After a nice hike you can relax at the Pack Station. Enjoy a meal and beer.
Great people! I needed help with my car and they helped me patiently. I really really appreciated it.
Deb, the owner told me I can mail Stuff to her and she can donkey it to sturtevant camp, I could pick it up. So I mailed it. Hiked to sturtevant, my stuff was not there.Left several messages on her personal cell phone, to mail it back to me. She has never contacted me. Basically poor service.
Good food, good drinks, very reasonably priced even if it wasnt your only choice in the area. Had maybe one of the most blissful afternoons of my life there - after a 9 mile winter hike, we stopped there for a beer. They had a fire going along with a Christmas lights. We sat around the fire, had a beer, pet the cats, and had maybe the most perfect end to a hike Ive ever had.
Great rustic pack statioon. Camp type amenities. Snack food is available, maps, some tourist items for sale. The free concerts are very down home. Funky fun.
After doing the Sturtevant Falls hike, we stopped by the pack station and hydrated. They have some souvenirs, notably patches, map bandanas, and t-shirts. Prices are as you’d expect at a tourist destination, but the service was very homey and personalized. They also have a super friendly cat!
Awesome place to go hiking and grab a bite to eat after the hike food not that great!
This is where I bought my national forest adventure pass for Angeles Forest and a great day of mountain biking.
Grit was outstanding.... great.
Daily Forrest passes are sold here that you must display on your window. Good place to buy a few snacks or refreshments if you forget to pack your own.
Great place to hang out after a hike
After 30 minutes of twist and turns around the scenic mountain drive, your hiking journey begins at Adams Pack Station. The station offers supplies and helpful guides about the various trails and camping grounds in the area. People are down-to-earth and friendly to talk to. Make sure you have $5 in cash for parking just in case the station is closed. I have been coming here with family and friends over the years and have enjoyed every moment of it. Enjoy the hike and dont forget to check out the beautiful Sturtevant Falls!
Beautiful area! Live music on Sunday during the summer. Goats, donkeys, dogs, cats, hikers. They have a general store and hot food, burgers, hotdogs ECT. Nice relaxing place!
Love this place! Great food and music on the weekends, as well as ice cold water for after your hike! Dont forget to pet the goats and bring $5 cash for parking!
After a hike this place is a great way to unwind & have beer & food.
The food is good (burgers, hot dogs, and paninis). The donkeys and goats can be fun for kids to watch. Nice break without needing to drive back out of the park.
A precious and treasured corner of canyon magic. The Pack Station still operates!
Friendly, warm, and Helpful. Great place to get away from it all.
This place is invaluable for hikers who come to Mt. Wilson, and specifically John at the Pack Station is beyond helpful in hiking info and general helpfulness. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
Good food, reasonable prices and goats! What not to love?
Great place to come and hike. Have $5 for parking in case the store is closed. Simple, good food (burgers, paninis), nice people and goats!
One of the best places to hike, weekends are super packed tho.
Sturdevant falls was beautiful. Great hike to take my young boys....
Great to visit on the weekend when they are cooking up some tasty food!
They have a great vegetarian panini. Very good food here.
This is a beautiful hike and the pack station has everything you need to fuel up. Parking is crowded on the weekends so get there early.
Its nice to have a general store right by the trailhead, but charging $20/day for dirt parking because the public spots are usually full is a bit of an overreach, given that they are in National Forest territory and already make money on the Adventure Passes they sell for the public spots.
Oass by that place it seems to be nice to see what they got
Everyone at Chantry Flats is helpful & friendly. The pack station has some of the basics you may need & snacks!
Super friendly people with great insight to the area.
Fun day hike, but the falls are all dried up.
Cool spot, great hikes!
Nice folks here!
Perfect place for business
Got to see this place
Live music from 12-5
Friendly people. Great history.
