Awesome experience. The whole event was great and better than expected. Very easy to understand and use. I was a little worried that I might get motion sickness but that didnt happen and never one felt uneasy while in the VR world. My only complaint is the price for how quick the event is. Side from that hands down a awesome experience
Really cool experience. The graphics and accuracy were on point as long as your headset was on very tightly.. definitely make sure its clear before you start playing. The staff were all friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. The 1 star deduction is for time playing versus the price. The actual time playing was around 15 minutes.. I feel like it could be double the time for that price.. But supply and demand Im assuming. I read they are normally very busy with long wait times..... but we did not experience this on a late Saturday night.
This is definitely one of the coolest things I ever done. And I’ve done some really cool stuff like hiking a glacier in Iceland and skydiving in New Zealand. But for the money, the can’t beat this experience. We did the Jumanji game and it was awesome! I can’t wait to go back and do them all. Just know that the gear you carry during the experience via a backpack and helmet is about 15 lbs. so if you have someone in your group that won’t work for... be warned. Also get in line as soon as you arrive even if you have a reservation.
It was really fun and cool. The immersive part wasnt there too much. I think if they tried to make the outer world more like in game to make it feel like you actually doing it. Like if your walking in a log maybe put something shape of the log so we can walk around or narrow to floor something. Also the elements should be more effective. Its pretty light. Well I only played one game so Ill see how that works for the rest.
I had an amazing experience with my family. We played 2 games Star Wars and Avengers. I personally liked the Star Ward better because I could use and actual gun. In the avengers you use your hands to engage. Once my son taught me the moves I was able to help. You are literally inside of the game and it’s INCREDIBLE! This is a must try. The staff, facilities, Whole Experience is GREAT! Family Bonding for everyone.
Their virtual reality was fun. But I think it could be much better. The whole experience is very stressful because they dont have an organized line. If you make reservations, thats just a suggestion to them rather than a set thing. We got there and we were told we needed to wait 1hr. Lucky for us, for staying at the place, we went in 15min after our time. But other people waited for way longer. A lady told them she was waiting since 8:30pm and we heard this at 10pm. So, overall the price and wait time for the experience we got is not worth it.
The first time i went was fine, the second time was a terrible experience. We made reservations for three of us and arrived before our appointment a little over a week ago. The person at the front desk let us know that they were about 25 minutes behind the scheduled time and that we could either wait or have our money refunded. Now we had already driven all this way and paid $30 in parking to do the void so we decided to wait which is not a big deal. However what is a big deal is that we did not enter our virtual reality for an hour and a half after our scheduled time. The staff did not seem to care that they were so far behind and they had a little paper sheet that they were trying to use to organize who was next which they were crossing people out and moving them all over.Clearly they did not have a way to organize this system. And when we finally did get in the VR bugged out 80% through and we all just started spinning. I reached out to the general manager Ms Boyd via phone the next day asking her to give me a call and I never heard back. Im generally not one to leave bad reviews but I tried to handle this outside of Google and got no response. If I dont hear back I guess Ill just reach out to corporate.
Pretty cool. Really enjoyed it. A little pricey for the amount of time you are in there. Nice staff.
Amazing technology!!!!... They have a regional manager, Dhalia, who is by farrrrrrr the best customer service manager I have ever dealt with. I had a couple of small issues with my visit and once I spoke to her I felt much better. Its very rare you find top notch service and a manager willing to listen. Because of her, I will return. I am also planning a big event there with a large group of my employees. Great place.. Definitely check it out!
This place was amazing, but really very expensive for what you got. The technology is breathtaking and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The only problem was that it was over so quickly I barely felt like I did anything (especially for that price).I did the Star Wars room, and the experience was very immersive. When buttons appeared in the simulation, the player actually pressed buttons in the physical world. I love the amount of detail that was put in to everything (heat from the lava and vibrations from laser blasts), but the simulation was also just a little off. My headset possibly needed to be calibrated because the buttons that I pushed were just to the right of their actual position when I touched them. The other players that I could see and interact with were also projected a couple of inches in front of or behind their actual body. It was a little disorienting.I cant wait for the technology to advance further so we can have more and better experiences like this one!
