First time Ive been to a movie theater in years. Special 4K screening of Akira was very enjoyable due to almost no moviegoers. Packed theaters are my main reason of never going so its nice to be able to pick seats and see how many are occupied ahead of time on the website. Social distancing/safety standards are good. Screen/film quality wasnt as high as Id hoped but I expect that from any theater. Seats are reclining, comfortable, and good heights above lower seats.Theater #12
Very nicely located. Clean concession and public areas. The escalator doesnt work but there is an elevator. Lady at box-office was very friendly and welcoming. Staff at concession and ticket checker at entrance was also friendly. I liked that you can reserve seats. Ticket price is a bit on higher side but I guess thats okay for the location? I would love to see a working escalator next time we are here but otherwise no complaints.
We loved seeing “Volta”at Atlantic Station. It’s very impressive seeing how they set their tents up and make a modern circus come to life. The production includes amazing acts including, bikes, acrobatics, one amazing performance of a lady being swung by only her hair and so much more. This show is only there a limited time. I would go and check it out fast! The story line is a ton of fun also. A real coming of age story about how we are all different.
Parking can be a bit of pain especially if you are meeting a large group. The theater is nice though. Good seating.
Went to see Brightburn and opted to see the 21+ showing. Didnt realize it was almost an extra $10. But I went ahead because it fit into my time frame and I was interested in getting a mudslide. They dont serve mudslides anymore. But I can see where if I was having a date night or just me time and wanted to not be surrounded by kids in a R movie this would be the way to go.
$32 for 2 tickets standard general admission.Tons of commercials and no movie previews before start time. At start time there were even more commercials. Then there were like 2 previews and the move started 25 minutes late. For $32 you should get a commercial free experience and not be bombarded by ads.No one was there on a Friday night. It wasn’t just our movie. The whole place was deserted at 9pm 2/28/20. It was super creepy. The whole place was cold - about 60 degrees I guess.1st time visiting. Nothing special about this place. $6 water. out of large popcorn buckets. WHERE DID THEY GO?! No one is here. There is not a run on popcorn!!!the one and only ticket sales lady was Deep into something on her phone and we had to knock on the window more than once to get her attention. She seemed so angry that we had bothered her.Bottom line: I plan on never going back
Worst experience ever the concession stand was close the theater was hot and the air was only turned on an hour into the movie think I’ll be chosen AMC theaters for now on plus AMC has discounted tickets on Tuesday and a membership program that allows you to watch any movies for a monthly fee
I just went to see the film Tenet, and the volume was cranked-up so high that I had to put earphones in to dull it. Even then, it was still too loud. I even moved around the theater to find a different seat, but it was still too loud. I asked to see the manager, to turn it down to the level of a jet engine; but nobody was available. Im leaving, and will just not bother with this theater again.
Rude people kept talking during the movie. One guy even answered his cell phone loudly saying Whats up man? Im at the movies. Another lady was turned around talking to someone for all the the previews . The seats looked like they were both new and old. All the sockets where the seat and row numbers go were missing. Isle letters were missing from the isles. The movie was good, but the theater, and many of the other patrons were quite disappointing. We wont be going back to see a movie there.
I see theyre doing some remodeling. Most of the other theatres I visit have more comfortable seats that recline, let your feet up, & have a bar for an adult beverage. I couldnt believe they dont have a pop corn & 2 drink combo so you have to pay for everything separately. I hope theyre improving the seating. Overall a pretty good experience. Ordered tickets & chose seats online. Easy entry, good customer service at the food counter, ample security visible, validated parking, clean theatre & rest rooms.A+ on customer service experience.
