Offers better snacks. Staff are very polite and helpful. Nice and clean reception, waiting area and bathrooms. Clean theater specially the seats. We have a theater close to our place in old town Pasadena but the seats are so dirty. It is worth the drive here.

Always one of my favorite theaters. Located on second floor with parking garages on either side. D&B is across the way to get an early drink or food. The theater itself has plenty of food and drink options with lots of those customizable coke machines. A full bar with good selection of beers and cocktails. The food sold at concessions is actually very tasty and reasonably priced.

Love the Dolby cinema here. Great sound and very soft and comfortable seats.

I LOVE this Arcadia mall but this AMC theater is due for an upgrade! We need our reclining seats already! Its one of the last ones that havent been remodeled and I wish I didnt have to avoid this theater cause of it. Ill come once and a blue moon or unless its 100% dobly

Usually I have good experience here, but occasionally my BF and I run into some crazy stuff. We have the AMC premier thing with unlimited movies, so we go several times a week. We have seen a family play a show for their child WHILE the movie was going!!! We lost his ID and they wouldnt look for it while a movie was going on, though it was just credits, they told us to wait the whole movie!! The amount of babies people bring in this particular theater is crazy, almost every other movie a baby is crying and disrupting the whole movie. We love the movie deal but better management of theater activity would be nice.

Great family cinema inside Westfield Santa Anita shopping malls.

A typical early 21st century multiplex. This place is BIG, with loads of mainstream movie choices. The staff is friendly the popcorn isn’t bad and they even have a mildly overpriced bar. There’s an IMAX theater and some luxury seating options as well but ultimately this place with all is many features can’t quite make up what it lacks in soul.Pro Tip: Make sure to join Stubs - (AMC rewards program) and cash in on the free large popcorn refill with every visit.

Went to see Endgame in imax. They had a water pipe leak. That’s fine. Out of their control. When we got let in; however, they started the movie like 20 minutes after where it stopped, played it for like 30 minutes, then returned it to where it should’ve been. ABSOLUTELY RUINED MY MOVIE EXPERIENCE.

I have been calling for days trying to see if they have a new sensory friendly movie schedule. The one online is out of date. I am planning to take a group of individual who have sensory needs this Saturday. They will not answer the phone and the phone directs you to look online. Why have a phone number if you are not going to answer? I suggest they update their website if that is where you need to go to find the information.

Good place for your movie viewing. weekday morning/noon has matinee for $7 (plus tax) which is great if youre free during those time and want to catch the latest blockbuster. they also have 2 Dolby digital theaters with reclining seats so thats pretty awesome. goes great with their bar that provides alcoholic beverages at night.

GO TO MONTEBELLO AMC or PUENTE HILL MALL they wont steal from you. I been to many AMC due to being a stub member but been here constantly but I misplaced my phone and keys numerous time and the cleaning crew always were honest on returning things. But This review is to give a full account of my experience with the AMC staff and my cash theft. I went with a friend to the movie Fantasy Island on 02/17 in theatre 13 at 3:40pm of the Santa Anita AMC in ------ mall. Our seats were G5 and G6. I forgot my wallet in the cupholder which I only realized when we were at the Gas station after the movie was over. My friend immediately called the theatre to tell them about the loss of my wallet at 6.23pm. We headed on our way back to the theatre and reached by 6.40pm. My friend went to the AMC and told the person in charge about the lost wallet. Initially, the girl went to the office and told me shed get the wallet from upstairs. She came back 2 minutes later and asked me if I had gotten a call back from the AMC saying that they had found the wallet. My friend said no, coz he didnt get the call. He came back.We then went to other places we had been after the movie to see if I had dropped the wallet there. I went back to AMC and asked on the ticket counter outside. The lady with a English accent told me that they had actually found the wallet and I went inside to ask them. The same girl was there inside when I went to ask again. I told her that I distinctively remember that I forgot my wallet in the cupholder in the theatre. She said there was a movie going on and she cannot send or go inside in a ongoing movie. I said I may have dropped it under the seat. But she said, the cleaners have checked everything and the seats have a pusher thing, so that whatever is dropped under the seat is pushed forward and the cleaners would have found a wallet if it was there. I said Ill buy tickets for that movie and find the wallet myself. She then went to check the details about the movie playing and we saw that the movie playing was Knives Out and also the theatre was mostly empty including the seats G5 and G6 which was the area we wanted to search. I told her that my wallet has a tracker and that I just need to be couple feet from it and my phone will detect it. She said she cannot let us buy tickets, instead she will go inside and search for the wallet. She went and came back within 2- 3 minutes and said she found the wallet, that the wallet was pushed onto the row in front of our row. She came back quite early considering the theatre no.13 is quite inside and our row was in the back. Just pointing out that it was really fast for her to have travelled to the theatre and to the back of the row, find the wallet in the dark and come back so fast. After she gave me the wallet, I checked for my cards and cash. All my cards were there, but my cash was stolen. I dont understand why people have to steal! After spending money on tickets, food and drinks.

