First time visiting this park. I found it to be very familiar friendly with lots of green space a basketball court picnic tables playground and a shelter with an outlet. Bathrooms are clean and warmed with heaters. I had a great experience

Short, easy & convenient trails for a quick, little adventure. The trees all smell so fresh. There are benches and improved trails throughout the woods. There is a full basketball court, big grass field, and a playground. There are smaller meadows within the trees. This is one of our favorite parks.

Nice clean park. Great friendly playground for the kids. Great environment. The park has picnic tables, shade, swings for little ones, a basketball court, sandboxes, small and large playground and trails to explore. Not far from hospital so you will hear sirens constantly and busy road so it is loud near the playground. If you walk in the trails it’s nice and quiet. Overall great place to take little ones. My son enjoyed this park. It does have public restrooms near playground. I also liked that it is fenced in.

Its not a huge area but this park caught my attention when I saw nearly 2/3 of the place is woods. Ive become so accustomed to parks being open spaces with a a few trees (if any). Especially, not enough to block view of the house on the other side. So as you can guess, to be able to get to be surrounded by tall trees shading the sun a bit was a treat. In the woods there is a pavilion and a separate a fire pit area - the trail to those places is paved making it available for someone in a wheelchair to enjoy as well. In the grassy part theres an open space for sports, basketball hoops and a (currently being renovated) playground. This is a great place to just enjoy being outside with out the noisy distractions that a town or city offer.

Nice place with short walk through the woods option, but the playground needs swings for bigger kids, and the Sports field needs to be leveled. A lot of parents nannies do park their kids here unsupervised (on the phone) and so youll find sand has been tranferred to the drinking fountain, bathroom and basketball court...what a constant mess!

Fun playground for younger kids. Older kids like the woods and the campfire area is good for a group. Be careful in the woods, though - theres a lot of poison ivy here! And be sure to bring insect repellent. There are lots of mosquitoes here!

If youre into exploring the great outdoors, then Lacey Woods Park is a great place to experience the full essence of nature. With a plethora of possibilities ranging from sporting events to playgrounds and nature trails, everyone is certain to have an amazing time. I was referred to make a visit to the well-known park to help find a secluded area where I could focus on my art. Safe to say, I found what I was looking for and then some once I made it to the nature trail. Featured with a beautiful landscape and overflowing with positive energy, I was able to unwind and let my creativity flow as I enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature. Terrific place that I would strongly reccomend people from all over to visit. I will definitely be returning there more frequently!

Low key, but really fun park. It is one of my kids favorites. They have a big jungle gym as well as a green yellow and red shooting ball game thats really fun for the kids to play. It is nice that you can watch them all at one time even when theyre not doing the same thing.

This place is next to a very busy street, however theres free parking readily available off the street. There is a decent flat, grassy field, a nice jungle gym for kids, 2 pavilion areas (that are reservable), a basketball court, and bathrooms. There is a good amount of cool, shady, woods to walk through with little dirt paths, however this would not be a good place to run.

This park has a nice playground, basketball courts with bathrooms which are open in season. However it has a pavillion which is perfect for birthday parties and other small special events. It feels like you are in the woods even though the park is located in north Arlington near a hospital.

One of the older park designs, as of this writing. Enough to entertain rug rats for a while though, and in good condition. Great field for tossing frisbees, or an impromptu soccer pitch. The bathrooms are only seasonally available. Basketball court lights stay on fairly late. For meeting space, the pavilion and fire ring in the woods give lots of privacy. Parking on George Mason is busy, but you can also park on the other side of the park (N Frederick St) which is much calmer.
