It is a church I am the type to think that all that space above the fourth floor ceiling could be better used as additional floors with beds for the homeless I dont think God cares to much for gold and unused warm space. But thats just me.

Such a tranquil place. I happened to pass by this Church on the way to other places. But Im so glad I visited it. The atmosphere is very calming and there seems to be a long history behind it (according to the photos I found next to its entrance). I wonder why this Church decided to color its inner dome white when it was already painted decades ago. The Church seems to planning for a new beautification project. So, in the future the dome might be painted again.

Love the Latin Mass. it is so respectful and a beautiful liturgy. Loved the many large families who attend Mass together.

Beautiful church, beautiful presence of God and the Holy Spirit. It felt very European. I hope they restore it to the way it used to look inside.

Beautiful historical church. At the 9am mass there is usually an ASL interpreter for the deaf

Very nice, visited Feb. 2020. Got to go to confession, priest was very good for that. They currently are beautifying the church and from the images in the back it will look amazing.

Love the Mass here. Fr. Jim is the best. Even the choir here makes Mass a more solemn and profound experience. The welcoming committee always there with a smile. Thank you for making Mass a beautiful and blessed experience for us.

Wonderful House of worship. I am a Catholic and have been, ever since I was a child. This is one of my favorite Catholic churches in the area, when it comes to picking a mass this is always in my top three. From convenient mass times and Daily Mass, too wonderful confessions with the Speedy lines. This is truly one of the best Catholic churches in the area

Medieval stone set structure enhanxes the aura of this church. Poised at the corner on a residential block and within 500m of the University of Michigan Central Campus building. Visit it. Its enchanting.

High mass at 11 and contemporary mass at 6. Something for everyone. Also just a great space for prayer and contemplation.

Its a very beautiful Church Catholic Church I. I really enjoy the openness of the priest and the friendliness of the parish. Very open excellent services accommodating for all.

Made a special trip by riding the city bus in order to request assistance during posted office hours, but no one was there and I wasted a trip, time, and bus fare. (Waited for 45 minutes, but no one ever arrived... Such a bummer.)

Great priests, marvelous liturgies, and a welcoming congregation. I love walking through the doors of this beautiful church. Theres a unique sense of peace in this space that leaves me a little more hopeful every time.

The church is totally brick, allll around. So beautiful a sight for my eyes to see. High ceilings and beautiful windows. Just an awesome view inside and out! Amazing history, built in 1845. Go there, visit if youre ever in the area. Even if you dont attend the mass, tour the building. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely beautiful church. An ideal location for a wedding.

No where does it say in the Bible that church should be on a Sunday. Originally, Jesus worshipped the Lord our God in Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. He did this because he was Jewish. We as Christians need to obey His law. Any Christian who doesn’t keep the Sabbath is breaking the fourth commandments. I’d suggest you look at Matthew 28:1 and Mark 16:1 to see the truth. Also, in Revelation 14:6, it talks about those who don’t keep the Sabbath and what happens at the end times. I bet your priest hasn’t brought up the Mark of the Beast. Those who continue to follow worldly traditions and turn away from God have the mark. Those who choose to turn away from the world and turn to God will have the mark of Jesus Christ.

THIS is the faithful Catholic parish of the area. Great priests, good liturgy, wonderful place of worship. The RCIA could definitely use some work but compared to most parishes these days, this place is truly a find.
