Im able to find real comfort in Marys work. I own several pieces, and each reveals different moods, and I turn to each at very different times. I recently decided to give myself the present of having a Mary Farmer painting in my bedroom, where I wake up daily to a luscious and delightful color-filled tableau. And its a new thing for me, allowing myself to revel in an original piece of art that I selected for specific reasons, and which continues to give me pleasure.

I have become a collector of Mary’s work. People come into my home and their first response when entering my living space is WOW! That painting! It just “Makes” the room!! It is a custom piece which Mary designed for the area above my fireplace and below glass windows which allow light into the bedroom behind that wall.My second piece is above the staircase descending to my lower level. It “speaks” to the other painting which I referred to above. Different but ties in perfectly with the hues. Mary is such a talented artist with a real vision for placement, color, hues and focus in your home.My third piece is behind my sofa in the lower level. Again, it evokes the “WOW” factor in my guests as it is a true statement piece and yet it anchors the room with complimentary colors and hues.