Amazing! Only complaint is I wish it was just a little longer! 10-15 minutes for what you pay is a little steep. If it were $10 cheaper, or at the price they charge they let you do 2 experiences then itd be perfect!
As everyone else has said the wait time is horrible and they either underestimate their wait or overbook purposely. After waiting an hour to get to our briefing, the guy who was in charge placed four more people who were originally behind us in the room but they left out first, getting ahead of us in line, so we had an even longer wait. The VR was really cool but definitely would be a better experience if you had more than 15 min in the game. Its a great idea, I hope they step it up and give a better overall experience.
Fun, novel experience. Great for friends or family who are visiting. We did the Star Wars experience. It was pretty good but a little short.
My family and I made a reservation on Black Friday after hearing amazing things about VOID. However, after waiting for too long, we needed to cancel. With that being said, Kendall was EXTREMELY helpful, and he was helping everyone in the building. Although we couldn’t experience VOID, Kendall deserves positive complements for his hard work today.
Wow! What a great experience. It was so fun to go there with a group of family and friends. We did the Jumanji VR. It was better than I expected, very realistic. Cant wait to go do Star Wars!! :0
Very cool experience to have with friends or family. Only lasts 15-20 minutes so its very short and its over in an instant. If you are small or have back problems the headset and backpack combo can be a bit cumbersome, the latch in my headset did not fold closed properly and before I put it on there was a little oil from someone elses forehead on there that I had to wipe off but otherwise, if you already have experience with at home VR gaming systems you will pick this up right away. The controls are very easy to learn and the whole experience is very cool.
The VR experience was great. The check in process and wait was disorganized and chaotic. Reservation times are virtually irrelevant. We arrived 20 minutes prior to our appointment time and checked in, grabbed a spot in line. As we stood in line everyone was friendly and excited. In more than one instance, people with later appointment times went ahead of us and others. Several staff standing around, walking back and forth not communicating updates to patrons. It appeared if you complained regardless of your appointment time their solution was to put you next in line. Im not sure we will ever return.
Cool experience. I am someone who doesnt really play video games, do know a lot about comics, and not the most adventurous but after a learning curve, I must say The Avengers Damage Control was a surreal - real experience!Locating the buttons for volume was problematic and there were times when the VR visor would go out of focus and I found that frustrating. Nice staff..Overall a fantastic experience.
AMAZING experience. The Virtual reality alone was breathtaking.I did end up waiting for my reservation for about 20 minutes but the customer service from the guy in the front ( richard) was so great, I really did not mind waiting cause he was so pleasant. The young lady that took us through the experience was very informative. I have recommended so many people to go here because you will not be disappointed.
My experience at The Void was incredible! Our group did Jumanji and it felt so real! Would definitely recommend, it’s an experience like no other!
Did the Star Wars experience, was a very memorable and vivid battle. Really enjoyed being in the action and walking through it!
This was an amazing experience! My hubby and I did Star Wars and it was so cool! My only complaint is the Star Wars experience was too short, 10 minutes isn’t enough time :)! We will, however, be back for Jumanji! The service was awesome and organized!
I went to the VOID to try out the new Avengers: Damage Control. This place was awesome! I went alone, so one of the great staff members went with me and made the experience great. I will definitely be back!
My friends and I did the Jumanji experience, which was amazing. You get different skills and use them to get through the story. We really enjoyed ourselves?
Man... youve gotta try this place out! So life-like and great staff. Very pleased! Will definitely try again.
This place is awesome! I did The Avenger tour! The virtual reality is very immersive you could smell the scents like popcorn, and things burning. You could also feel the sensations of the things going on around you! The staff was also very helpful and informative. You could ask for help if you needed it or had a problem. Cant was to go back and experience Jumanji and the others!
Not in yet, but so far I can see it is very understaffed, and has a very long wait. Expect to get in 30 min after scheduled time. Kendall has been very helpful and nice, seems to be the only person working, they really should hire more people. (Edit) I just came out of it- I saw the star wars experience- spoilers ahead- I really admire the detail that went into the experience- the rooms, the lava and the controls. When I say this, I know they probably didn’t have enough time, but it was so short! You just go into a lava place shoot some guys go into another room press some buttons watch a cutscene and your done. It really was fun but I was so surprised when it ended, it was only what seemed like 10 minutes!