Went to check out the Dolby theater and it was awesome! Unfortunately we picked a movie that didnt need it but we will forsure be coming back to watch something better!

Just finished watching the Disney movie Malifecent in the IMAX theater, I recommend it highly for entertainment value, story line and great acting which brought this tail to life. What a great way to spend a Wednesday late morning early afternoon, the theater wasnt even a quarter full. Had a Drink in my hand and the popcorn all to myself...get out there and enjoy a recharge day, you owe it to yourself...enjoy

They have terrible customer service! They have a premier customer concession line but its not posted anywhere so bc I stood in the wrong the actual manager refused me service! I paid $20 a person for IMAX tickets!!!! The bathroom was dirty a.d they didnt have toilet paper, the popcorn was cold too. Very dissapointing!!!

My family and I love going to the movies. We especially like Marvel and DC flicks. Often we buy tickets to opening day on movies that usually come with a cool promotional gift (while supplys last of course) For example, Shazam (gift was a comic) spiderman far from home (gift was a spiderman figurine). My issue is that although the website states the gift is available for ticket purchases that meet the requirements to receive the gift (which I did purchase, both times). The employees both times would not honor this on opening day of the movie (although they had a box literally right in front of me). For the new spiderman movie, the website clearly states that the gift is available from july 2nd-7th (once again, while supplys last). Yesterday at the spiderman far from home movie, the employee would not give me the gift. Stating the gift was only for the 8pm showing. Not true. I read all I could on the website and nowhere did it say this. Not only was the employee rude, she dismissed me as if I was trying to get something for free. I went back first thing this morning to speak with a manager. The same employee from the day before was at the door this morning. I asked to speak to a manager and she began to act annoyed. She then pointed to the ground off to the right and said I had to wait there (like she was a cop or something). So I did what she asked. The manager promptly came to me and really turned it around. She was nice and very eager to address my issue. She gave me the figurines and apologized. She displayed some professionalism, and excellent customer service skills. Thank you. If youre reading this, make sure you get what you paid for.

I do not understand why movie theater seats are so dirty lately. I do not remember seats being this dirty before. Either movie theaters quit cleaning fabric seats or my memory is failing me. It always feels unpleasant seating in the stained seats like I did today, and it also clashes with the AMC commercial they played before the movie where they showed these high-tech electrically reclining seats AMC supposedly has, but not at this location.

Best place to watch a movie since it is in a mall so you can shop after. Depending on what time you are watching a movie, prices maybe different. I recommend you should watch movies in the morning hours since it is the cheapest.

Its fine. Sometimes a little dirty. I mean went to watch Joker the other night and someone had left the broom and picker upper in the theater the entire movie. I mean if they had cleaned up and left is one thing but yeah, the theater was for sure not as clean as it should have been.

Movie selection was plenty and relevant. Food selection was plentiful. Staff was pleasant and professional. Movie theater was very clean. Seats were comfortable and temperature was accomidating. Had a great experience and would return and recommend.

Film was a bit glitchy at parts. Theater looks nice inside seats are ok. Has a bar and good assortment of snacks and food.

So we had an issue, arrived at our seats only to find people sitting there. We rechecked our stubs & the seats were definitely the ones we paid for. Fast forward I took our stubs to the Manager and he went with me to address the issue. Findings: their tickets were for the 5pm show not 7pm. Solution: we told the Manager its easier to move us (2), vs. Them (4), yes we lost excellent seats but the Manager made it RIGHT. Outcome: (2) tickets per person, free large popcorn and large coke to use ANYTIME. Thats what I call EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!

