Beautiful skate floor in great condition. The staff were really friendly and the prices cant be beat. I thought the music could have used some big improvement. Might even bring more people in if they could play some better jams and maybe clean the place up a bit. Still had a great time and would recommend checking it out!

A great family outting at Skaters Edge under 25.00 for the family. Lots of fun to get some exercise in and building family relationships.

I love that this place never changes. Its like stepping back in time. The music. The smells. The lighting. I love it. Havent been here in a while and its awesome.

Friendly staffing. Great for birthday parties. Family atmosphere. Clean and well lit rink. Excellent food and games to compliment the entertainment when taking a break from the rink. Offer roller skating classes. Overall a good idea to do something different and hang out with family and friends.

I have been going to Skater’s Edge from the time I was 2. My parents used to drive from Milwaukee to take my 2 sisters and I there to skate. Now we take my 2 1/2 year old son skating there and he loves it. He loves the music, the staff, and the food. My whole family loves it there. The staff are really nice and friendly. The rink is very clean and family oriented.

I go every Friday sometimes every weekend for the whole weekend. Its great I have a great time and lots of fun. The employees are so cool and really nice. The food is amazing especially the pizza. If you have kids I recommend skaters edge.

I came here to try something different other than my favorite home roller rink (Skate City in Kimberly) and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! the staff wasn’t very friendly nor did they listen to what any of their customers had to say. their audience was teens ranging from 15-19 years of age and then a few adults and children, all they played was late 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s music. half of everyone that showed up when they opened, left immediately. probably after 30 minutes or so! the group i went with requested songs and they played none of them the entire time! NONE! they didn’t even play anyone else’s requests either. the DJ was not even nice whatsoever, i asked him about 3 times if he could play the songs that were requested and he refused! he was very opinionated and played only the music HE WANTED. we were there from open to close. to add to that as well, there was no supervision anywhere! kids were smoking vape pens on the skating floor, they were on their phones AND there was children probably younger than 6 years old using the helpers with the wheels so they could balance and they would stop on the floor and not move or watch for other people, they would fall (which is expected) and also skate the other way during the all skate and even the games, THE STAFF NEVER SAID ANYTHING NOR DIRECTED THEM! the concession stand was very outdated and looked unsanitary as well as the bathrooms! and last but not least, the skates (quads and inlines) were SO unsafe! the ones i rented had no stopper at all! i had to ask to swap my skates 3 different times. it was so insane! i will never return here, EVER. i will continue to go to the best roller rink in the Fox Valley area which is SKATE CITY. this place is trash and a waste of good money, i paid $8.00 to come here and listen to music and skate and had no fun at all!

Went there today for my nieces birthday as a big family and the service was horrible. The lady who checked us in was rude and talked to us as if we don’t know what we were doing. She was yelling at us asking how many kids and adults will be skating while we were trying to get a headcount and figuring out who is getting regular skates and in-line blades. She was rude and impatient with us. NOT FIT FOR FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT. She ruined the environment. Also when I went to upgrade my skates for an in-line blade and exchanged my shoes for the blades, she gave me a look and asked with an attitude if my shoes were girl or boy shoes. Why did it matter? I asked for a size 7.5 or 8 but instead she decided to give me a 6 which was so tight and didn’t fit. When I went back to get a size up to an 8, she said no and gave me a 7 instead. This is my first and last time going there.

Great place for the kid to unwind and good price for bday party

Had a party here for my daughter not to long ago and the owner (older lady) was so rude....I was dumbfound we were knocking n she yells from back what do you want?! we respond with we need to set up for the birthday party and shes sighing and huffing and puffing saying you have to wait I dont have anything ready let me get ready were not even open yet we had to wait only 5mins which wouldnt have been to bad if I didnt have a newborn in the car and my cupcakes were melting.....and I wasnt the only mother there for set up she was rude to her as well. Over priced frozen pizza packages next time we will book at skate city.

Ive bee going here since I was younger. Always a blast. The games while skating are always a hit. Birthday party was a good deal as well. Definitely our go to roller rink

Picnic tables are too much in the eating area. It’s too hard to move around, and makes it very intense for birthday parties. Also some issues with owner not being very nice and allowing parents to set birthday party up in advance.

Love this place. Happy to be a part of the family. There is so much to offer for all ages way beyond just open skating including Speed skating. Artistic skating. Roller derby. Skate lessons. Not to mention special events like Christian music night, holiday parties and many other themed events!

Fantastic place with reasonable prices for everything from the games to the food. The staff is awesome too. Its one of the best places to hang out with a family without spending a ton. The arcade games and claw machines are the best part too.

