Very well done! Spectacular displays, but much too short of a ride for the price - carpool! The lights were lovely but the radio station would not tune in.

Me and my husband went in 2016 right before we got married. It was magical, beautiful, peaceful and so romantic to walk thru. There were lots of families and couples like ourselves walking thru. We visit the gift shop before going out and walk around the garden with the lights. We also stop by the little coffee shop to grab some coffee and hot cocoa as well as we got 3 gingerbread man cookies for our 3 girls back at home. We made it a kids free just us spending time together. Will definitely go back. And do recommend this to families and couples.

We love visiting the NC Arboretum. Unfortunately the Winter Lights experience was extremely disappointing. It is only drive through due to COVID, which would be fine if they had put more thought into the execution. The light exhibit opens at 5:30 PM. We approached the Arboretum from Brevard Rd as instructed and found a line of cars already waiting. We took our place in line (estimate we were 1 mile from the turn into Arboretum) and then inched along for 2 hours! After 2 hours of waiting, we still hadn’t made it to the right turn into the Arboretum, so we gave up and went to dinner instead as the natives in my vehicle were getting restless and many needed to use the restroom! Very poor planning by the people running this event. Sell timed tickets to help control the crowds or something! It was a hellish experience, typical of 2020. The only light we saw were brake lights.

Beautiful winter lights, but not worth of 25 dollars. Its only drive thru due to covid-19. I didnt mind the drive because it was kind of chilly outside anyway, but it was only about 10 minutes long..

It was our first time going for winter lights. It is drizzling rain, but that didnt stop us. It was beautiful and breathtaking. A must see.

Due to Covid this is only a drive thru that last only 12 minutes for 25 dollars. Not worth your time or money. No laser lights or synchronized lights and the a.m. station has a terrible connection. No walking or getting out of car and no place to go yo bathroom or get a drink of any sort. I think they need new management. N.C. should be ashamed.

Been to alot Christmas lights this was one of the worst Ive seen especially for the money. Will never go back or recommend anyone to go. I am very confused about the concept winter lights with no santa claus but has flowers and butterflies. Maybe if it was like $10 a car in stead of $30.

If 0 stars were an option i would go with that. This was a waste of 2hours 45.min of my life that I will never get back, and that was just the wait. Then I got inside and it was worse, over before you knew it. not nearly enough lights, nothing christmas about it. When you first drive in, it was too dark no lights, too much space between lights everything was far away.. The radio station Barley came through. Definitly not worth $25.

Way to short! The lights were not very exciting compared to other light festivals I have been to. Definitely not worth the money.

Very short light show. the music was terrible and you could barely hear it. lights do not keep beat with the music not worth the $30 to see them. Would not recommend going also it took almost an hour to get into see them we sat twice as long in traffic as the entire light show i seen more brake lights than Christmas lights

Peaceful. Thoughtfully laid out. Open fire pits with benches, romantic and inviting. Tasteful, varied music throughout. Heard the cocoa was delicious and cider and wine to enjoy as you walk. The model train is entertaining and well laid out. There is a wishing tree and free craft for families to make and take. The lighted quilt is unique. The Bistro is excellent and the smores area popular. Even the parking lot is decorated. Every turn is a photo op.

The lights are very pretty, but they get old quickly. This may be more interesting to children than adults.
