My friend took me to this place. Has a very relaxed and classy vibe. I loved it! Their beer selection is also quite interesting. Would definitely like to come back again.

The epitome of a great local music hangout club, with good sound, a cool red velvet curtain that opens and shuts between acts, and layers of fantastic decor and vibe that you can only get from decades of heart and soul poured into a place. You can look at the stickers, posters, and aphorisms forever, and dont miss the working Heiniken windmill and mini carousel. This place is magic!

A rather mostly unknown small place in Asbury which really should be more well-known or have more visibility... I like the place as they often go where most clubs like House if Independents or Stone Pony in Asbury dont do for live music of obscure, older or up and coming bands (in the past few months saw Dinosaur pile-up, China Crisis and a Joy Division cover band there) also on occasion the Saint hosts alternative indie New Wave dance nights which I like to go to as there are very few places in South Central or South Jersey that play music from WLIR Melody bar the Ritz Etc (Smiths, Cure, New Order, etc). Staff are nice usually nice and cordial and drink prices reasonable. Check out their calendar and if something suits your fancy by all means visit the place...lets keep small indie places like this going!

What can you really say about the Saint? Its the Saint, an Asbury Park staple! Its a tiny dive thats been around forever hosting local and national acts. Maybe 150 capacity? The beers are cold and the music is good. Thats it.

Go see the bands here, the sound is great and you wont hear bands like this anywhere else.

One of the few dive bars left that I have respect for. The drinks are reasonably priced ($4 Miller high life and PBR. They also have a bunch of local brews) and they almost always have live music. They support local musicians of every variety. Ive seen bands that played country, punk, death metal, hair metal, rap, and even some weird outer space stuff. Every night is a different experience.

The saint was amazing! We went to see a band that we thought started st 630 per our tickets. Only to find out that there were 2 cover bands before and the band we thought we could see wasnt going to go on until probably 10 or 1030.. the staff was amazing. They let us come in for the sound check. Band members came over and talked to us. Nice experience! Thanks for going above and beyond!

Came to check out a friends band, The Tea Club. They sounded good. Drinks arent too expensive. Good place.

It is the quintessential dive bar and so much more (or less). Perspective is everything... for example, I think it smells like urine, my partner calls it the smell of rock & roll. If you like intimate gathering spaces with a heart and personality youll love the charm.

Another awesome live music venue to bring Asbury Parks local music scene to life! This place is super small, but its always a good time. They tend to have smaller, local acts, and you never know what youll discover going there! The bathroom is awesome and all stickered up on every surface! Its got a real rock n roll feel to it.

A great venue to see live performances. It is obvious from the decor that this place has a long history of great performers. Drinks are reasonably priced but please note it is a cash bar.

Wonderful music venue. I saw Billy Hector play there last Monday. Oh my.. It was better than seeing Daft Punk live. A life changing experience. 10/10 would recommend. Will go again.

Its The Saint. Cheap beer. Good music. Music lover crowd. No frills. Last show I saw the bands tour us was longer than the venue lol... its why the Saint is its own awesome place.

Such a good night out, really music makes such a change from the dull manufactured sounds they dish out on the radio nowadays.

This is an intimate and internationally acclaimed rock club. Excellent sound system and good affordable drinks. A favorite and historic anchor of the Asbury Park Music Scene. Sean Lennon, Full Fathom 5, and the Ramones have appeared here

Wouldnt go here unless theres someone performing I really want to see. Not a great layout but drinks are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. Have heard their booking management is pretty bad though.

As far as New Jersey goes, the place for years and years has been a quintessential venue for start-up musicians and bands playing their own original music. Great sound system Comet knowledgeable sound people comma good lighting, stage, curtains and a very early sixties Rock atmosphere

Small bar with a small stage, but man does it really create an intimate show! Boogarins was phenominal, and I was pretty stoked to see some local talent play as well! Hell, I recognized one of the singers at a local record store! Definitely keeping my eye open to come back.
