This is an Amazing Facility. I performed in the SouthWest Art Center’s, with the Phenomenal Freddie Hendricks Teen Artist Academy 2years in a row #swac11I also took piano lessons with the Great Mr.Spivey.I was also apart of PAC.I also was Featured in the Freddie Hendricks Presents Gil Scott Heron Tribute.Anything I ever performed in at the Southwest Arts Center or attended was a Blast.

DOT by Colman Domingo and directed by Kenny Leon was heart touching. This play is about family, friends, and the circle of life. The live performance made us laugh, reflect and appreciate life and all that we take along with it. You start off sympathizing with the caregivers and leave empathizing with the aging. For me it was a beautiful waltz beginning with the childrens pivot turn and ending with the mothers beautiful natural free spin. This play is a healthy expression of the effects of Alzheimers disease. You wont be disappointed.

I have never seen a performance here I did not enjoy. Theater is nice and free parking.

Went 4 a party & play a few. Years back. Loved this place it so nice to a have a spot in our community. Every1 should go & see for thhemsevles. Hope to go again.

Very affordable place to take classes in the arts. The staff is friendly and well trained. Definitely a great place to start your young ones. They have good classes for adults as well. This place is ran very professionally. They are very organized and it’s always very clean. I feel very safe being there and having my child take classes. So far I have been pleased.

I visited this center due to having to vote early. This was one of the locations that offered early voting. The facility is nestled in a residential area of Cascade. The outside had plenty of parking in front and on the side of the building.The stone of the building has some sculpting in it that makes you pause. Inside there are many rooms for activites and murals. The one that stuck the most to me is that of Michael Jackson. I do hope to find another reason to visit this place very soon.

I love the way Fulton supports the arts and wish that Dekalb County had similar venues. We trek to Fulton every weekend for my daughters art and guitar class. These art and culture centers should be a part of every county in order to nurture the arts. And their exhibits, particularly the quilts, are amazing. Love this place!!!!!

I truly enjoyed this powerful and entertaining performance. The singing and dancing were phenomenal. The only drawbacks for me were I would have expected a few more wardrobe changes and more scenery. The actors were awesome.

I have been attending events here for the last five years. I love it!

Grateful and deeply appreciative to have this beautiful arts center in our community. It means we can have an evening out of culture and sharing (with friends) without downtown traffic and such. Love it!

I totally disagree with Anita Justice. Nice safe location. As a senior, I felt very comfortable. Our meetup group attended several plays there and will be there again in 2 weeks. Just the right size so you have a good view from all seats. Highly recommended.

I always have a great experiences here. They have excellent plays at good prices.

There are a lot of very talented people in the play Holler If Ya Hear Me!. My son Garrett did the role of Vertus justice.The venue was great and the after party was too much fun.

Very nice venue. The only thing missing was wine easy access, good parking. I will def come back for other plays.

Excellent location! Anita, FYI New Hope Rd is home to the very prestigious Guilford Forest subdivision and also SEVERAL million dollar homes.

I recently attended the August Wilsons How I Learned What I Learned play and I was pleasantly surprised from beginning to the end of my visit. Outside on the front of the building was the name of the play highlighted in lights and inside of the building was a registration area, small gallery, and concession stand. The building is multi-functional and is suitable for any type of event.

I totally disagree with Anita Justice as well....the homes in this area are absolutely beautiful I feel very safe while Im here such a great center I love it

Horrible location. Its located in DA HOOD; attend at your own risk. Why cant they have it closer into town?? Other than that, I like their productions.