I did not enjoy this theater. Ive always wanted to go but never have. $32 for 2 people. A person was in our seat that had a ticket for the previous show. There was only 8 people in there and when we purchased our tickets we were the first cause no seats were selected. Why would someone buy a ticket right next to us? So the person that shouldnt of been there was to our right. The other person to our left and 4 other people further down. We moved down a row and there was a huge oil spill on the floor. Luckily I didnt slip and got hurt. Anyways go the few miles north and visit Phipps. Will never go to Atlantic Station again
Literally the most overpriced movie theatre Ive ever been to. Practically $15 per ticket. Ended up paying close to $50 for just 3 people. This is unheard of where Im from. I now have a much greater appreciation for other movie theaters. The seats were comfortable and the popcorn was average. The seating layout was terrible. Most of the seats are far too close to the screen so you have to look up the whole movie. I had higher expectations for a theatre that seemed so fancy. The parking and location was good, though.
I would stay away during construction. They tore down the concession stand, and the temporary one is about the size of a kids lemonade stand. Half of the drinks were out, and theres no Icee machine. We saw a standard screen movie in one of the new theaters, and it REEKED of paint and polyurethane from the new seats (which arent that comfortable by the way). The theater was also freezing cold, like maybe the heat was working yet. And this was on a 65 degree day. Im sure it will be nice when its done. but there are too many compromises to make right now to still have to pay full price.
Not bad overall. Picture and sound in the IMAX theater very good.as always, concessions are incredibly slow, not sure why they have not fixed that over years. As always, parking at Atlantic station is a huge of pain. But overall still my number one choice if I want to see something on a big screen.
Really great movie theater. The inside is really nice and Ive never had an issue being here. The theaters themselves are pretty clean and the staff is nice. Bathrooms clean.
The food here takes forever. It literally takes about 5-7 minutes per order one after the other. After ordering food at concessions it took another 35 minutes to receive the food and we had to stand in a line and wait, rather than go and sit. Its 2020 - get your act together and expand your kitchen. Folks want more than popcorn and candy now a days.
Always an enjoyable time at the Atlantic Station Regal theater. If you are looking for upscale hiring and service, make sure you get in the VIP section. For those that drink, there is a full service bar and flat screen television to rest and rewind before OR after the movie! The have a great selection of food and desserts just prior to the movie. A bit pricey but worth it (roughly $80 for two - not including strong drinks).
Seats were ok but its extremely expensive compared to other movie theaters.
Delicious snacks and wonderful seats. It is not very crowded. I would recommend going to see a 4dx movie
If you purchase tickets for the theater in the back where the bar is then all guests must be 21 and over. It is for the VIP tickets. Always carry your parking ticket with you so you can validate your parking before you leave. The machines are at the exit before you leave. The theater was a little chilly so dress accordingly for late night shows.
This place was decent last time I came to visit but right now its heavily under going construction. Hard hat workers walking around, caution tape up all over the place, elevator down, limited menu. If this much work has to be done its best you close the site down so customers dont walk into danger zones.
I was originally skeptical about visiting this theatre, seeing as Im kind of a homebody from douglas county, but I was pleasantly surprised! When purchasing tickets, my wife (of about 7 years now,) wasnt so sure about the seating chart, but our minds were quickly put at ease by one of the best employees I had met in quite a while. A big thanks to a young man named Jacob, he swept my wife off her feet and he was a pleasure to deal with! he made the whole experience a great one and because of our overall experience, I WILL be back!!! Thanks again
This location is going through a remodel. I normally do not come to watch a movie here, because the parking is a nightmare and with the construction it is worst. We went to the movies around 4 pm during the week and did not realize our movie was only in the VIP section which is just reclining seats and waiter service, but the price was dramatically more. Totally not worth it if you are not drinking. Also at the regular concessions stand we waited 5-6 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us. The popcorn was not even fresh and only one icee flavor was available as all the other machines were not ready. If you are going to operate a business during the afternoon hours, have adequate staff. Definitely not a fan of this location.
Very nice facility, knowledgeable staff, and a strong selection of movie times. There is plenty of parking in the deck (for a fee of course). There is also a very visible police/security presence. The movie will cost between 10-15 and the parking will be around 4-10 dollars depending on the amount of time you would like to spend around the theater. The best feature is the large variety of places to eat and shop. Enjoy!
