I had a wonderful experience at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra today. The parking is convenient. The theater is just the right size to hear every instrument. I cant wait to go back. Worth the price!
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is world class orchestra hosting great musicians around the world. The Symphony Hall has amazing acoustics, no worries sitting on a balcony. If you like classical music and live near Atlanta, I suggest you buy a subscription and pick the pieces you like most. I look forward to each concert.
It was a wonderful experience. It is inevitable to think that theres a Creator who have all this creativity to humans and the gift to create beautiful things, like music.I will recommend to go and enjoy this delightful experience, you will not regret it.
We heard the orchestra perform when we went to see Gregory Porter in concert. They all did an amazing job. The level of talent that it takes to be a member of a professional orchestra is indescribable. If you appreciate musical talent, you will not be disappointed. The Conductor was charming, witty and personable.
This was my first opportunity to attend in my 63 years.. It was such an enjoyable evening.( Tickets were a Christmas gift)I look forward to many more events. It open the door to a new beginning of enchanting visits and performances from Atlanta Symphony Orchestra... Bravo!!!Ms. Angelous Young Bey
Excellent orchestra with great energy. The seating arrangement creates a full, lush sound. Also, marvelous acoustics in the hall in dress circle area which is partially under the balcony.
Super fun night! Kind employees guide you to your seats and where to park. Awesome music for a great price
We went to Rachmaninov’s piano concerto No 3 and it was amazing! By far, the best concerto I’ve ever been too. Really good musicians and venue. My only complaint are the drinks, they are a little overpriced and also they don’t let you in with a drink so you only have ~10 minutes to drink it, if you go for a drink during the intermission.
Any chance to see the ASO perform is worth it. We especially love the movie series. Weve been to Stars Wars and Home Alone and hoping Jurassic Park will come around again. Great time. Concession are also open before and there is an intermission even for the movies. We buy parking ahead of time, much easier because the place will be full
Attended the 85South show 12.19.19. Venue was clean, easy to maneuver & well lit. So well lighted, they chose to keep auditorium lights on throughout the entire comedy show. Alcohol kiosks strategically placed yet, very limited supply & options. Staff were helpful, courteous, & professional.
Vanessa Williams was excellent. Her voice was crystal clear. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and her band were awesome. Im a big fan of Vanessa Williams for over 30 years and she did not disappoint. I truly enjoyed this venue and easy access to parking is a plus. Comfortable seating, clean and very professional staff.
The symphony itself was great. All the musicians are expertly talented. Seating was great too. The only issues I had were the concessions as their choices of food and drink were lacking and overpriced. Be sure to eat before the show!
I had never been there before. It was a wonderful concert. I really loved to see Ledisi for the first time. I know I will go to see her again. The venue was perfect. The only thing I wished is that the concert went on a little longer. I love everything
Was a beautiful place with interesting art work! We saw Todrick Halls House Party which was an Amazing show! Then again everything he does is phenomenal!
Beautiful facility! We enjoyed our concert. We sat in the back, floor level, and we were able to see the stage pretty good.
Experienced them play with the Morehouse College Glee Club. Wonderful people and a great performance. I could feel the emotions in the music.
I went for a performance. The seats were old, uncomfortable and squeaking very loudly with any movement. The atmosphere, acoustic and lighting and even entry way into the theatre were nice until you say we’re you were seating. Tickets were priced decently and traffic was horrible but that’s to be expected.
We went for Handels Messiah. The ASO, the chorale, and the soloists were all simply wonderful. It was the first time I have been there when I could only get mobile tickets. I got one for parking, too. It all went very smoothly.
Brilliant performance of Brahms No 1 piano concerto. This is a really wonderful orchestra. And we will return.
The family and I enjoyed the amazing performance that was displayed. Our boys also loved the plays and it was not to short nor to long but the duration was just right for them!
I saw the Bowie show. The singer sang his heart out, the band was great, but the real star of the show, the ASO couldnt be heard. The band completely washed out the orchestra. A total disappoint! All because of a poor sound mixer.
Wonderful music. Acoustics are great. Lobby is full if natural light.
Went on an elementary school field trip. The kids loved it. So did I.
Amazing venue in Midtown. Parking can be expensive but it is downtown so just plan your commute ahead. Roomy ceiling and good sound system.
The show was fabulous! The theater is beautiful and our seats in the dress circle were terrific! The center can get busy, especially if there are two shows starting at the same time (there are multiple theaters in the center). I used ride share to travel to avoid high parking costs and it was very simple. They have traffic, ride shares and Valet worked out.
Nice venue for good music. Parking could be better, but I knew what it was going in.
10/10 would recommend to a friend. Had a great experience watching the orchestra perform. The snacks and drinks are also of good quality. Plenty of places to sit while you wait for the show. The acoustics are great. Would make a great date night or night out with friends.
Great place to listen symphonic music in Atlanta. Very friendly staff. Moderately priced.
Handels Messiah The musicians were magnificentThe choir was harmoniousThe soloists sonorousAnd the conductor was absolutely animated and masterful. The ASO delivered a glorious show.
Probably the only place in the world that never plays any encores.Parking fees are insane.Otherwise, a competent orchestra that does well when the conductor is good.
My wife and I had the greatest time!! We went to watch harry potter. Atmosphere is wonderful drinks are great too... we will be back!!
