A very short hike to the tiny waterfall area of Arrastre Falls. It is a cool little ravine area in the hills with some trees. I went in early Winter so it was dry even after a light rainfall. Based on other photos shared even when there is water it is only a small trickle down the canyon and nothing to amazing. The off-road trail to get here though is fun and worth it I think.
We managed to find our way here just following the off-road trail on a lazy Sunday drive. The view from this place is amazing. The falls are extremely close to the trail entrance, no more than a hundred feet or so. And the hike wasnt very difficult, more like a steep hill.We didnt explore much farther up the path, as we were planning on exploring more of the off-road trail.
Nice little drive, ate dust for two hours well worth it. Still testing our new 4 wheeler. Old, but new to us.
Nice short hike. The perfect spot to stretch your legs during a day of offroad exploration.
One of my favorite spots to go to when off roading. Nice place for the dogs and yourself to cool off. When its flowing that is. It dont flow all the time.
Great place to go hiking with the kids and dog
Its a cool place to go if you want to get off the beaten path into some really desolate-feeling terrain. You can hike up to the surrounding peaks pretty easily, for a nice view. When I was there mid-January, there really wasnt a waterfall to speak of. Even after recent snowfall in the mountains above.
Rode my Dirt bike through some of the trails. Very nice scenery for hikers especially! Lots of greenery and mountains, good wildlife too!
Great for hiking. Beautiful
Great place to visit. Especially in the spring.
Hidden gem in Juniper Flats. Nice interpretative kiosk for adults and kids.
Beautiful riparian area near the desert.
Beautiful, easy hike.