Brought my 2 girls here for there first take roller skating. Went great, we all had a really good expeariance. The skate mate was such a big help:) Will defiantly be going there again in the future with the kids.

Ive been to many rinks across the US and this one I am proud to call home. Been going here for over 18 yrs and still enjoy it. Great staff, great food, great prices, great floor and good music. I love bringing my children here to from time to time. Its an awesome family friendly atmosphere. Cant complain about anything. Thank you Barb for everything through out the years.

This is a really fun place to visit, nostalgic as you can get. But a lot of fun for the whole family. That is the only difference that I noticed from the skating rinks of years ago this is truly fun for the whole family.

Fun and cheap! A great place for a date. They had limbo and fun lights. Only about 4-5 bucks for a rental.

Do not pick this skating rink to go in. The staff is incredibly rude and do not care for others feelings. They also sexualize friendships and or perfectly normal relationships between people which is incredibly rude considering others do the same thing and only pick on certain people. They treat their customers with little to no respect and expect the customers to treat them with respect in return to their bluntness. They also ask very personal information when they decide to go out on you. Again, I do not recommend this rink. Theres plenty of other rinks to go to, for your own sake Id rather go to those.

Totally rude staff. All used skates were broken in some way, old, duct taped, and just bad experience. The only good thing is I was able to get my money back, but only after being yelled at by staff. She literally told me to go online and fill out a bad review (or 5 or 10, as she put it) and to take my kids to Skate City from now on.Wasnt worth the 45 min drive with kids for that!Looking at the previous review, they have had crappy skates and problems for a long time.

Should have more adult nights

Very bad experience there. If I could, i would give them a zero star rating.We went for my daughters birthday and the people who attend at the front desk were absolutely rude. We were waiting to pay and nobody would come to help us.We couldnt enjoy skating due to some of the people skating that night. To our surprise those people were the workers there.They kept cutting us off in the rink and made my daughter fall a couple of times. My daughter went home crying.At the end we were waiting to get my sons shoes and again, nobody to help us.Not worth the visit or the money.

Great place to skate, great employees and the owner is awesome! Definately recommend going here. Reasonable rates and very family friendly! I skate here all the time and wont go anywhere else in the area. Punch cards towards a free skate and games for free concession snacks.

Fun, love skating but they let there racing team skate fast around the skating rink while its regular skate and the skating team knock people over people getting hurt.Upper management needs to put a stop to this. The racing team has plenty of other time to practice.

If I could, I wouldnt even give this rink a one star! My friend and I when to this rink in December, and it was horrible. When we first walked in we had to wait about 5 minutes just to pay! We finally got in, put our skates on and went on the rink, it was the worst rink I have ever skated on! There were bumps and chips in the wood that made it hard to skate, and dont forget the floor hasnt been freshly waxed in at least 5 years! There were a few kids working there, and they were rude! They were making fun of other skaters. The counter was FULL of prizes that were overly overpriced ! It looked really messy! Lastly, their food is EXTREMELY expensive! My friend and I bought two slices of pizza for $12! It wasnt even good pizza! My friend won a free icee and got a blue raspberry flavor, when she took a sip it tasted like laundry detergent! I tasted it myself and it sure did taste like laundry detergent! I would definitely recommend a different roller rink in the fox valley to skate on.

Great place

Kids love it and enjoy the place. They learned to skate here. All the employees helped them learn and when we go out to Skaters Edge everyone there is nice and friendly. We take friends with us and have the parties out at the rink every year.

Fun place but if you come in a big group, make sure to pay individually or check your charges. They overcharged us $13 in hopes we wouldnt figure it out. In addition, lacks hospitality!! Not one thank you all night

Had a blast at last nights 4 team roller derby.

I have been going here for about 3 years now. My kids love skating here, and interacting with employees. Clean, good food and drink choices. However I noticed that every time I come here there is one employee that is always rude to customers and other employees at times. The older gal with black hair I assume is related to the employer in some way as she has been working here ever since I started coming here. If a customer asks a question she answers rudely and is always seemingly unenthused to be working. She yells across the counter to children on the rink telling them to slow down. She never smiles and has terrible vibes. One sour apple ruins the whole bunch... Sooner or later she will offend someone personally and get herself and the rink in trouble...

Can use some updates but overall.. nice place to take your kids and family.

Horrible place, if you are here the new owners are mean, they are rude, the people that works there are horrible, i will recommend a million of times skate city, the family that owns this place have a bad history, so i will be careful to get there and let your kids or teenagers be there alone, the prices are way high, the food is disgusting, the floor is hard to skate on. And like i say if you want to support a business of an abused family. This is the place.