Our experience there tonight was generally good, but not great. If theater owners want to keep attracting people to get out of their houses and off of Netflix, $31 for two tickets and over 20 minutes of trailers is not the way to do it, IMO. Also, we ordered food and it took forever to come out. On the plus side, the young staff was very friendly and our theater was clean and comfy with solid seats. Appreciated that they validated our parking.
Right from the start this was an awesome experience. Julian at the ticket counter was an absolute pleasure and the speedy service at the snack bar was outstanding. Overall an awesome experience that has made a repeat customer out of me. (The TV wall was also really cool)
Went here for a pre-screening of IT Chapter TwoThis theater is always hosting pre-screenings for new movies before they come out
This is the best movie theater in my opinion!!!
A very innovative and amazing concept that was fully fleshed out and cutting edge.
This experience was one disappointment after another. Yes, technically I did see a movie which was the point. But the combination of navigating the parking structure, working through pretty serious construction that was not well established with signage to navigate the detours, and the price of the tickets in the concessions being so shocking. I cannot recommend this theater! It has a funky old-time vibe, and maybe without all of the construction it will be a pleasant experience. But this was not fun! Im not a local, so perhaps these prices are whats standard...? In my local environment our movies are cheaper AND we have those cool recliner seats. So this was an unexpectedly unpleasant movie experience
So nice this place wow coming back!!
Great environment. Family oriented setting and has an array of good eating spots. Very nice!!
Visited The Cirque du Soile. Is a Macys. I come back.
Best movie theater, in Atlanta, they have a area with a bar which serves food at your movie seat. Awesome, plus you can use your regal rewards.
For it to be Christmas Day they sure dropped the ball. Restrooms are disgusting, lobby unclean, no hot dogs, no nachos, no pretzels and serving cold popcorn. I was told hot food would be ready in 15-20 minutes, i come back and they still were not ready. The employees complain about people telling them how dirty it is while there are plenty of them on hand, and they have one assistant manager on duty. For us as consumers to pay as much money as we do service shouldn’t be so subpar as this location. Young employees working concessions having attitudes I assume for the reason of working on Christmas Day but I’m 99% positive they went over the fact that they would have to work holidays. I love Regal and I’m a loyal member but today has really been a disappointment.
I wouldve been comfortable w/ reclining seats like the other AMCs..but this place, seats went back just a lil bit, the legs didnt come up at all! Seats are small...yea, Id rather Mt. Zion
Under construction currently but this theater never disappoints. Always clean (including bathrooms) and they keep the latest tech like 4D
Not my favorite theater. Could be cleaner and the popcorn had an odd taste. The 4D seats were different but not my thing.
My company just had a meeting here in one of the theaters. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The theatre was extremely clean and appeared to be very well taken care of. The bathrooms were nice and CLEAN! That is always a big indicator for me. It was fairly easy to get in and out of and they would validate your parking ticket so that wasnt a concern either. I would definitely come to this location again to watch an actual movie.
Tickets were expensive for the RDX experience which wasnt much different than any other theater. And I guess theyre renovating so its utter chaos in there. It was incredibly dirty inside for some reason, there were popcorn kernals in every inch of that place. The staff was also very nonchalant and unprofessional. The escalator also doesnt work for some reason. I hadnt been to that theater in quite some time and now I remember why. Wont be going back.
IMAX theatre is excellent... Impressive sound and 3D... Great seating and view from most parts of the theatre... Leg room for row P is the best!!! Enjoyed the show very much...