Really amazing things happen here. I hope everyone gets at least one chance to see some of the great performances here.
An incredible experience seeing Ludovico in concert. The symphony has sooo many amenities, including a dining hall so you can eat before the show. Drinks are available too and apparently can bring into the concerts. Very classy! Everyone who worked at the symphony were very helpful in directions and quite welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place for a new and different experience at the symphony.
The experience of hearing this world class orchestra in live performance surpasses the inferior quality of the best stereo sound system. In this highly talented group where each member is a most excellent master at their craft, you will hear music played with feeling, color, depth, brilliance and genuine perfection. A definite necessity if you are within an hours drive from downtown Atlanta.
Most fantastic musical performance of Vivaldis Four Seasons with Bruns on violin.DOES ATLANTA REALIZE THIS IS ONE OF THE TOP 5 ORCHESTRAS IN THE US?? WOW!
This is my favorite place to see youth orchestras. They do a good job here no matter what age. Their other orchestras include just as many groups with them like opera singers, solo violinist, and more.
The ASO is always a great experience. Robert Spano and the chorus are a delight to hear and see.
We took some kids on a field trip here. Great music.
Our orchestra is phenomenal and puts on some really unique performances. The venue is small, so it doesnt matter what seats you get...they are all good.
I love the valet parking. They did not dent may car. staff is friendly, they provide plenty of activities for children up and downstairs during the Halloween Potter night. And it was very safe. Clean. Helpful.
Absolutely amazing. Whether casual or classy, the hall is beautiful for every event. I went for a rock concert that I won’t soon forget.
Great as always and it doesnt matter where you are seated.
We went to see a night of Leonard Bernsteins music performed. It was wonderful! The musicians were great, the conductor was sharp, and the soloists were great performers. To to it all of, I loved the music selection. As a Bernstein fan myself, the music really made me feel something. 5/5, would recommend to anyone interested in the music arts.
Saw a Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison concert. The two deceased artists were shown using holograms. Music was great in my opinion.
Always a pleasure to visit. Took my students on a field trip. They greatly enjoyed it!
Parking was fine, the security/ticket check was steady moving (didnt experience a bottleneck) efficiently ushered to seat. Great view from lower balcony. The minus--no soap in mens restroom, an easy fix. Otherwise, pleased with our evening!
This music was nice and they played an array of pieces even orchestral jazz.
Saw the Indigo Girls with them. Absolutely amazing. Staff was very nice as well. The sound was perfect and the seats were comfortable.
We saw the ASO for the first time at their home theater. What a brilliant orchestra!
The concertmaster, David Coucheron, performed Beethovens Concerto for Violin and Orchestra masterfully. I didnt want it to end!
My fiancé and I decided to listen to the symphony play the music in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It was AMAZING!I’m glad they put subtitles on the movie for us to still hear what was going on because there were times that the orchestra was louder than the movie. Other than that, I’d love for them to play along with more Harry Potter movies in the future. I’d love to hear them play again.
Best date night place. Acoustics are outstanding. Ive been to 3 concerts here including a movie performance.
I attended a Todrick Hall concert and this venue was amazing with friendly staff services. Todrick was adamant that every fan was greeted after such a dynamic performance regardless of how late it was in the evening. I will definitely see him in concert again.
Nothing short of amazing! ASO performed an exciting rendition of Harry Potter which kept me on the edge of my seat watching how the magic of the movie was played!
Saw america they go out of their way for a great concert
Love my hometown symphony! Hope ATLiens will continue to support.
Watched the movie Psycho with the ASO doing the score to the movie.Absolutely amazing performance! The music was done in perfect timing to the movie and was an awesome experience.I definitely would go see the ASO again!
Saw Beth Hart and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Great show and venue was very nice.
I always enjoy visiting Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Shows are always reasonably priced & great performances from some of my favorite artists!
Watched a very nice show of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at a very nice venue!
It was a wonderful, awe inspiring experience for us and the children with us. It fully ignited in them a love and appreciation for music that had been only a spark until this. Thank you to all the musicians, the conductor, and all the crew behind the scenes that supported the performance for your hard work and dedication to your craft.
The Messiah was spectacularly performed by Orchestra and Choir. Dont let the Christmas season pass without attending.
Went and saw the Christmas Carol. We really enjoyed the show, great performance.
World class. Beautiful Christmas kids production this year.
Theatre was beautiful. We had box seats which were perfectSeats were comfy. Were tall. The chairs were tall bar heoght seats in box seating.Soumd was perfect. Nice amd dark with a well lit stage.
Ben Folds was great. Enjoyed the venue.
Saw Tony Bennett and his daughter. Excellent show
Enjoyed the concert of Gustav Mahlers Symphony of a Thousand with my friend, Drena Lanier from north Georgia.. It was a lovely evening of classical music & song.
Not a bad place. Went to see the Celtic Women Christmas show with a friend. It was a class act. The drink prices are insanely expensive 40 to 45 for two drinks. I would rather offer 30 to the homeless and pay more like 15 that seems fair?
I was playing here and being on stage is nice btw I play cello
Great atmosphere and an even better performance. Cirque Du Soleil backed up by the ASO was awesome!
Great place, staff was very helpful and understanding. Will definitely go back and highly recommend as a destination for a good time.
Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Beth Hart. Amazing show!
