Couldnt recommend any stronger. Apart of course from having a very unique, artistic and distinct selection & style, Robert was extremely helpful, and professional assisting me as I bought two stunning pendant lights. Im on the other side of the country so I shopped virtually through the Splurge Instagram page, which was very responsive. Something tells me this wont be my only purchase...now just wish I could see the store in person.

Walked into the shop by accident and found the coolest industrial and creative lighting fixtures of all shapes and sizes. Specialty bulbs of equally all shapes and sizes! Robert, the designer was present and discussed all of the commission orders he gets for all sorts of different and creative lighting fixtures. The shop is wonderful and inspiring. I’m definitely wondering how I can get one of his pieces into my art studio. Lighting is everything!

My friend and I came here because it is the first store that came up under “antique stores near me”. We ended up loving all of the pieces and thought everything was unique but when I asked the woman working if there were any other antique stores nearby, I was met with arrogance. She very rudely let me know it was “a working art space” and that we “should ask before taking photographs of artwork” - even though we were just testing our new cameras and didn’t intend to use the photos - so we left. We did not feel welcomed and it ultimately left a sour experience of the River Arts District.

We visited this place based on the high reviews and that its labeled as an antique store. However, its more of an eclectic repurposed art gallery. Definitely a neat place with lots of conversation pieces. Lots of old materials turned into art pieces. Very well done too. Nothing really antique though. Id give it 5 stars if it was an art gallery, but its very misleading being labeled an antique store.Because of the owners arrogant response to my fair review on Google, Im taking my score to one star. I genuinely complimented his art, yet he met my review with petty arrogance. Typical offended artist.The owner is blaming Google and Yelp’s issue that his business is mislabeled. However, it’s even on the store front it says “antiques.” Hmmmmm...

When I think of Ashville, I think of Splurge. Beautiful art, blinking light designs and excellent statement pieces for any home or business.

Picking at its highest level! The eye that Robert has is outrageous. He has his PHD in this field. Great location too... You have to experience it yourself and fill your home with as many SPLURGE pieces as possible.

Splurge is one of the most unique concepts for a storefront that I have ever seen. Beautiful one-of-a-kind antiques, original custom lighting and amazing furnishings that will make any place remarkable. I absolutely love Splurges jute light which was the perfect addition in my office! I cant recommend this store and Robert Nicholas highly enough to anybody looking to bring unparalleled style to their special space!

Must see antique shop in Asheville! Creative art & amazing light fixtures!

I have stopped by Splurge a few times as Ive passed through Asheville North Carolina. So many great unique items available and some items you may not find anywhere else. Robert has a great eye for design especially in the area of lighting. He can help you create a great atmosphere in your home or business. His store is also located in a great section of Asheville. I highly recommend making this one of your stops when youre in Asheville NC!

This place is one of the coolest galleries in Asheville. I highly recomend checking it out!
