Best place to work out ever. As a student, and a girl I felt completely safe here, sometimes being on your own on campus can be a little nerve wracking but I never felt this here. Very clean, and good machines. I loved it here. One of my favorite places on campus.

Really nice building with a lot of equipment. There are a basketball court, climbing wall, gym equipment, squash court, and running track.

Gym is really nice just wish people would actually wipe of the machines after use .

I took a brief tour and was impressed with the recreational sports offerings for OU students. Saw some lard butts about campus that should visit here more (hint hint).

Hard work makes you feel better. Although the equipment is a little bit outdated, the ping center still be a nice place to do gym.

Was a beautiful venue but the fans left much to be desired. The worst display of unsportsmanlike conduct Ive ever seen. Cheering injuries and kicking the injured, seemingly with the coaches and teams approval. Will not be returning.

A Sprawling facility filled with equipment that isnt nearly as nice as Planet Fitness. Decent overall.

Sure, the annual membership is cheap, working out to about a dollar a day. But the place is in horrible shape. Carpet in the whole place is permanently musty and dirty. Holes in the drywall. A lot of equipment in disrepair/broken. Oddest thing is that the water from the fountains tastes like hell.

The equipment is poorly maintained, out dated equipment, and not enough benches. Earlier this year I received a concussion from a cable machine breaking and hitting me in the head. Since then I have had 1 handle break on me, and another cable head break. The bars leave your hands disgusting. This place is a hazard.

Bathrooms are a little far from the entrance. Definitely NOT enough diversity in machines to use. However, it is a pretty decent gym.

This is a very big well equipped and clean recreation center. I enjoy working out there. The classes during the semesters are also very fun and often there is a wide variety of them. Good job. The personal training space however does need to be renovated and upgraded a bit.

Has been the same since their hex bar broke and they stopped letting people bring their own. Also, I preferred the old split legged press. Besides that, very good.

Equipment upkeep is not always efficient. Facility is in decent condition, some nice new equipment but the weight room is far too small for the amount of students present at any given time. Also should be open until at least 1 am to accommodate college schedules.

It doesnt smell bad but it definitely smells unique

Much too small of a facility for the number of students on campus. Between 3 and 8 pm, there is barely any room to move around in the main weight room just because there are so many people. Also, the large number of people contributes to the 3rd floor track having to be closed because of over heating. Equipment is nice but the University should build another rec facility.

Really need to resurface basketball courts, hasnt been done for the entirety of my undergrad. Machines go unrepaired for weeks to months (especially cables). Aside from that everyone is very nice.

What sets Ping apart from the other gyms in town is the variety of equipment, games, and resources. Ping has a rock wall, basketball courts, a space for Cross fit, Racquetball courts, an indoor track, and any kind of exercise equipment you can imagine. While is not the coolest gym, the hot water doesnt always work, and sometimes the music blares unnecessarily, it is a quality gym nonetheless.

Clean. Great staff. The manager gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. Looking forward to using the facility

The only nice thing I have to say is that the staff is friendly. But otherwise, this place is absolutely awful. It is 100% too small for the massive amounts of students that want to go. 5 squat racks for 30,000 students? Not to mention, it is gross. NO ONE wipes down anything in the main weight room. There is not enough of literally anything to have an efficient workout & the equipment in the main weight room breaks so often, it’s probably hazardous to use. As a student, I consider spending my money to go to a private gym.

Super nice rec center but mainly just for students at Ohio University. Non-students must pay a hefty $8 a day fee for entrance.