Saw Us here. Standard grimey cloth seats with sticky arm rests. The concession area and hall ways look classy though. Its in a mall so there is ample parking but the entrance is hard to find if this is your first visit. Not the worst movie experience but Ive been to better.

A small popcorn was 7 dollars . Pretty pricey . But amc popcorn & butter are vegan! Bathrooms are clean, theaters are comfortable. It’s right next to Dave& Busters !

One of my favorite theaters, been going for quite some time now. Connected to the Santa Anita mall in Arcadia, this place is very nice. They have alcoholic drinks, really stepped up their food game over the years and now had a Dolby Cinema. Very clean and feels constantly active.

I work for a different chain of movie theaters.As an employee at this other chain, I get to watch a certain amount of free movies every day. But some days I just dont feel like being at work on my days off, even if it is to watch a free movie.So this is where I go insteadIve always loved AMC.The theaters are nice and clean, the seats are comfortable, and the food is great.I love the popcorn variety!

This is the 3rd time my boyfriend and I experience technical difficulties at the theater. The first time, we went to see Totoro and for some reason, the movie didnt download properly and we didnt get to see it (we did get coupons to see another movie though). The second time, the movie wasnt starting, but eventually that was fixed, and this last time the movie started on time but it also had issues starting. The only good part was that we didnt have to watch the trailers.

This is my number one spot to go see a movie! With so many screens and amenities, you cant go wrong. The place is well maintained and the staff is courteous and attentive. Definitely worth getting the A-list to experience all its features. Keep up the good work!

This is a very nice theatre. Each ticket is assigned to a seat.

The seats are so stiff that you end up with back pain! Considering you pay $15 you would expect reclining cushioned seats unfortunately that is not the case ! Take your family and money somewhere else if you would like some nice seats. Other than that everything else is mediocre

Good place however rude and suspicious staff. My sister had tickets and I went out to pick up emergency call since they dont people call in theatre. When I came back in they didnt let me in so I had to wait for almost half day for sister outside. Sucks.

Didnt get any snacks because we were going to dinner afterwards, but they had assigned seating and regular chairs. Not even the fancy reclining ones, just regular chairs and that was kind of annoying. Didnt use the bathrooms so I dont know how those are.

Some of the older normal screens still have those only just enough room so we can fit in more seats, but the rest of the place is great. The nicer screens, like IMAX and Dolby Cinema are much nicer, though.Every screen being reserved seating is great.

Waited 40 min in the theater, no movie, no trailer, nothing at all, all black, and then was told the show got canceled by technical issue. During 40 min wait, no staff came at all, nobody seemed to care, no proper apology received. Extremely disappointed, frustrated. The staff even had really bad attitude. Go get better staff, better technician and do better apology when it’s all your bad.

The price for a movie and food for 3 was $100, absolutely ridiculous. $65 for 3 hotdogs, 2 chicken tenders, 1 order of sliders, 1 large drink, 1 large popcorn and an Icee. Food was more expensive than the movie tickets. The chairs didnt recline and were uncomfortable to todays standards. Half of the soda machines were down. Not a great experience by any means. Definitely eat somewhere else Before you get there. Overall, very dissatisfied and disappointed. It should be called A.M.C.G., All My Cash Gone!!!!!

Bad customer service. Went to use a Gold Experience Movie Ticket Gift voucher and the cashier said they dont take these because they are older - even though theres no expiration date on them. I have to email some email address, with my contact info, pictures of front and back of ticket. Then in a few weeks, they will mail me a new voucher or email me one.What a hassle! This should be handled on the spot, in-house instead of turning the customer away to follow up on their own.

Nice to be able to use the app and my Stubs card to get reserved seats, and not need printed tickets. Good experience overall.

Movie was great! (John Wick). Service was lacking because popcorn was not ready and when it was a worker came and got himself a big box. Others were then getting served popcorn but workers were missing me.

