Great park! Lots of unique spots for kids and adults. Our favorite was the yellow slides, but also seesaw, sand area, rope climbing things, and our activities. Also basketball courts, grass fields, ample benches. Street and garage parking. Also, across from an elementary school with even more play ground equipment. Short walk to the trail.
Absolutely gorgeous park that runs through 4 miles of Arlington, VA. There are many active people throughout the park, while others choose to sit at the picnic pavilion or play by the water. This park is abundant with wildlife, especially chipmunks. Living less than a mile from this park - I loved visiting this park often.
Brand new park with plenty of free parking garage underneath the outdoor facility. Outdoor basketball court and 4 Pickleball courts. Arlington County is still making adjustments to the park to improve the Pickleball play by adding barriers. There is also an outdoor childrens playground. Indoor basketball and Pickleball is available but because of COVID, most are staying outside for now.
Residents of Ballston and Arlington are in for a fantastic community center. Architecture is amazing.
Newly renovated outdoor park is a delight.
Love the new kids park.
The new playground is awesome!
Very nice
The Lubber Run ampitheater is a wonderful, little known music/performance venue. They offer free, live music concerts weekly during the summer. Lots of different musical genres -- something for everyone.
Its the New under construction building will be beautiful once its done were installing the windows so I know its going to be awesome
This tree is a fixture. Years ago it fell on its side that has now grown into the ground. It has adapted in such a great shape!
Nice walking trail and grill stations along lubber run. There is an ampitheater where local groups perform. Nice evening.
Great place to near the city. Plenty to do for the kids and pets.
Excellent park
Great place to take a novice bikerider, but smell of sewage is prevalent in places. Beautiful glades next to babbling creek are great if you can ignore the smell.
Pretty but not unkept after the bridges were destroyed.
Park near the trail. Also near the lubber run community center that us being rebuilt. There is a trail in the park along with a picnic shelter. There is also a fire ring and BBQ facilities. There are restrooms as well as a an ampitheater. Very quiet and peaceful spot. There is a playground at Edison park nearby if you are looking for one. You can connect through to the wo&d trail with a lite jog through the neighborhood.
This is one of my favorite parks in the area! It’s almost it’s own valley and when you’re walking through the park you forget that you’re sandwiched between two very busy roads. There are so many trees and even a creek that cuts through the park that it’s hard to believe you’re only 5 miles away from the nation’s Capitol. There are two main walking/biking trails- one paved and the other is worn through the woods. There are lots of offshoots of these trails to connect the park to the local neighborhood. Pets are also welcome
Good pls to walk and exercise with great scenery
This park has a beautiful trails throughout. There are picnic tables, benches by the playground, and an asphalt volley ball court. There is also an amphitheater. There are at least two parking lots but Googles navigation leads to neither.
A great getaway from the urban area surrounding it.
