Very nice place everyone is respectful and shared lots of knowledge. Bathrooms close before dark so that is tough. Maybe a porta potty would be good out there I think they think men are the only ones that fish so its okay to like the bathroom.

Antioch Regional Shoreline is a beautiful Park that offers a variety of areas for families to enjoy. Hiking, fishing or bringing the family for a picnic, they have a covered area for Concerts or whatever events that you may want to have, wheelchair accessible bathrooms and fishing pier and parking

Nice getaway and destination.. Clean and nice people all year round!. Have fun

Use to go here as a Child. Never gets old. I love the breeze. This place gives you that San Francisco Vibe without having to go to San Francisco. Also keep in mind this is a popular place sooooo theres gonna be people, unless u catch the right day.

Not a fan of this area. Ive heard stories of big fish but j get all mine about 5 miles down the river.Happy fishing everyone.

Its nice for fishing only for adults not kids there are always people smoking and is not healthy for adults and kids.

Hi all BoomerNaut posting.. really like this state park. Ideal for a quick getaway. Beautiful and seemingly pretty quiet, right underneath the bridge. Its especially beautiful at Dusk and Dawn - the green grass is great for the kids and the dogs to run around on. The park has these amenities: got a couple of of barbecue pits, I havent been down to the restrooms, we have walked the pier though. Pastoral ... in an urban way .. those the only words that can describe.

Too many people and not even social distancing. Plus people are rude especially if theyre not from here. Last I saw was park was closed now anyways.

Fishing on the pier, hit or miss. I think the river otter had more luck

The area is mostly industrial but you can see the water. This is also the older area of town. There are some very nice shops down there to investigate. Hillys Quilts Shop is great. The shop offers all types of classes. Go down and check out the area. Good luck.

Awesome striper fishing if you want to practice catching them as most of the time they are shaker size. It is great fun for the kids though anytime you want your kids to go out and catch fish bring small hooks and some sardines or anchovies and they will catch all day. Occasionally, you get a big whopper role in through there and if you got the right way to the right time, Youll get to go home with a keeper.

Very friendly place bring shade.. plenty of small stripers with a few keepers.

Great place to barbeque and dine outdoors. Limited picnic tables are complete with barbeques and are situated a good distance apart. This is a great place to relax, regroup or enjoy the outdoors and is suitable for any budget. For added enjoyment, there is an adjacent fishing pier.

Some of the best fishing around especially for the kids. It gets cold down here sometimes so bring your coat. While dad has his rod out waiting on a monster, set the kids up with light tackle and theres enough Shaker bass out there to keep them interested,an they can easily blow through a bag of anchovies.There are big grass areas for kids and pets to run around in picnic tables and BBQ Pit setup for that bbq. Nice views with bathrooms and fish cleaning station this place is good for anything from birthday parties to family day out fishing or a stroll.

Nice walk much of it is asphalt so good for scooters, wheel chairs, and strollers. There is a pier that one can fish and watch the delta. It also has an amphitheater and really large map of the delta on the ground which really gives you a great understanding of the area. This is the only area of the park I explored and did not find much in the way of dirt trails though their is old equipment in the area which one had a date of 1909 on it. The visitor center was closed but I was told that it had some great exhibits even some that you can see under a microscope.

Nice place for family to enjoy some fishing. Night time fishing is nice has led lights so its very well lighted area.

Welcoming place. An oriental crowd reminded me of a friend whos in the hospital. Caredull with the vegetation building up beneath the peir or dock a fishing line could get snagged. Public restrooms. Water. 5 stars.

Gotta say its definitely a major fishing spot for the locals. The shoreline offers plenty of grass space with tables and bbq pits, than a very short walk to the fishing pier, they have decent bathrooms and if you feel brave eat some wild black berrys . I give this a 3 star because the up keep can be better and its just missing something for the kids a swing set or jungle gym maybe

Very quiet during the day. Fishing and boating both excellent.

The only thing I dont like is crossing with a trailer & truck & having to pay $26.00 .Antioch is nice in itself .Great places to visit like MACS OLD HOUSE RESTAURANT.

A beautiful site to see. The Antioch bridge up close with a nice chill breeze. If you come at the right time, you can catch a look at a real Bay Area sunset.

A nice secluded park/pier area at the end of Bridgehead Road. Has a big picnic ground with tables and BBQ grills. Bathrooms are usually kept clean but there are moments.. The water is close by so be mindful of the the little ones. The pier is a good fishing spot with plenty of shakers and a good chance at keepers.

Hey, what can I say?If you enjoy fishing and dont have a boat, this may be your go-to spot.Plenty of spots to fish and trash cans.Area was well maintained, and even has a fish cleaning station.Bait and tackle shop nearby just in case you forgot something. Bunch of places to get a bite to eat if youre like me,( Lousy, fisherman).Location is like a park setting and has restroom.Bring a jacket can be windy and just abit chilly.

Such a beautiful place...I love to launch my Small 14 fishing boat in the water there, Ive also picnic in the park with my kids, gets really cold towards the evening..but a beautiful place to relax and catch a breeze.

Near the highway and the place is very big had lots of fish variety to catch but has a dirty environment.

We went to Jims Holiday marina and it was like we were in Siberia at the coldest part of the norrh pole...jk but it was pretty dam cold there tonight. Nice place to park your boat and great people too! Well keep going back as long as we can$
