and Saba. Unless you get there early and claim a spot in the pit, general admission permits you to choose your own seat anywhere in house. And trust me when I say this, there is not ONE bad spot in the entire venue. Its a smaller more intimate experience with the artist which I prefer over huge concert halls and amphitheaters. You can see the face of every person in there, to put the size into perspective. The acoustics are great and the sound is fantastic. Parking in the actual venue itself so thats a huge huge plus. However, just a warning about parking. When we went to the concert, the garage under/apart of the venue was already full so we decided to park in the garage directly across the street. I high advise visitors to NOT do this if parking fills up in the venue. That particular garage closes at 10pm and my friend and I, as well as about 10 other people were completely gated and locked out of the garage following the concert. We were extremely lucky to have someone pull out of the garage, which opened the gate and allowed for us to get to our cars and get out. Please please please find somewhere else to park! I dont want someone else to have to deal with this situation. This is not a complaint and has nothing to do with the actual venue itself, hence the 5 star rating. Its a wonderful venue that all types of people can enjoy.
Cool intimate theater. We saw the Moth Atlanta story slam and it was great. It was a cash only bar but they had a container of water that was serve yourself, which was great!
Christopher Cross -awesome show.
Unfortunately I can’t leave zero stars :( Horrible due to customer service. Idk if they think theyre security is still in korean but I experienced a lot of racism during this concert. Paid over $100 for VVip and was treated horrible couldnt even speak to a manager. These officers listed below are the most horrible experience ever. Hopefully never endure that type of racism again but it was truly traumatizing.
Loved it. Great seats parking was a breeze.
Great venue and not a bad seat in the house. Parking was full so we went a few blocks away and parked for free at the Dunkin donuts garage.
The show I attended was on the Vinyl stage, really cool atmosphere, staff was on point with security which was actually comforting. Great venue!
Good venue, excellent sound, friendly staff and bartenders photo collage from Monday December 14th in flames show with Red and in flames VIP experiences at center stage theater
Great venue and the food was so fresh with so many options! The Trio event was great!
Awesome spot for great music and clean safe venue
It was lots of fun. Puddles was festive and funny. Parking was full but we found a spot outside.
Really liked this place for seeing a concert. I dont think that any of the seats were bad. Its a small place but it was great there.
Love this venue! Perfect size, as even from the very top row you feel close. Had a blast seeing Post Malone when he came in October.
Brian Courtney Wilson and Gene Moore Jr put on a great, genuine show.
Fun place to watch a show. It needs some updates to the seats but overall good experience.
Great small venue for intimate shows. Seen many concerts and wrestling events here. No such thing as a bad seat in the house. Could use better food options as it only has a local pizza place selling slices from a table. Full bar for those drinking.
Very hard to get to seats which are very small. Lines to get up to lines. Too small.
Show was good, easy to get in and out of the venue. They could use to update things, like putting floor lights in, so people dont trip down the stairs.
Very personable venue. The band seemed to like seeing all the fan individually. The sound was good and it was pretty dark.
Good midtown venue (Center Stage & Vinyl). Smaller with good sound. Place is showing signs of age but bartenders were cool.Had a problem with the tool who manages the parking lot when I stopped to buy tickets from the box office a few weeks ago. Thinks you should pay $10 to park for 5 mins to buy tix (website says box office parking is free).
I was there for an unfortunate event, a memorial service for a wonderful man. But the staff made it truly an excellent place to have had it.
Always a good place to enjoy your favorite artist live and direct.
The only positive thing is the view of stage from the seats without disturbing. But the sound quality is poor and the parking are limited. Should be there 2 hours before to find place.
Very crowded. The staff was helpful and they made sure people followed rules. NO PHONES!
Had a good time celebrating with Cee Loo Green. But the parking for Center Stage sucks..
Center stage has to be my favorite small concert venue yet. It was still hot in there but not like other small venues.
Just as memorable as the last time I had gone. Great service aswell
Wige was told no purses allowed by staff when we tried to enter. Had to walk miles back to car due to the woefully inadequate parking deck at the event center. Had to carry tons of loose items in pockets because we couldnt have a purse inside. When we did get back in, we saw other women with much larger purses than my wife had.Fire your security staff.
This is a pretty decent venue. Some broken seats, but otherwise not bad.
Went there to see Dave East. This place is a bit rundown and dirty. I stepped in something and it left a black sticky substance all over the bottom of my shoes... The concert started several hours late, and security was extremely rude in kicking people out at the end of the night (wouldnt let me use the restroom before I left). Not my favorite venue but will return if its a show I really want to see.
Great venue! Parking was a beast. Theres a large garage a block and a half off, next to the Presbyterian Church. That was a lot easier than trying to get into the garage at the venue.
Saint Jhn Ignorant forever tour! Had a blasts his energy is captivating! Loved the show! Great venue intimate but spacious...
Im 66 and being 3 rows from the top you would think it would be hard to see but not the case, it was an excellent view and I didnt miss a thing, the sound was excellent giving the ability to hear everything, but Im about 325 lbs and I did wish the seat was a little bigger but Im not disappointed enough about it to take away a star, this place reminds me of the Apolo theater in NYC, but just more space...
Good spot,it makes for an intimate concert venue. The only bad thing is,there are no handrails on some sides of the venue. If youre an older person,it can be a little difficult to get to your seat, especially if youre seat is higher up.
I attended the Ateez in Atlanta concert on March 22nd, 2019 and it was amazing! I was almost in the back (Section D, Row K) but I had a nice view of the members. Some of the members even spotted me and my friends! I did have a problem with a drunk lady that wondered into the venue (she could have been at the Loft) but security came to escort her back. Despite the drunk lady, I really like this venue and I hope to go there again for another concert. Update: I got VIP for the Ateez in Duluth concert on April 21st
Avery Sunshine was Awesome and she gave a stellar performance. Great seating
Small venue but great for intimate shows. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. The parking garage can be a bit if a pain getting in and out of and the elevator never seems to be working. Definitely needs some work as far as ADA accessibility.
Went to the YBN Cordae concert here. It was amazing
I attend the ProgPower USA festival here, every year. The bartenders are cool, the security guards arent jerks. The sound is awesome. Great venue, all around.
Great theater. Fortunately we got witness #The Moth Atlanta Grand Slam: Now or Never. An Awesome Story telling event.
Nice venue. First time there. Doesnt seem to be a bad seat in there.
The venue have public parking attached to the building which is awesome.
Saw Devin Townsend there. Great venue!!
Had a nice time with my love while watching one on my favorite artist perfom.