Where do I begin? We arrive and are given the wrong 3-D glasses. Then we stand in line for 25 minutes and no one moves. Apparently out of the three machines that make popcorn only one works. We finally get to the front of the line and of our two popcorn orders we receive one as they have run out of popcorn again. I wait and I wait and I wait… I send my husband and daughter into the movie so they don’t miss the beginning. And I wait… 20 minutes later Me and the girl beside me have to Call out to the person who took our order who is fixing a machine to not let us get missed for popcorn again. As we are waiting he is going around being Mr. maintenance and every time popcorn comes up all the other people around us get theirs while we continue to wait. Needless to say we missed the beginning of the movie. Did I happen to mention it was The Lion King? Missing the beginning of the Lion King is unacceptable. I finally arrived with our second bag of popcorn sit down and the movie is blurry. I look over at my husband and ask if it’s blurry for him too and he says yes. I look around and see that everybody else has glasses that are different from ours. Let’s miss some more of this movie. After running out and getting the proper glasses I returned to my seat. After witnessing the apathy of the employees and seeing little kids crying when their father said you’re going to have to choose if you want a snack or make sure we see the beginning of the movie, I will never return to regal Atlantic station ever again. My real rating is zero stars.
The personnel that controlled the lights wasnt doing their job.... 10 mins into the movie before the lights were turned off.
Great place and helpful staff; place had some construction going on so you would hear hammering or banging throughout.
The seats are crammed close together... uncomfortable. This was the room we were in. My son said his room was nice seats? I cant remember which room I was in. Volume was too low for us but the volume from the theater beside us was very loud and interrupting.
*Update*I did contact you guys.Even reached out to you on Twitter. No answer. Its been 3 weeks..Youve lost a customer.. Loved the movie I went to go see..Even liked the girl at the concession stand. However, cleanliness is not there forte..If I spend 20 something on a movie ticket, give me a good experience. Seats were crowded. Floors were sticky. Vomit on the floor. Just nasty. I reached out to Customer service. No response. Never will return.
4D was a ton of fun. Lobby seemed a bit spartan for the price. The main escalator was down.On the upside, the popcorn was fresh and the drinks cold.
Nice movie theater. The tickets cost too much.
This theatre is fine. The ticket staff are nice, snacks cost more than a fast food deluxe meal, and they have 3D and IMAX. There is also a VIP 21+ theater with slightly better accomodations. They validate parking and it gets super crowded on the weekends.
We literally drive over an hour to go here. Huge space so even with opening night youre not crowded. Great food not just usual popcorn and candy and staff is super sweet. Concessions workers are awesome!
It was great! I took a visit to the la fitness for the first time and I have to say the cardio jam class was to die for... literally!
I always receive superb service when I come here. It makes the movie more special with a classy feeling with the A-1 service that you all provide. I will always recommend this location to friends and family.
Favorite theatre in the city for a great movie experience. Tara and Landmark have a better foreign/indie offering but amazing sound system at Atlantic Station
One of the best Regal Cinema theaters here in Atlanta, I love their food and Concession itemsThey are a bit pricey but its well worth it. I also love their IMAX and RPX movie theaters. The surround sound and picture quality is absolutely amazing like I said one of my favorite movie theaters in Atlanta compared to the other Regal Cinemas here in Georgia
Ive visited this theater for years. However, today I had to write a review. There is a box office staff member by the name of Esther (I think). I have watched her provide such quality customer service to those who either the theater or the process is new. Her explanations are thorough, concise and helpful. Customer service is hit or miss these days but quality customer service is rare. So heres a shout-out to Esther, great job, great consistency!!
The coolest movie theater........ Loved the scene
The movie was fantastic, but the concession lines were ridiculous. They were not prepared for the crowd. About half of the popcorn machines were not working and the workers had to go back and forth. Lines were out the door.
Good place to see a movie, but took forever to buy tickets because there were not enough cashiers.
Me and my roommate have enjoy the bar so far on this trip to the movies this is my first time to a VIP 3D movie we are seeing Star Wars I am highly excited as I am sitting in a reclining chair waiting for the movie to start the atmosphere here is very cozy I cannot wait till my next trip!
Slowest concessions anywhere. Sense of urgency of death row inmates. Would sell a lot more if properly staffed. Most people just dont bother. Giant lines even at 1am. I guess they dont like making money?