Really a nice theater lots of choices hard to find within the mall you have to really look hard to find it its upstairs. Not Marked well from downstairs... it would be 5 stars but an iced tea hair cost more than two tees over at Cheesecake Factory so it has the usual outrageous prices but other than that pretty nice theater

This is an extremely comfortable theater and everyone is very friendly. I come here often but because they have so many show options there is an IMAX a Dolby Theater and a bar. Take advantage of the movie pass to get really good discounts if you are an avid moviegoer.

I would have given 5 stars if the seats were clean. The seats my family and I sat in were stained and had to lay paper towels before sitting. They should do upholstery cleaning weekly at least.

Went to see the new godzilla. The theatre was clean, employees where friendly and efficient. IMAX was clear with good sound. Audience behaved. Floor was a little sticky, but that is a hard one to avoid. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Could have used an additional person behind the snack counter.

Me and two of my lifelong friends went to check out the premiere of Avengers Endgame. The movie was great as well as the whole movie experience. AMC is my #1 choice for movie going.

HUGE mall. Although I never really wondered through the mall and looking at a grounds map, it took awhile to walk from one place to another and it still has other sections that I didnt even touch. I gave it 3 stars because there was this long walkway that smelled terrible as if some dirty person was standing in front of a fan.

Automated equipment didn’t work and then waited on concessions line for 20 minutes and then I finally get to an attendant and there is no popcorn for 20 minutes. I get to seat and used tissues are in the cup holder. Worst theater ever!!!!!!!!

Some good movies to choose from. We are Premium Members, so get priority in lines. This time, had a $5 reward and a free birthday popcorn. Nice, comfy seats. Sound was loud.

AMC Santa Anita 16 was awesome we got to see toy story 4 and the screen was great just that the line was very long and it took us 14 min to get our snack.

Kid talking during The Joker and who brings as child to watch that kind of movie....staff never come in to monitor to catch these kids on their phones during the movie. I think this the worst AMC besides Montebello

I have been putting up with subpar theaters. If this is not the AMC flag ship theaters then Im I cant wait to see that one. Now back down from the first impression. Cozy entrance, everything is at hand as soon as you come in. They lay out is near perfect and the hall ways nice and neat. The seating is perfect and I wish I could give six or seven stars. AMC, you did it right, thank you. Thank you very much.

It was a good place to ourselves take toddlers and young children to see a movie. There were other families with young children there as well. It was very family friendly

The pizza was okay little pricey. Recommend signing up for there there discount deal. Pays itself back pretty quickly if you go to the movies a lot. Fear was clean movie quality was great people were nice and helpful.

I really like this movie theatre. The employees are really helpful and pleasant. The theatres themselves are kept well. Ive never stepped on a sticky floor, or found gross stuff on a chair. AMC Theatres has a rewards program, and if youre a member, you can go to a movie on Tuesdays for five dollars. Its a great deal. You also get a free popcorn and drink for your birthday month. You get to pick your seats at this theatre, which I like as well. The sound is always perfect, and its been better than Arclight a lot of the times. I think Arclight sets the volume too loud. Bring a sweater or jacket to the theatre if you get cold easily, the air is on pretty high, which I understand why, just be aware. They have a bunch of special event screenings which is neat, and there is a Macguffins Bar at this location, which opens after noon, I think. I dont know if you can bring your alcohol into your movie, but I wouldnt chance it. I had a drink once at another AMC and it was delicious. They do a good job of balancing family-friendliness with making it appealing to adults, too. Definitely recommend.

I love the Dolby theater, the most recylining bed l chairs. That vibrate due to movie sound so you feel it. ***** But I wouldnt recommend for some with even the slightiest sensitivity to sound... *** But great for that person who is hard of hearing and also for that really excited person for the Movie they are so looking forward to in all its Majestic.....

Large movie theater located next to Dave and Busters inside the Westfield Santa Anita mall. Best access is the large parking structure off of Baldwin. Roomy theatre with regular and imax viewing. Snack bar has a wide array of options as well as a fully stocked bar. Prices vary by time day and the popularity of the movie.

Pretty much my go to theater. Itd be perfect but a bit pricey if the seats were all recliners. I mean, we survived without them but man that spoiled me. Its enclosed in a mall so on a hot day its great to hide out in the mall and watch movies.