This was a very fun experience I really enjoyed myself at The Void with my family! When I come back to visit I would like to do the Nicodemus.
The time you book for means nothing. I really dont like my time being disrespected. We waited in line for an hour before getting a refund. You get shuffled from one line to another and the worker kept walking around asking what experience we were waiting for...he asked at least 3 times, Im not sure why we had to keep repeating ourselves. Seems understaffed.
Incredible experience! Totally immersive in every way. Only minor complaints: its an incredibly short experience. Time flies when youre having fun is a cute response, but the creatives behind the tech need to know that consumers are ready to pay up for longer experiences. Our host was also a little disillusioned especially considering our excitement.
Ive done The Void likely a dozen times, for various business and personal events. Looking forward to when it re-opens again.
Lines are much longer than the experience. Not worth wasting two hours after your scheduled appointment for a less than 30 minute vr experience.
I really enjoyed the experience. The VR is done really well. The Avengers experience felt like a good length. I only felt dizzy at one point (the circling ramp) otherwise it felt very smooth and realBut our session stopped half way because someones battery died. I think you all should check the battery levels more often. Also someone on the staff had their tablet mic on feeding into our headphone and they were with a different loud group. It was hard to hear our adventure at some points. You need to work on that sound issues.
The void was an experience like no other. ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC! as well as the super friendly staff. when you go make sure to ask for Bash, he was funny and very energetic overall a 10 for 10! will be visiting again
Unreal experience!!! I did Jumanji with my wife ( her idea ) and man I was NOT ready! I won’t spoil it for anyone but I definitely recommend this event! I’m going back next week...
@voidvr This place is like no other! The Atlanta team are the best! All three experiences we did left us wanting more! Special thanks to Natasha and the team for helping us have an awesome time! #YOUSHOULDBEHERE #VoidAtlanta
Our group was very disappointed with the amount of time we had to wait. We waited over an hour past our appointed start time. We even arrived 15 min early. The expierence was totally immersive and I wish their understanding of time management was equal to their technology. There was no communication from anyone working here. I would not recommend coming here unless you plan on waiting at least an hour.
The experiences are great. Highly recommend Avengers. Jumanji is ok. The management needs improvement as we had to wait in line quite a while after our appointment. They seem to overbook or not account for issues that arise as part of normal operation.
Be prepared to wait over an hour after your scheduled reservation time. There is no system and no organization for the queue. They let walk-ins in front of people with reservations. They should be turning people away when theyre booked, but they dont. And there is often no staff in the lobby to answer questions. Its such a shame that great technology can be ruined by awful logistics.
Amazing experience. Didn’t think it would be so interactive. I’m planning my next visit.
If you want to spend your night standing in line 4 times longer than the experience, the void is for you! Very cool experience but customer service? What’s that?
You’ll have to be prepared to wait and standing on line for another 45mins to one hour upon your reservation time. The experience itself is okay, but hopefully there would be more efficient booking method and implementation.
I booked the avengers theme at 9:15. We have walked back three times from the battery to be told it will be another 30 minute wait. Every time we come back we are told next time we see the guy at the counter he tells us a refund will be given along with the experience but wont actually give us either.TLTR: booking a time means nothing. They dont know how to schedule correctly.
Really fun experience! The starting time means nothing though. We made reservations for 8:45. We showed up at 8:35. We didn’t get started until almost 10. Atrocious service but fun experience.
We had an Avengers booking, but we still had to wait around in the lobby for about an hour and a half. There were only eight people front of us. There was no seating in the lobby so we were all standing the whole time or sitting on the floor. They really need to do a deep dive in to how the timing works. You can only go in groups of four, so we had to split up into a group of three and a group of two. Our host never spoke very clearly and it really felt like we were just kind of being herded through the briefing and suit up portions. My wifes gear wasnt working properly, but it took the host about five minutes to come to the conclusion that she needed a different set of equipment. The VR experience itself was blurry, chaotic, and only lasted maybe 10-15 minutes total. The host didnt have any kind of greeting or enthusiasm after it was over. He just helped us take of the gear and said have a good day. There was no acknowledgment by the front desk staff as we left. I am very glad that I had free tickets for this. Theres no way I would have been happy paying $40 for what we got.