As always, indifferent staff. Came in this afternoon to watch an early movie with my wife, and as is the case 80% of the time, the escalator to the theater is turned off, so we have to hike up the long escalator stairwell to get to the upper level. The young lady at the ticket booth is on her phone, and doesn’t look up when we walk up to show her our tickets. I ask if the escalator is broken and she shrugs. I then repeat, “is it broken?” and she says “it should be” and tells us our theater. I ask “what does that mean?” and she replies “I mean, it should be, it was broken earlier” before going back to her phone. That’s our typical experience here, that’s the reason concessions at this theater is infamously slow, most of the staff either can’t be bothered or are too busy goofing off assist you in a timely fashion.I’ve been in Atlanta for 10 years and this theater has only gotten worse in that time. There’s a major redevelopment effort under at Atlantic Station but the Regal experience won’t improve until poor service is addressed. Personally I can’t wait for the new AMC at Madison Yards to open, I don’t see myself coming back to this place after that.P.S.It occurred to me I should probably review the actual movie watching experience. Sticky floors and uncomfortable seats unless you pay extra for the “VIP” section where you get a reclining seat (standard at many newer Regal theaters like the one at Avalon).Probably the only theater I’ve been too that consistently forgets to dim the lights until the trailers are over, making the trailers difficult to see.
Went to a Fathom sponsored event here at a premium price. The movie started 45 minutes late. No one from the theatre ever came out to explain the delay. Finally 3 or 4 of us came out to see what the problem was, and finding an employee, asked to see a manager. The manager was hiding in the office, according to the employee, and he was afraid to get him! 20 minutes later, the movie started, only to stop 10 minutes later. Many people just left in frustration. This is a theatre to avoid if you expect even an average movie going experience. Management lacks even the most basic understanding of customer service, and at the prices they charge, should be delivered with white glove attention. Far from that, they couldnt care less about your experience.
Great seats. Sometimes patrons dont sit in their assigned seats but nothing major
The theater is convenient, and clean. They do serve food such as burgers with the VIP offering. We have never tried it so we cannot speak on it. The parking is validated at the theater so that is always a plus. There are a few places to go grab something to eat and drink nearby which is cool. We frequent here quite often for advance screenings. Catch a movie then head down to Yardhouse!
Great movie theater. Comfortable seats and open till later. Just pricey food.
Horrible at experience at concessions stand during the 12:45 pm movie. Only one or two customers at the counter. Entire staff standing in a group laughing and joking. Went to the one young lady with pink hair that was helping customers. The experience I had with this young lady was unacceptable. The entire staff needs customer service training. Some one has mistakingly told these young people that they can act disrespectful towards Customers and still represent your brand. I will never come to this theater again!
It felt warm in the theatre; 78-80 degrees. All the drink machines were down. Comfy seats and clean bathrooms, though!
Awesome but they dont have the collectable merchandise you are suppose to get. I saw Alita there and never did I receive my collectable, like I was suppose too.
Went back to the VIP area for an R rated comedy, real nice full bar and more.
RPX movie experience is one of the best movie experience i have had.A little too expensive.
Most big theaters sucks. This one does not. Its one of the cleanest theaters Ive ever been to. They have multiple viewing experiences from 2d to IMAX to the VIP area with the bar and reclining seats. The tickets are not cheap and neither are the concessions but theyre on par with what youd expect for such a theater in such a location. If possible go during working hours. You can catch a brand new movie in an empty theater. The 5 oclock movies are always best on the weekday. If the escalator is out of service take the elevator and enjoy your movie.
Great venue, good customer service and clean theater. It wasnt super packed for the showing of Star Wars
I’ve been here multiple times. Theater is always clean. Staff friendly and polite and the parking validation doesn’t hurt. Just saw Lion King here and had a great time.I will add I have never been here and the escalators were working.
