My favorite Lake County Forest Preserve for running. A favorite for hikers, runners and dog-walkers, this is a two mile ( 4 miles total ) out-and-back trail with varying terrain.Washroom with locking doors, and a fairly large parking area. You’ll rarely feel crowded here.

Great trail, solid parking and enough garbage cans even a couple of fishing docks

Nice place for a run. Only problem is its not a loop its 2.1 miles one direction, and then you have to turn around. Also, there is a street to cross.