Cool experience but way overpriced for a 15 min exp max
The VR experience was very cool, but shorter than expected. We had a 7pm reservation for Jumangi but didn’t get in until after 8pm. Employees were friendly but not extremely forthcoming when asked about the delay. Finally somebody came clean and said that somebody vomited in the experience and they had to basically restart two groups that were behind that group and it then set them back, but I suspect it’s also because they were letting in more walk-ins than they should have.We would go again to check out the Star Wars or Avengers experiences but we would certainly be prepared to wait again. We also had an issue with the equipment that was dismissed by the staff at first but we told them again right before the experience and they corrected it.For the record - we did see the staff wiping down the equipment between groups.Recommend that you plan on being late but it’s still worth checking out.
Great experience. Too bad you cant take photos in your virtual suit. I never looked better. Haha
Lots of fun! Great experience and most importantly the kids had a blast!
We went to the Void in Atlanta tonight to try the Avengers Damage Control. VR Experience was very cool and immersive. However, I cannot recommend this location as they were very disorganized and had poor communication. My 5PM booking turned into almost 6 PM before they even brought us to get suited up. Nobody asked us to sign a waiver. I even asked the guy at the desk about it and he said he would take care of it later. He told us to wait in the line. Later, when I asked another desk person about the wait we were told we had been waiting at the wrong area?! It wasnt until the girl helping us suit up realized that nobody in my group had signed waivers that we finally did it. The people paired with us had a time of 4:45PM! It is completely unacceptable to be forced to wait over an hour for something with specific times tickets. Once we finally got to play, the game broke within the first 5 minutes and we had to start all over. My 5 PM experience finally ended at 6:35PM. While the VR was cool, the location ruined the experience. 3/5 because of all the poor organization.
Fun interactive gaming experience! Great for a family or friends outing.
Great VR experience, but too much standing around and waiting when we supposedly booked for a specific time. They should either lower the number of bookings per time slot or spend less on fancy tvs and provide seating for their patrons.
It was AMAZING!! The best VR experience EVER! Jumanji was just like being in the movie. SO MUCH FUN!
So much fun! I’ve never experienced anything like it! Will definitely go back for the Jumanji one!
What a trip! I did the Avengers Damage Control experience last week and had no clue what to expect. Full VR, totally surpassed my expectations. Cool story, nice staff. My only negatives were that my left arm kept glitching in and out and I could never really get it to work the entire time and sometimes the world was blurry. I tried to adjust the helmet and the focus but faces often seemed blurry. All in all, very cool but pricey. $42 for 30 mins.
I’ve been here twice, and I have to say that the actual VR experience is fantastic, but the guy who led the experience on the last visit was pretty awful. On my last trip, the guide, a gentleman by the name of D’Avontae, couldn’t properly explain how the equipment worked, the fundamentals of the game, or the basic story. The intro video wasn’t working, so we had to rely on him to explain the background and how everything worked, which he barely even seemed to understand himself. He literally knew nothing and explained nothing. Since I had been there just the night before and was familiar with everything, I had to do his job for him. I literally had to explain the story, help people get the equipment on, and instruct people on how to use the equipment. In other words, he was so incompetent I had to do his job. When he did speak, he wasn’t even trying, was mumbling half the time, and lacked the ability to form intelligible speech. Seriously, fire this guy. How did he even get this job?
The overall customer experience is not worth the price point. The wait times are extremely long and the staff is not the most efficient.
Truly truly amazing, hella fun, just kind of quick in my opinion
The customer service at this place is horrible. I originally set up a reservation (paid in full) for my boyfriend and I to go on his birthday back in late July. They called me the day of to tell me they werent even open yet. When I asked them why they were taking reservations for dates they werent even open, they couldnt give me a straight answer. A few weeks ago,, I signed up again for the Nicodemus experience (again I paid in full). When we got there to check-in, the employee at the check in counter informed us the Nicodemus experience wasnt available anymore. At this point I got a refund out of principle. The only positive thing I can say is at least they refunded my money each time. It is incredibly unprofessional and sloppy to take peoples money for experiences that dont even exist. Im very disappointed.
