I love this park! Its perfect for the whole family. Lots of space, paved and dirt paths, a nature/educational center, and a lake where you can watch the geese and waterfowl play. Use caution though with small kids and pets, as coyotes are common in the area.
Great place to get some fresh air for a quick walk in the park. Saw many people having professional pictures taken using this park as the backdrop. Many leaves on the ground which made for great autumn family pictures. Snow scenes would probably be good too.
In close proximity to the house. It is a really nice park, very easy to find and is right off of the road. Also has a beautiful view of the front range and at sunset you have a lovely view to end the evening while the kids get their energy out.
Not a 2-5 years of age (posted) park, its dangers, steep and to tall. Otherwise its big and beautiful
This is a park that we have visited for over 20 years. We have also given a memorial bench to honor our nephew who died of cancer.
Omg sorry but im from Austin Texas is a beautiful park i can see those beautiful mountains cant stop seen it..hell yell..
I have always loved this park. Between the views, the nature trail and the play ground. Its a Great Park!
Great park for families, groups or just by yourself. Lots to do and great walking paths!
Beautiful mountain views from this park. Nice playground with some tennis courts. Both seem to be used frequently but Ive never seen them crowded. Theres a really nice nature center with a beautiful garden around it that is labeled with all the plant varieties and ecosystems theyve recreated. The nature center is really great and geared towards children. Theres also some extra short trails across the street that are well graded/tended making for a easy walk.
Wonderful as always nice easy trails to walk, and a place for the kids to play. Plus you cant beat yhe views.
Great place to hike around. Seen coyotes and deer here several times.
Gorgeous scenic views - sunset photos here are idyllic.
Not bad for kids. It has tennis courts.
Interesting layout. With cool areas to walk. And a majestic view.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Great place to walk!
Pretty views. Not too crowded.
Very nice n peaceful to eat lunch at,
Would give 5 stars if mosquito control was done
This park is big and beautiful. Wonderful place for a photoshoot.
Pretty cool kids park and loads of trees. Just be careful with the frisbees
WOW beautiful!! And the people I encountered were so darn friendly it was amazing made my Day!
Great view. Family park. Clean and police patrol it often enough to help keep it safer. Be polite and help us keep this park a nice place for everyone to use and enjoy
Love this hike with my dog!
Walking trails, big kids play park, horseshoe, tennis and basketball areas, picnic areas and also sits next to a pond.
Perfect for a picnic with the fam! Beautiful trails and open restroom!
Long shot here, but my Benchmade knife fell out of my pocket while flying a kite on Saturday, April 11th. I went back to checked the entire area later that night and it wasnt there so someone must have picked it up. It was a Christmas gift from my wife and I would love to have it back.
This is a really nice park off of 72nd. It is usually pretty quiet and has beautiful views of the foothills. It is a great place to watch the sunset. It is also really nice for walking around or picnicking.
Beautiful views, nice walking path and a nature center.
Great park to stop by and enjoy some good views. On site you will find bathrooms clean enough. There is a massive playground with plenty to do if you happen to have kids. You will also find the start of trails that lead to the nature center. The lake features grass carp that are 19 years old if I remember they are anywhere from 6-8 feet. If you continue past the awesome gardens youll find more trails that lead to a wetland viewing trail, this also leads to the other side of the lake. All around great experience with friendly people running the area.
The kids the love this park on sunny days and now to find out its great for sledding too! Yesterday was great sledding and today was colder but still fun!
The walking paths are nice & th amount of wildlife is really comforting.
Nice walking path and garden.
Great playground for my grandkids.
It was a cute Park kind of small. Wish there would have been a little bit more of a play area for older children as my daughter is 7. But all in all she had fun!
Nice place but limited due to the Covid.
Lovely park! It really does have majestic views, and I like the little nature center as well. Nice place to take a walk, and also some great photo ops. Good walking path w a couple of options for length of walk, doesnt look very big from the parking lot but its actually a pretty good sized park w a fair amount of stuff to do. Theres a drinking fountain for humans and dogs, shut off during winter. Would visit again! Id like to walk around it during each of the seasons.
Love this park. The view is fantastic.
One of the best parks in Denver. Very clean and well maintained. Always reccomend for tourists in the area
Nice park with good views and winsome gardens.
Beautiful views of mountains. Good for walking the approx 1/4 mile paved circle. Take a lunch break. Meet your girlfriend/boyfriend, play tennis on courts. Watch birds but beware of coyotes & foxes. Outhouses on site.
Very beautiful and spacious park!
Arguably the best park in Arvada. Before the 72nd road widening it was definitely a hidden gem but still great place to take in the beauty of Arvada.
Beautiful mountain views from this park. Nice playground with some tennis courts.
