This was my first time experiencing Mustang Waterpark in Garden Grove, CA. This place is so awesome and perfect for kids and adults of all ages to have fun and relax. The waterpark is located inside the hotel! You can literally walk right down to the waterpark from your room, since they open at 9am and close at 8:30pm. They have plenty of dining areas and shops. Theres even a Dunkin Donuts inside the lodge; and their Bear Paw Sweets and Eats is located right next to the waterpark, they serve Dip n Dots as well as regular ice cream, and other sweet treats.

Great day park for everyone from 1-100. Nice area around wading pool to relax and watch the kids. Reasonably priced the only thing missing is more slides, there are only 3. To add to the fun I suggest camping at Lake Lopez. From the campgrounds its a 5 minute car ride to mustang water park. The grounds are clean and pretty large.

Family camping trip a must!! Boys love the waterpark!!!

Off season during the Central Coast Indian Summer is a great time to beat the crowds of summertime. Although the Water Park attraction is closed during this time, Camping, boating, fishing, hiking, zip-line, and other activities are still in full force. Best place for families and groups for the under 50 demographic, 50 and older,...bring an RV!

Spent a lovely night camping at Lake Lopez.

Watermark was cool to look at, we camped and had a blast. Only one bear encounter this year!

This place is a beautiful camping area. We will come back next year.

It was okay, i enjoyed my ride to the water slides

Great little water park! Water slides arent huge but are the perfect in between for both big kids and little kids. Lifeguards are on duty in and around the main pool and play area. Staff are very helpful and professional. Recommend reserving a cabana to relax in the shade.

Great place for kids. Safe. I just wish they would charge less for parents who are just there to watch their kids.

Checked out Lopez lake to see the lay out. Very impressed. Ask ranger for information book so you can plan your trip. Water super, play areas are super. Diffently planning a rv trip. Check out the water slide and water play area. Now thats really nice.

Ohmygosh. Our group loved it! Everything was so fun! I just wished there were an adults pool or something like that.

Great little park to stay cool! The slides were perfect for our 11 and 8 year olds. Adults enjoyed buckets of beer on the patio. Reasonable pricing for entrance fee and food/beverage. We camped at Mallard and walked over, then went back to camp to make lunch. They also have a picnic area in front of the entrance to eat in the shade. The only reason I dont give 5 stars is because the bathrooms were a little outdated and seemed dirty. Otherwise, a really fun time.

It had waterslides only 3, no adult pool,just a kiddie pool. Most likely not return. But their staff was great.

Disable then elderly but they one and to charge $14 each 1. That was for elderly price also no water just watch, Their parents were with them since we could not even see Them we left. Bummer for us and the kids Shame on you Lopez Lake!

Super fun place for the family! The water slides use the lake water. There are only two options for slides, but it never gets old! Love it here! Beautiful lake as well and clean camping.

It’s a definitely a must go place but... more slides they only have 3 and a pool so add more slides please

Was very kid friendly and affordable if your camping its awesome you are right next to this park only down side no cool off pool for adults so we loitered in the kiddie pool lol

Over priced, you have to pay for Day Use of the lake regardless that youre going to the waterslides, and as a whole there isnt much to do.Much better served going to the Ravine or Lompoc Aquatic Center.

Mustang Waterpark at Lake Isabella or Elizabeth is awesome it is absolutely gorgeous I would love to go there all the time and actually live there great place to take the family or just go with your buddies and have a good time absolutely gorgeous absolutely beautiful love that Lake I would go there all the time and not hesitate to ever come back home water is beautiful fishing is great the park is wonderful highly recommend to anyone that wants to go there but if youre going camping or anything like that I suggest to go camping

Fantastic place for families. The lifeguards are great and always paying attention. The swim area for toddlers is perfect and just their speed. highly recommend!!!

We traveled far and paid to get into lake lopez where the park is located and waited to find out the park was closed. The person who was in charge of the park was very rude and did not care. Never going back.

It was awesome. The new slide called Stampede was scary but exhilarating, definitely recommended it. The pools were clean and there was a lot of sitting. The prices are kind of high but we went with the school fieldtrip so it was at no cost to us for a few hours.

I enjoy coming here once a year, I love the memories we make here with our family and friends. The park rangers are very nice and helpful and keep the everything safe. The staff at the marina not so pleasant. The were unfriendly & very rude. I will come again but I will be sure to avoid the marina staff.

The kids always enjoy the place. Its clean and a friendly environment. The weathers always nice too.

Its very small only has 2 slides for adults and bigger kids and one big pool for the little kids

Was not over crowded as it is only available for use to those staying in a campground at Lake Lopez. Was clean, water slides were fun, ample attentive lifeguards. Great break with the kids while camping!

Great spot next to the lake thats just the right size for a family outing. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Our five year old had a lot of fun.

Always fun at mustang

New owners have fixed the place up for the 2015 summer. Place looks amazing. Its all painted and safe and its the perfect way to spend a hot summer day with kids. Good snack bar too.

We loved the service when we rented a Cabana. The kids had a great day.

Lots of different camps for campers and RVS but there are great spots. The wildlife is amazing here. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Great hiking and biking trail. We would return.

We had a great time here (as adults). I was afraid that it would be crowded on the Saturday that we went, and was pleasantly surprised that we never waited in line for more than 5 mins. The two slides that have been there forever are fun and the new half pipe is crazy amazing. There is also a great kiddie pool. They now serve beer and wine and have a snack bar. You can rent cabanas if you plan on staying all day. They also sell season passes, if it is something you would want to do 3 times or more in the season, it is worth it.

Kids of all ages will happily play all day. Birthday package is a good deal.They should add information about $10 per car day use fee in addition to waterpark entry fee, especially since its cash only at the entry kiosk.

Always good family fun

Love it! Sometimes difficult to get a beer, but why be in a hurry at a waterpark. So nice when you can camp right next to it too.

Needs to be renovated so more people can come, and it’ll be the hotspot like before.

For the price you have to pay to get in in the lake and still pay for the water park attractions well what else can go wrong.

I been camping at this lake sense I was a little kid .. I also remember when they built and opened this water slide it was a blast back then and wasnt a lot of waterslides around . been goin to Lopez lake sense early 70s havent been back for awhile now but Im glad to hear it is still there and that kids are still enjoying it like we all did as kids

Fun but not happy they dont have the observer small fee anymore. Its too expensive to pay full price for adults to watch their kids.

Water was very dirty. My daughter got an eye infection and my other girls a stomach infection probably not enough chlorine in the water.