Incredible VR experience ruined by abyssmal management and intentional overbooking, resulting in hours of disorganized waiting past your appointment time. All day every day they have hordes of people, milling about in the lobby, waiting hours, plural, past their appointment time. All the amazing tech in this place, and they couldnt figure out a DMV style queue at least? Or even a place to sit while you wait for hours? The staff, who were great, say theyve told management multiple times about the problems and that they need to stop intentional overbooking, but management doesnt care.VR experience is solid. Management is Trash.
Great VR experience. They need to work on the waiting times.
There is no VR like the Void offers. Incredibly immersive and AAA experiences like Star Wars and Avengers. Ive done it 5 times in Vegas, Orlando and Atlanta and still is great. Looking forward to Jumanji next time Im in town.
I hate leaving negative reviews but this was an awful experience. We were a walk in and had a start time of noon. After sitting on the floor for 30 mins I went up to the front desk and to see how much longer as we had to get on the road soon. He said check back in with him in 10 mins. I waited 20 and had to ask him again. They finally brought us back for the video brief for Avengers and we had to wait for 5 mins after the video because they forgot about us or didnt have a host. The suit up went fine until we went into the chamber as 2 of the suits did not work. During the game I had difficulty with my shield and with the shooting. I would suggest not to have so many people be able to book as it was a backed up in the lobby. I would try again as the one in Disney Springs was great and 5 stars.
This place is AWESOME! Yasmine was a great guide. Definitely going back soon.
The best VR experience out there. Truly immersive. Any fan of Star Wars/Avengers/Jumangi needs to do this at least once, you wont be disappointed.
Went here during the week just so its not packed but still had to wait 3 hours but it was alot of fun. Definitely the future of entertainment just wish the place was bigger for less of a wait time.
I just went this morning to do Nicodemus: Demon of Evanishment. The entire experience was excellent from beginning to end. It was very inmersive (scary but exciting at the same time). I went to The VOID by myself but one of the staff members accompanied me as a partner during the experience. It was the best thing because I would have quit halfway through due to fear if I had done it by myself. I had done the Star Wars experience on my last trip to Disney Springs and the staff in that location were not very professional. Here in Atlanta the staff was AMAZING. I felt welcome and excited to do this every step of the way. They currently have Star Wars, Nicodemus and Wreck-it-Ralph experiences. I was told they will have Ghostbusters at the end of October and a new upcoming Marvel experience soon. I will definitely be returning for both of them.
Avengers Damage Control was super awesome experience, definitely will come again to try other experiences!
First off, I ordered Nicodemus, but it turns out, they werent actually offering it even though I already paid for it. They gave me Avengers damage control as a replacement. Its a very linear story and gameplay doesnt matter. The story progresses without you. The website says your experience will be 30 mins. Ours was 30 on the dot but we spent 15 mins putting on gear (that wasnt working) and watching the intro video.
Very cool Awesome Star Wars experience but over way too quick
I had called for gift card for my granddaughters birthday09/21/. they havent been open long they suggested make a reservation which I did they assured me she will have a memorable experience. Omgoshhhh did she and her boyfriend attended 09/23/ they couldnt wait to call meNana she was so excited. She could barely talk for saying Nana thank you so much. She Never experience something like that ever before.they are so anime lol It was so well put together she had to keep saying to them selfs it wasnt realStar WarsThank youVoid for my granddaughter & her boyfriends fantastic time. Thank you Victoria-and manager I spoke with. Your made this grandma. Nana the super Bombs..
Really fun night! The Void was great!
Had a time scheduled at 745 and had to wait an hour past that time. Really limited our birthday night celebration.
STAFF & EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING!
Great experience. A little short for the price, but its worth it.
They promote 25-30 minutes at the front desk. After my two boys had gear on, they MAYBE had 15 minutes of playtime until their time was up.
Amazing experience!
Hour wait time even with a reserved time slot
Absolutely dope.