The facility was great and the skates are very nice but the food quality/prices and hospitality was lacking compared to other skating venues in the valley.

Showed up 20 minutes early for a birthday party, door were open so we let our selves in. We were immediately confronted by a man saying the party want for another 30 minutes and we were not allowed to wait inside where it was warm. Second thing that irritated me was when my nephew asked a woman behind the desk what type of dog do you have? To which she very rudely replied ITS a DOG. She would not answer his simple question about the dogs breed. Third thing that iritated me was when I tried to bring my coffee in, the man behind the desk very abruptly and rudely told me to go outside as I could not bring my coffee inside, Im an adult I think I can handle my coffee cup thank you. Forth thing that irritated me was a cold attitude of the staff, I get it that you deal with a lot of kids but thats not a excuse to be short and demanding with them when its your job to take their shoe size and get them their skates.Tl;Dr place is pretty sub part with rude staff.

Not sure about the negative reviews listed, but when my girlfriend and I go to Skaters Edge during the adult-only skate night, which is every Wednesday @ 8:00-10:30 (heads up that there is a half-hour crossover when kids will still be there), we always have a great experience.The owner is in usually with two other employees and when shes done helping people, shell chat with us for a bit and always has a fun bit of conversation to share. The other employee thats normally in is the DJ and hes kind enough to take our multiple song requests and play them for us on the nights were feeling like hearing specific songs.As of this writing (March 2015), with a canned food item admission is only $2.50 ($3.50 for inline skates) and has been our solution to these winters months that tend to keep us in the house otherwise. Its fortunate to have a place like this on the west side of Appleton and Id like to thank the owner being here; thank you much!

Went here on January 13th, 2017--We would rate this as a minus 5 stars if we could--terrible employees--dont waste your money ---rude--disrespectful--employees clearly enjoy using the whistle and their authority to belittle kids there to skate. A younger kid there acting as a employee (the one with the hat on) told my family his grandmother would kick us out and called us the N word---REALLY!! The employee dressed in all black repeatedly harassed one of the boys we had along because he rented a skate mate due to an injury for safety--As a parent I wanted to talk to him but the boys were so embarrassed about it they didnt want me too and 3 of our group left early because of this--thanks a lot employees---also complaining behind the counter--we spent about $90 on admission, food, drinks---terrible food---more employee ridiculous rude behavior but not worth my time to write it all down---please consider spending your money some place else.OWNERS--People now days dont want to spend their hard earned money dealing with such crap--lots of negative reviews on here about employees --youll be closing the doors permanently if your family/employees dont figure this out---Geez maybe thats why on a Friday night like tonight with it cold and not much to do you were only 1/3 full!!!!!Im sure the owners response to this is going to be the standard automated response that the rest have gotten--A DISGRACE!!Munns Family

It was fun but my neices bday was there and the staff was very rude and harrassing my family it was hard to enjoy time with my neice, they had younger children working there and i saw the owner yelling at her agressivly. Probally wont go back for a party again.

I dont usually do reviews, but this place deserves 0 stars. The people here that are the employees are rude. And they are the ones skating and cutting people off and acting like jackasses on the rink. Yes, thats right the employees instead of working are skating and goofing off.People fell, people got hurt, and not a single employee stoped or checks to see if the customer is ok.Waited 10 minutes at the entry window to pay and get in. Yelled HELLOOOOO! in the window no one there.Ive read the other reviews. For every 1 bad one there are 5-10 people who didnt post. Pick a different rink. Any one. Go to Gem go to Skate City. The only way to fix a place like this is to hit them in the pocket book.

A little to much money,though skatersedge got my vote because the rink is big and the place has alot of veritay on food skates and many more,when games and races come they explain it way better then skate city and skatersedge has awesome music

My daughters class was supposed to go on a field trip to Skaters Edge. When they arrived the doors were locked and the owners were not there. After an hour of kids sitting on the bus and the field trip coordinator trying to reach someone, they had to cancel the field trip, turn around and come back to school. 2 bus loads of 4th graders cheated out of a field trip. They had been looking forward to this field trip for almost 2 months. Very, very poor business practice if you ask me.

Great place for family fun

It took forever to pay. Even longer to get skates. Paid extra for blades and went through 3 pairs and then gave up. Very rude staff. It smelled like weird rotten food or garbage. It very clearly hasnt been thoroughly cleaned in years. Clutter everywhere you look. My other son said the floor was so pitted and bumpy he was done after 30 minutes.