Great park thats close to home. Great view, good playground equipment, well maintained bathrooms and secluded area for horseshoes. Easy to get to.
My daughter had a blast. However some of the kids who were much older and bigger were not being to nice and there is a bridge on the playground that is very skinny allowing only one child to pass at a time and it is somewhat difficult for little ones making it sorta dangerous when kids are running around trying to get by.
Keep an eye out, you might see some deer
I love walking with my dogs at Majestic view park ♡ its beautiful & enjoy seeing all the wild life
This is a wonderful park with great views, a nice playground, tennis courts, horse shoe pits, riding and walking trails, a quaint nature center, and lots of activities for the family and kids. The north parking is great for the playground and the south western parking is for the nature center but is closed more often.
I love this idyllic park that features everything you would want - a cute playground, tennis courts, a nature center (with kids area) and a nice trail with views of wetlands, a pond, and wildlife. Definitely walk the trail to the Nature Center where you can learn about the surrounding area, see stuffed wildlife (fox, brown bear, wolf, lynx, etc.), fish and turtles. The center is well maintained with friendly guides and informative exhibits. They feature nature walks, storytime, and other fun events for budding young naturalists, or children. Dont miss this hidden gem with... You guessed it, Majestic Views!
Awesome views at this park..
This park is great! We had such a blast here! They have porta potties that are maintenance weekly, and a huge field of nice grass. The playground is awesome for the little ones, a bit far from the field but still cool.
Great place for a field trip. Awesome volunteers. Kids love it. Easy location
Beautiful park. Great place to spend a few hours.
Fun area for kids to play around, there are also tenis AND basketball courts
A cute little park with a nice view of the mountains and a park for kids. There are also tennis and basketball courts.
Good place to take the kiddos. There is even a cute little lake to skip rocks on.
It was a very fun park. It has basketball hoops, tennis courts and an amazing view of the mountains. The only thing was that some of the park bordered properties with houses that were pretty close.
Abundant playground equipment, three tennis courts and a great view...thus the name
I dont get to see the mountains often. This was my first trip in 10 years. I enjoyed just being able to relax and take in the beauty.
Wish the trails were longer, or looped. But very pretty!!
This is a huge park with a small playground, a nature walk, and 4 tennis courts
A lovely little park with something for everyone. Groomed grass, tennis courts, playground, wildlife preserve, and gorgeous views.
Chill, relaxing with easy access and parking.
Great municipal park with a very nine joking area !
Was there as a guest for a Wedding. Nice nature center.
Great views. Terrible that they put 72nd through the park though
Gorgeous little park!
Amazing secret garden. A geourgous park hidden in suburbia.
Nice neat little park .The wife and I would go there to get away from the house. Good quite place to sit back and just enjoy the natural beauty of the outdoors.
A beautiful spot with hills to walk to get your heart pumping . The view is why you go here!
Nice place for family
6/5. Totally recommend. The view lives up to the hype in the name. It was 7/5 stars before 72nd was punched through. OG Arvadans know what I’m talkin about.
Greetings, A good park to observe the seasonal changes. Happy trails
It was nice
Great park!Pros: Visitor center with good information for children and an area to sit for adults. Handicap accessible! Well maintained fields, trees, gardens. Several tennis and basket ball courts. Great view of the mountains!Cons: Only one entrance can be used when the visitor center is closed.
Love this park along with most in Arvada. Love the trees, benches, open spaces and it had a great playground plus basketball and tennis equipment. It does NOT have enough picnic tables and it really needs nice, permanent bathrooms.
Probably the best kept secret visitors center and wildlife display with adjacent park and open space
Really beautiful view of the mountains, nice trails and shady benches.
Good place to walk my dog
I love the interpretive info on trails. Age appropriate programming for kids - check out online schedule. Safe, spacious parking.Get out there and run the trails (easy), fly kites in the open space, or walk quietly. Youll probably see other people, and yet youll have plenty of space for yourself.
One of my favorite parks, never too busy.
Love it. Has exactly what the name suggests.
Beautiful view...name says it all.
Gorgeous view, close to home, everybody is friendly
My favorite park in Arvada. Aptly named!
Majestic View has just that - a great view of the mountains! Its a great park, also. There are fields for running and playing, there are plenty of trees, basketball and tennis courts, and a playground. I didnt notice if there were picnic tables or a grill. The playground is fantastic, there are many features that make it unique. The shape of the structure is like a tree house, and there are many ways for little people to climb up and may slides to come down. There are pretend play stations, there are benches built into the structure. There are monkey bars, and also a neat bridge to walk across, its different than the typical playground bridge. There is a spiral slide, and a steep slide. There is a rock climbing wall, and drums to bang on. There are swings. The ground cover is mulch.
OMG, the view from that Park is absolutely stunning!
Beautiful views