The cashier upsold me on the vip saying that it included “curbside” service. I asked her what that meant. She said, “as in they wait on you” so whatever I bought a ticket and paid $20. Turns out they don’t come into the theater to wait on you. At least not the day that I bought the ticket. It was a Wednesday. They only do it on the weekends. I should totally be offered a refund.
Had a grand time meeting beautiful women and eating damn good food....
All I can say is Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker in 4DX3D.....made the movies an unforgettable experience for my whole family! It was incredible!
I always enjoy my time here. The atmosphere is always entertaining and fun. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
Regal really needs to step it up. AMC has me.spoiled with the reclining seats and whatnot, while Regals seats do little more than rock. Not to mention they have no combos or specials in concession and you cant make your own drink or Icee. You cant even butter your own popcorn! You know what - let me change this from 3 stars to 2. Get it together Regal Cinemas Atlantic Station. I get so much more for nearly the same price at AMC.
It’s a great place to go if you want to see a movie that you are not sure is still in theaters. Because of their best screens they keep movies a bit longer than other theaters.
I give the Regal Atlantic Station ScreenX, IMAX, RPX & VIP located at 261 19th St NW #1250, Atlanta, GA 30363 FIVE STARS. A Great movie theater for everyone to enjoy. FIVE STARS
Great location, safe and clean. I think the seat need upkeep. Sound was good, snack stand a little pricey.
I have a great time everytime I visit, the seats are comfortable, sometimes they have movies that only a few theaters get, I’d suggest this place to anyone.
They sound and picture quality are amazing. Its a bit more expensive but more than worth it.
This has always been one of my go- to theaters, but last night I went to see endgame and I literally had to walk through trash from what appeared to be the previous screening. Would love to give 5 stars but the ketchup and waffle fries under my flip flops wont allow it this time. Knowing what I know of this theater, I expected better and I dont feel regal met its standard. Might try an AMC to see if theres a difference now.
The theater is going through some renovations so thats cool, but there was one person working the ticket counter, the self ticketing was either out of ticket paper or the machine errored...the concessions workers were ok, but were having more personal conversations than helping customers.
Regal VIP is very spacious with reclining seats and a full bar. Definitely an experience you have to try!
I love this Regal location. Bathrooms are clean. Food is decent. However, its expensive, as you might imagine. Great for premiere movies.
I would have given you guys 5 stars if it wasnt for William. William is a petty thief. He works at the concession stand. Beware of him if you are a regal club card holder. William is scanning his personal regal club number and getting the credit for your purchase. He is a petty thief. If you steal credits from customers purchase what else would you steal????
This theater blasted commercials at us for 30 minutes before the feature film. I kept checking the time... 30 minutes is excessive dont you think?
Other than double booking my seats...we had a great time
Theyre doing renovations which is great but the lights came on a couple of times during the movie.
This has become the worst movie theater in town. When we arrived, the escalators were broken and doors were locked. The only way in and out was through a single unmarked hidden elevator. Nearly all of the food was not available on the menu and they were out of most of their popcorn. The theater was a mess inside. Oh, and they charged over $20 for an adult ticket on a Sunday night. Avoid this place at all cost.
Horrible concession staff. Lazy, and the one chubby girl is rude, inappropriate and in all appearances touched. Its a nice theater, but be on your guard. Her ostentatious cretinism almost ruined a great day! Pretty sure she spit in our popcorn, would explain the annoying cackling....Stay away!!!
Pretty good theater, no reserved seating and no reclining chairs keeps this from being a 5 star theater. They validate for 2 hours of parking. The fact that you have to pay for parking past 2 hours would knock another star down if they didnt validate but at least they are trying to help since Atlantic Station is just trying to rip you off.
My husband and I had a great experience. We went and saw Captain Marvel in the Screen X theater and I have to say it definitely was a surprise. Seeing the movie on 3 of the four walls was exciting and different. Ive been coming to this Regal Cinemas location for years and will definitely continue coming here....
